Though the hotel does not provide an outdoor ceremony locations there are several nearby park, synagogues, and churches for your ceremony. Hotel Monaco does, however, provide a luxuryious ballroom space for your reception. The Paris Ballroomonce served as the U.S. Postmaster General's Library, and to this day featured bookcases and full-length windows to add to its historical charm. The 20-foot-ceilings and stunning skylight offer grandeur and elegance to your wedding ambiance. The Paris Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests.

We recently had our ceremony and reception at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC. The service provided by all the staff was amazing-Buddee Clinton, their Director of Catering and Events, kept us right on schedule for the day and made sure all of our last minute change requests were taken care of--including adding meals for the a seated dinner less than 2 hours before the reception. The venue is spectacular-lots of natural light, and very romantic. Since the Hotel Monaco is a historical landmark, it fits right in with creating a unique Washington experience for your guests and the location is central to so many DC sites. Our guests, those who stayed in the hotel, and those who just came for the wedding, raved about how beautiful it was.
As a bride, the hotel suite (gorgeous) was perfect for having a hair and makeup team come to the room and to host family and friends throughout the day.

Having our wedding at the Hotel Monaco was one of the best decisions we could have made! The event coordination team is incredibly professional and took care of all the details during the weekend. Buddee is great to work with and helped us to think through all the details and then worked with our vendors to make sure the day went off without a hitch. We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Monaco. The Monaco was the perfect venue. I fell in love with the beautiful skylight in the room and the uniqueness of the hotel. Our chuppah was under the skylight, and it was just perfect with the natural light shining through during the ceremony.
