I always love when a couple tells me they are holding their wedding at The George Washington Hotel because I know they are going to be absolutely amazed with how perfectly and professionally their wedding plans come to fruition. As a cake artist and wedding cake vendor, I love working with the GW because the entire staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and eager to lend a helping hand. They are solely focused on making sure your wedding day is amazing and memorable for you and your guests.
The GW Hotel brings to life the class and elegance of the past. The ballroom is beautiful and the courtyard provides a great outdoor option. As a photographer I'm a huge fan of the lounge for photographing the groom and his guys. Most important in my opinion is the staff, energetic and caring; they take a personal interest in every bride making sure everything runs smoothly (it always does by the way). I often get to see what goes on in the "background" and watch as the staff prepares the ballroom for ceremonies/ receptions. They pay attention to the details, I've seen servers walk by a table see that the centerpiece or table number was slightly off center and move it (we're talking an inch or so). If I was getting married I would want the friendly, detail oriented team at the GW Hotel worrying about everything so I wouldn't have to!
The George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia is a top notch venue which caters to the needs of it's clients. I've had the pleasure to enjoy this beautiful establishment many times over the past twenty years. It's always an honor to provide our professional disc jockey services at their hotel for the many brides and grooms who acquire our entertainment for their ceremony and reception. From their top notch staff, to their attention to detail, this is an amazing ballroom which I would highly recommend. Suzi Smith and Jane Obst are courteous, friendly, and always accommodating to their clients.
