Kate is the best wedding planner in town! We loved her because of her amazing people skill and kindness. She never pushed you doing stuff the you never want to and it was such a joy working with her AND getting to know her.

During my preparation for the wedding ceremony, I was pretty busy with other things in life but didnt want to miss anything and figured that a planner would keep me on track, and Kate Capshaw helped me exactly the way we have wanted. You may think that a friend or a sister who has been married in the past could help you out, however,
a profession is much much better, trust me!

My wedding is really small and not complicated, even so, Kate helped created a timeline and sincerely helped us with every little thing. She even brought her own "equipment" to help decorate my wedding, which turned out to be very cute in pics.

She also gave a list of great vendors with reasonable price and we enjoyed working with everybody. Also, ask Kate about the wedding cake, the price is good, the taste of the cake is even better!!!

Kate of Resolusean Events did a wonderful job at our wedding. She was the go to to all of the vendors we hired, made sure they arrived in time, set-up properly, etc. Plus she stayed calm and collected the whole time.

I hired Kate around Thanksgiving 2008 as my wedding planner for our April 2009 wedding. I was getting burnt out on planning as I work fulltime and Kate was my Christmas gift to myself. Best gift I have ever given myself too! SHE IS AWESOME!!! Kate helped me every step of the way and I am so grateful to her. Kate is professional and on top of that, she is so kind and such a good person and that was very obvious to me as soon as I met her. I'm not sure why, but somehow when we first met, I immediately knew that she was someone who could help and someone I could trust. If I had to do it over again and thank God I don't :), I would hire Kate again in a heart beat. She helped me find other vendors when I didn't have them booked yet. She's well connected and has multiple options in her "little black book". Of course, she was very open about her contacts - it wasn't like I *had* to use them and she wasn't weird about giving them out. Kate also helped me with designing some of the "look and feel" for the day and gave great input on different pieces. On the actual day of our wedding, NOTHING went wrong. Every vendor was in synch and the day went completely smoothly. To be perfectly frank, we had no idea what we were doing going into the planning process and we ended up having a gorgeous fun wedding. Everyone who attended enjoyed it - we got not one negative comment from anyone and Kate was the glue that kept everything together. If I could give Kate 10 stars, especially for the value for cost, I would. Thank you Kate!!

Kate was absolutely amazing, I recommend her to everyone that I know thats having a wedding...she was my day of or week of planner, but she did more then that. she did above and beyond to make sure our wedding was great and any problems were solved before I knew about them, and that was nice that she still told me, and made sure any alternate was ok with me. She was so sweet and nice, and very helpful with any questions i had even as i planned she was there to help me in a crisis (like my not so nice sister in law insisting to bring their 2 month old to an adult only wedding) and any vendor questions.... I would hire her again in a heart beat.

Resolusean Events, with Kate at its forefront, is the most amazing company I have worked it. I am normally a very laid back person, but planning my wedding was becoming stressful for me. Even though I had already begun to speak with vendors and plan my wedding on my own, Kate jumped right in and didn't miss a beat. She let me stay involved as much as I wanted to, but made sure that everything was taken care of. She even went as far as to call the vendors that were pushing me around to let them know it wasn't going to happen anymore- in the sweetest way that only can be seen from Kate!!!
Having Kate help out with my wedding was like having another big sister looking out for me.

Hopefully at our 50th wedding anniversary, Kate can help me put something together!

My wedding would not have been as beautiful, memorable, flawless and stress-free without Kate Capshaw. She was my right-hand throughout my wedding planning. Not only did she keep me on track and on budget, she helped me with all aspects of my wedding and kept me sane. Her vendor recommendations brought my dream wedding to reality, and her organization allowed it to run seamless and on-time. My wedding had a very tight timeline and Kate was able to bring everything together before all my guests arrived to the reception! My husband and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and she also made quite an impression on all of our guests and family. Kate was absolutely the best vendor we met and had the opportunity to work with. She provided exemplary service far above and beyond what she was contracted for. We hired her as a day of coordinator and met with her regularly for a month leading up to the wedding, continually developing our relationship and her understanding of us and our wedding day desires. Let me say that again - our day of coordinator worked with us for a month. She is a genuinely positive person with an upbeat personality and the ability to take charge and play the bad guy when necessary. She is hands down one of the kindest (and well connected) people we have ever met. Our wedding day was completely stress-free, thanks to Kate's abilities and service.

I am posting this on both Resolusean Photography and Resolusean Events because we were blessed to have both sides of this great duo have a hand in making out wedding "picture perfect" (excuse the pun)

Kate and Sean from Resolusean are amazing. My bride would have been a “basket case” (and I am sure I would have been too) had it not been for Kate's abundant skills in...well everything we saw her do. Though....her incoming ocean wave spotting skill could use some practice, :P. (We still love her and the pictures. And who would have thought that a man with two bulky cameras could be so agile?)

But we totally recommend Kate to anyone that talks about planning an upcoming wedding. Wither they think they need a planner or not (OMG, You do!).

The same praise goes towards Sean and his ability with a camera, my wife and I -love- all of the shots he took, from the engagement session to the last picture of the reception. So far, it is about 3 1/2 months after our wedding and we still haven't ordered prints yet since we have SO many that we love and HAVE to have. But we don’t have the wall space in our home for that many pictures! Even our guest still comment on how great Sean and kate were, how the pictures look amazing and how Kate seemed to be EVERYWHERE (and thats not a bad thing, for those that might read it wrong). How often, months after the event, do you still have people commenting on how fantastic a vendor(s) was?

The great thing is that everyone says they didn’t notice them at the ceremony or the reception, but after everything was over people were able to see that Sean and his camera was always somewhere capturing a memory of the night.

And Kate would pop up if there was something that needed handling or some nudging (Trust me and my bride; this organized, beautiful woman that always seems to have a smile on her face, can flip a switch and become the bull dog that gets things handled when other vendors or ‘Murphy’s Law’ tries to screw with -your- day).

Anyways, I have rambled on so much that my brain keeps bringing more and more terrific things to say about these two, so I'll cut it off here and just say that if you want someone that is all about making sure that YOUR day is perfect, then look no further than Resolusean.

The only way that you could go wrong is by going with someone other than these two.

Kate Capshaw is AMAZING! She was such a help to my daughter, Jackie, and I in planning this most wonderful day for Jackie and her new husband Brad. Kate totally took all of the hassle out of the last week of preparation and ran with it. She created a minute by minute schedule for us to follow for the rehearsal and wedding day which made it so easy and worry free for us. I feel like I made a friend while working with Kate. She is a wonderful, sweet, and very hard working person. She worked continuously and tirelessly the week before the wedding and through the wedding day itself. I highly recommend her and would not plan an event without her. KATE IS AWSOME!
