Unforgettable Wedding Day!
Incredible Service with Amazing Team
Our wedding weekend was absolute bliss and the team at the Ritz executed it perfectly. The team did everything to accommodate us and we really appreciate it. In addition to Katie, we primarily worked with the Ritz’s special event manager Allie Delgado, who was so thoughtful and flexible while working with us.
Through the food tasting, countless planning emails, and all the coordination leading up to the weekend, the planning process felt seamless. Allie was patient, creative, and flexible as we worked through menu options to balance our budget and accommodate guest dietary restrictions. The team handled every change with care and professionalism.
In the end - it's all about feeling comfortable and the attention to details. Allie is a logistics extraordinaire - already predicting our asks and reserving for us additional storage spaces and getting ready rooms. Allie also cared for our family who alongside Samantha Boem, were very accommodating and assisted with the hotel room blocks which we ended up doubling. Every guest we spoke with praised the front desk staff - this venue can clearly handle large guest events.
The food was phenomenal as well - Chef Cesar is magic. Everyone was raving about the food, especially the risotto, fish tacos, mushroom ravioli, beet salad, and incredible appetizers including the edamame potstickers, spicy tuna, bruschetta, and beggar’s purse. The late night food and desserts passed out on the dance floor were also great.
Allie, Katie, and the team at the Ritz also stood out for the unique touches. They created spot on “his and her cocktails” (we didn’t adjust them at all from the tasting) and even designed the signage for them. There were many thoughtful gestures - from the room rates for the executive suites, to the gifts throughout the weekend that were in our room, and the biggest surprises of the layout on the bed in the honeymoon suite.
If you are deciding whether to work with this team, in the beautiful event spaces they provide, you should look no further. You will be in exceptional hands and we would choose this venue and the team again in a heartbeat.
The dream wedding
We scheduled our tour promptly and immediately fell in love with the hotel/ballroom. The ballroom I believe was renovated before or after COVID and it is absolutely STUNNING. The newly renovated carpets, crown molding details, chandeliers and the ceiling WOW. We knew this was the wedding venue for us as it required minimal decor and gave us the timeless, classic wedding we envisioned.
Upon signing the contract, we were assigned an events coordinator immediately to work with us closely. Christin was a gem to work with, her kindness, her attention to detail and ability to leave no stone unturned was impeccable. She scheduled bi weekly calls months leading up to the wedding and weekly once closer to the wedding. She was always available for us and made sure to answer all our questions/concerns. Christin and the staff at the Ritz were truly remarkable- I have never received such service but hey again its the Ritz! Even our guests staying at the hotel were shocked by the level of service and kindness they received by all staff in different depts. Those are the details that also mean the world to us and what we appreciate hearing from all our loved ones who took the time to join us on our joyous evening.
We HIGHLY recommend the Ritz Pentagon city to anyone in the Arlington or surrounding areas who are searching for their dream wedding. You won't regret it I promise! Another plus was our out of town guests were also able to enjoy exploring the DC area in such close proximity. Thank you again Katie, Christin & the staff at Ritz Pentagon City. We cannot wait to come back for a staycation stay and enjoy it again on our wedding anniversary!
Smoothest wedding planning experience ever!
The ladies and gentlemen at the Ritz, specifically Katie Fabian, and Linor Shemesh, were always accommodating to changes and bringing my vision to life. They were always welcoming and kind to us while we were visiting to go over details, and were especially sweet to all our guests.
The space was recently renovated to include light blues, whites and tranquil earth tones. It was perfect for a summer wedding. The ambassador room was great for the cocktail hour, and the diplomat room was just the right size for 75 guests, a large dance floor, all the vendors, and the buffet.
My husband and I also stayed the night in the hotel. What a great surprise to arrive into the room with a wonderful letter from the Ritz team and a chilled bottle of Prosecco! They also put some rose petals in the bath for us, which was a very romantic touch.
Prime location means you guests are also close to highways and can easily get in and out of DC and Alexandria if they want to see the tourist sites!
I 100% recommend the Ritz in pentagon city to anyone who is looking for a great summer wedding venue in the DMV area!
