The best thing I did when planning our wedding was hire Rebecca and Mia from Red Letters Days to help me plan it and be there to coordinate everything on the day of the wedding. It was also the smartest money we spent. Their services were worth every penny and more. They were an invaluable resource for us, especially since we were planning a destination wedding in La Jolla, Ca and we live outside Chicago. Red Letter Days is the single reason that it was even possible to pull our destination wedding off. They referred me to excellent vendors and acted as a liason between me and vendors as well as the hotel where we had the wedding. Their great personalities and down-to-earth approach combined with their planning skills and professionalism make their business one that I would glowingly recommend to anyone. They did an A+ job!

Rebecca was great. My wedding was absolutely perfect. There were no problems at all. I would totaly recommend Red Letter Days to help coordinate your wedding. The only problem I had was some un-needed stress due to lack of communication and returning phone calls and emails. Also at the end of the reception I felt that her assistants were more there for me than she was when there was a problem with the bill. Other than that, Rebecca introduced me to great vendors, tried very hard to stay within my budget, and coordinated everything on my big day.

Mia and Rebecca are the most FABULOUS event planners ever. We selected them to coordinate our wedding because even though we knew what we wanted we didn't want to think about it at all the day of the event...and we didn't want our friends or family to either. For a couple who are professional program managers this is the first time either of us has ever trusted anyone else enough to let it all go. They did such a great job that I don't think there have ever been two more relaxed people getting married in the history of the world. My bridesmaids couldn't believe how relaxed a "control freak" like me was on my wedding day, but I knew without a doubt that the girls from Red Letter Days had it all under control.
Our wedding day was perfect and beautiful and we had the best time! They took care of everything and implemented our vision beautifully. Along the way of the planning process they introduced us to wonderful vendors, each of whom did a fantastic job for us!
They are fun and professional and super organized - hire them and you can relax and enjoy your wonderful event and look like a superhero to your guests! ;-)

Flat out, RLD rocked! They helped our wedding vision come to life and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I'd like to tell any bride who's on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator to hire one!! It might not seems like it's a big deal throughout the planning, but the day of, it makes all the difference!

Rebecca and Mia were absolutely fabulous throughout my wedding plannng process. This company was not only highly recommended, but more importantly lived up to their reputation as professional, accomodating, and attentive wedding coordinators. I immediately felt at ease with Rebecca, and was highly confident in leaving myself and my wedding in her highly capable hands. Through the duration of the planning process Rebecca kept in constant contact with me, and fully informed me every step of the way.
The day of the wedding, I experienced a few snags with the ceremony and reception venue. Red Letter Days handled each issue with grace, professionalism, and care. At no point did I even feel bothered or worried - they took care of everything!! I would recommend this company with full confidence, and wish any upcoming bride and groom the same experience my husband and I enjoyed. Thank you, Red Letter Days, for helping to create the wedding of my dreams.

I cannot express in any words how helpful and wonderful these ladies were! I was desperate for another coordinator after the first one had to be let go. After a little research, my sister found information on Red Letter Days for me and I set up an appointment immediately.
With only about a month or so to go before the big day, I was anxious to tie up all of the details. We already had the venue, photographer, florist, caterer, DJ and most of the decor for the reception, but the small details and coordination of the event was weighing on me more than ever. The last thing I wanted to do was have a friend or family member have to be responsible for something major on our special day. I needed someone who knew what they were doing, who would take full responsibility and make the whole day come together as we hoped it would.
I was so pleased to work with Rebecca and Mia and I knew I had nothing to worry about. All of the advice about "relaxing and enjoying the day" could finally be taken! These ladies know how to make a bride slow down and take in every second of the wedding day! They were willing to go above and beyond and I trusted them to make any changes to the reception decor if needed. They coordinated the walk down the aisle, the music cues, the announcements, the special events throughout the wedding reception and more! Rebecca even loaded her car with all of the decorations and signage for the wedding and reception at the rehearsal. When we forgot to give her something else that needed to go, we simply called to let her know and she met us at the rehearsal dinner and picked it up! Now that is service!
The moral of the story is, give Red Letter Days a chance to make your day unforgettable too! They have great taste, a high level of professionalism, great problem solving skills, wonderful suggestions and they are a blast to work with as well!

Rebecca was the day-of coordinator for my wedding in Virginia. I consider myself a big "planner" but realized it would be insane for me to try to coordinate everything on the actual day of my wedding - I just wanted to enjoy everything and not have to worry. I can honestly say that Rebecca is probably one of the only people I know I would trust to coordinate because I know she would do just as good a job as I would do myself - and as it turned out - she did a better job than I would have done!
Two ways I knew that Rebecca had not only accomplished every task we had set out when planning that day's schedule, but had exceeded my expectations:
1) on the day of my wedding I did not worry ONCE about anything, at all, things just seemed to magically happen. In fact I don't think I really realized until sitting on the plane winging our way to our honeymoon destination - I thought "Gosh that went well, I didn't have to take care of one problem all day... of course, that's because we had Rebecca!"
2) after my wedding, when we returned from our honeymoon, and I would talk to friends and family about the day, and the conversation would go something like this... Me: "I thought it went well, don't you?" Friends/family: "Oh yes, and wow were you lucky to have Rebecca - she had everything totally in control!" They were amazed at the level of detail Rebecca attended to - down to the curtains in the reception room, she made sure they were all drawn in a certain way - not too open to let glaring sun in, not too closed so we couldn't see the Potomac River, all open in the same way.
I could go on and on, but as you can see I highly recommend Rebecca and Red Letter Days!

Becca & Mia provided outstanding service for our wedding, I can't recommend them enough. They provided day of coordination and went above and beyond in dealing with our vendors and venue manager. They arrived ahead of schedule and took over. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy our very special day with family and friends.
