Embassy Suites Old Town provided the perfect setting for our wedding celebration. Sonia is the reason I chose the venue and I'm so glad my decision was right - her support and guidance were invaluable throughout the entire process. Kevin was also incredibly supportive and responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. When Sonia was out for a month, her coverage Maddie was also exceptional to work with. Having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different spaces within the hotel made the logistics much smoother while creating distinct experiences for guests throughout the event. One of our guests even mentioned it was their favorite wedding they'd attended! For summer brides: pack bug spray if you plan photos by the fountain - beautiful pictures, but plan ahead!

Work with Tania for our wedding whom was great! Answered all out questions prior to the wedding and made sure we were stress free during the wedding! Also have nice rooms and banquet staff who all worked hard! Great venue for a wedding around town.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Il Porto in June and it was the perfect spot to gather and celebrate with family and friends. Prior to booking our rehearsal dinner we had a wonderful meal at Il Porto. Kevin made it easy to book and create the dinner we really wanted. For the rehearsal dinner we had the entire upstairs area to ourselves where there was a full service bar. Family and friends were able to enjoy appetizers and drinks upon their arrival. While we had an open bar, waiters were also coming around with wine to refill guests. Dinner was a plated meal where guests were able to chose from the menu we selected. They were given 4 entree choices and 2 desserts. All of the meals were excellent and made the dining experience wonderful. We highly recommend just going for a casual dinner or for hosting an event.

Beautiful venue in a great location! We had our wedding reception here and Laure and her team were amazing to work with. We had an intimate destination wedding, which was followed by a home reception the weekend after. Hence, it was a crazy, few weeks leading up to our event. Laure herself got in touch with all our vendors and made sure everyone was set for the event. We really appreciate her and all that she did for us and accommodating our requests. The ballroom was nice and spacious and the hallway right outside the ballroom was a beautiful setting to host the cocktail. We also set up our photo booth in the hallway which attracted many guests. The guestrooms are also very nice and comfortable. Overall, we were very pleased with our event and stay at the Westin. We knew we were in good hands working with Laure and definitely would recommend the Westin!

I had a small (~35 people) wedding reception at the Lorien, and would definitely recommend! The value was great, and the whole process to book and plan was made so easy by the lovey team. The food was great, and I appreciated that the spaces at the Lorien are flexible so I could host a really intimate dinner with family, but still have extra spaces that people could use to mingle and chat throughout! The events team, especially Jennifer, were incredibly helpful and communicative, answering my million questions and being very flexible right up until the last minute. It was also great to have a room included in the package as that made everything so convenient. All of my guests who stayed at the hotel really enjoyed it (and it’s dog friendly!) and we had a wonderful time - all of the staff were so kind and helpful, and we had an incredible time.

Betsy, Seth, and Essaid at the Sheraton made us feel like welcomed family and guests for our big wedding weekend. From being flexible with our room block needs to executing a rain day plan for our cocktail reception, the day went off without any major hitches. They were also particularly fun and sweet when handling our crowd of merry wedding guests (with a big appetite for the open bar)! Our guests loved the location, everyone was able to explore our beloved Old Town throughout the weekend, and we were able to relax (a little) knowing they didn't need our full attention all the time. We thought we could not afford the wedding of our dreams, in a place we love, until we found the Sheraton Suites in Old Town. Oh! And we are STILL getting compliments on our delicious reception dinner-- the food and drink was exceptional!

Some people go above and beyond to make your day special and easy- Craig is one of those people. He was there for us every step of the way (and even steps I didn’t know about!). Apparently my family was calling him with requests that I had no idea about and he took care of everyone. He made the day so special for me and my husband. Every time I had a question he would promptly respond. He let us in early to set up center pieces, was present at the tasting with the head chef, and coordinated day of and day before events. The space is beautiful. The bridal suite is everything I could have wanted in a space to get ready. I cannot day enough about the Hilton!

Residence Inn Old Town Alexandria South at Carlyle was one of our two official hotel room blocks. We worked with Latrice to set up a block of 10 rooms, with a modest discount, including a reduced parking rate. The hotel itself was very close to our reception venue (Caryle Club), close enough that we could walk the distance. The hotel did provide shuttle service for guests to and from the reception as well, including extending their usual hours in order to accommodate our reception's end time. The room (all suites) was useful for us, as we had additional stuff relating to our wedding. As bride and groom, we were given a free upgrade to a king suite for both nights of our block.

We loved getting married at the Alexandrian! I exchanged probably 100 emails with Amanda, the venue coordinator. She was responsive, kind, thoughtful, and on top of things. The venue is the most significant vendor in terms of how your wedding will look and feel - and how you will feel! I had complete confidence in Amanda and her team, so it meant I wasn't nervous the day of. There were a couple little things my Best Woman had to check in on right before the ceremony, but we were able to have our wedding go off without a hitch - even without a day-of coordinator. Amanda and her team went above and beyond! The food was wonderful, all of the spaces were gorgeous, and my guests had the best time ever.
