We had a very positive experience holding our wedding reception at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel. Our coordinator, Lauren Bolsover, was very responsive, knowledgable, and professional and worked with us to make sure that we had exactly the kind of reception we wanted (for example, we really wanted pierogies at the cocktail reception as a nod to my husband's Polish heritage even though they weren't on the menu, and she and the chef were happy to oblige). Lauren responded to my many emails quickly and cheerfully in the months leading up to the wedding; I felt confident that everything would be taken care of for the reception. On the day of, when pictures after the ceremony took longer than expected, the L'Enfant Plaza Staff had no problem pushing the evening's schedule back a bit, while Lauren communicated the changes to our DJ and photographer as well. As far as the reception package, we felt that it included a lot and was a great value, especially given the hotel's location (three blocks to the National Mall and right next to a major metro stop, which our out of town guests loved). The reception package came with a separate bridal party room for our group during the cocktail reception, where the L'Enfant Plaza staff had set out hors d'oeuvres, bottled water, and a bottle of champagne. The food at the cocktail reception and dinner was excellent and very filling, and the included champagne toast during dinner was a nice touch. Overall, our guests had a great time, we received many compliments on the venue, and Lauren Bolsover was an excellent coordinator.

Our daughter's wedding cocktail and reception was held at L'Enfant Plaza hotel. Every single detail was perfect. The food and service was excellent. The continuous profesional support by Kristi St. Peter and her staff from the time we visited the hotel for the first time to the last minute of the wedding reception was fantastic. We held a cocktail hour and our reception at L'Enfant Plaza Hotel. We were thoroughly impressed with the service and the venue. The event coordinator, Kristi St. Peter, was incredibly helpful throughout our interaction with the hotel. She was the ultimate professional, was very kind, and helped us take care of numerous details unique to our celebration. Everything went very smoothly on the day of the reception. It was like we pressed a button and everything took care of itself. The food was excellent, as well. Taken as a whole, the value was extraordinary. Love this venue. Great location and a ballroom perfect for DC weddings
I had the pleasure of photographing L'Enfant Plaza and it is grand place and Kristi really cares about helping your event be successful. And best part is it is located right in DC so it is close to all the cool monuments for pictures with guests before or after your event.
