Barbara Sent on 10/06/2017Once engaged in November 2016, I began searching for my dress. I knew I wanted tea length with a retro style so turned to Pinterest. I saw the DRESS after clicking onto multiple links - it was a Justin Alexander Dress (8881), so it brought me to PCB (Paris Connection Bridal). I called and Marie-Claude Gaudin answered and we spoke about this dress and that she would order it. I waited a month or so and got the call that it was in - yayyyy! Went with a friend and I knew the moment I saw it that this was it! The sample didn't fit, so an order was placed and was told up to 3 months or so I'd have it. Marie was so attentive, understands brides and is very knowledgeable with wedding attire - she had some AMAZING dresses in her shop, but I was not sidelined - I had my dress!
Day came for it to be in shop for my fitting and amazingly it fit PERFECTLY - zero alterations! Dream dress in hand, I took it to my incognito hiding spot at my neighbors house. Wedding day arrived, I walked down the isle to "oooh's, ahhh's and gasps!" My dream day was here and with the man of my dreams who was beyond himself when he saw me.

Courtney Sent on 09/10/2016I found Paris Connection online after searching for wedding dress shops in San Francisco and added it to my list of places to try on dresses with my family. When the day came, I went to several dress shops and was extremely unsuccessful before arriving at Paris Connection, and I can’t tell you what a relief it was finding a boutique store and owner like Marie. The hug she gave me, my mom and my sister immediately made us feel right at home. Right off the bat, I noticed that there was only one fitting room, and that I had the entire shop to myself. For the first time that day, after several other poor wedding dress shop experiences prior, I actually felt important and special, like a bride should when trying on the most important dress she will ever buy. When we told her what I was looking for, she grabbed every single dress she could think of that even remotely fit the description and put it in the fitting room. I never felt like I was in a time slot, that I could only try on so many dresses, that I would make her feel bad if I didn’t like it, etc. because Marie felt like family from the moment we walked into her shop. After I knew I found the dress I wanted to buy but felt to anxious about committing, she let us put the dress on hold with a deposit, one that if we didn’t end up buying the dress could be used towards anything in her shop (jewelry, veils, petticoats etc.) so I never felt pressured. Less than a week later, I showed up at her store after hours on special request so I could try it on again. Not only did Marie stay late for me, she let me try the dress on and hang out in it until I finally bit the bullet and bought it. After the purchase, Marie kept me in the loop about the delivery of my dress constantly. When it arrived, she was extremely flexible in scheduling all of my alteration appointments. Every Time I knew I would get to go into Paris Connection I was absolutely elated, and not just because I was going to try my dress on but because I would get -

Kristin Sent on 10/04/2011Paris Connection Bridal was my first stop in wedding dress shopping because it carried my favorite designer (Justin Alexander), and it turned out that Paris Connection was the only store I needed! The owner, Marie, was personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was kind, yet honest, about what might work with my body type and what might now work well. When I fell in love with the second dress that I tried on, she was patient enough to let me prance around in it for 45 minutes and did not push me to buy it. She even encouraged me to keep looking at other stores to see if there was anything that could beat that second dress. Nothing else even came close, and Marie ended up giving us a great deal on that dress! In fact, we were almost $1,000 UNDER our dress budget! I would definitely recommend Paris Connection Bridal to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding gown and a fun shopping experience! -

Alexandra Sent on 09/24/2008Marie is amazing! She is a woman who knows women! She knows what styles look good on what shapes and how to bring out one's personal style in their wedding day look! She had me try on a few looks that were a little "out there" for fun, but it all paid off when we found "the dress!" Not only did we find the dress there, but Marie also makes beautiful jewelry and hair pieces that would amaze anyone. We also found my hair clip that accentuated the dress perfectly.
Marie is a delight to work with...and has an extensive collection of dresses, shoes, jewelry, veils, and under-garments. She is a must see in the hunt for the perfect gown!

Olivia Sent on 01/07/2016We had a great time in Marie's shop! It was our last of the day, and to be honest I didn't expect to find anything at all. Marie was ready for us to arrive and made sure to keep my budget front of mind, which I appreciated. Also, during my appointment her shop was closed to anyone else trying to come in, which was also nice. My party and my self could browse comfortably with 100% of Marie's attention! Marie was also very honest with her opinions of how the various dresses looked on me and if she thought it fit my body type, again, something I appreciated. When I tried on "the dress", the whole room changed—I knew it was the one! My party was quiet, my mom and aunt started crying, it was sort of a magical experience. Something I don't think I would have gotten at a busy shop with several brides. If you are looking for a wedding dress in the bay area, Marie's shop is definitely worth a stop!
