Le Caprice is a premiere Bridal Boutique in Silicon Valley and has been a part of the San Francisco Bay Area wedding industry since 1998. We are a business built on over 30 years of experience, dedication, and the expertise of owner Marina Konnikova. Marina's natural talent for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, keen eye for detail, and years of experience ensures that your dress will perfectly fit your figure and individuality. Marina Konnikova is the owner and founder of Le Caprice. Her Bridal Alterations Boutique is built on over 30 years of experience and her own natural talent for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Growing up in Russia, Marina was influenced by her Grandmother, a talented dressmaker who introduced her to the world of fashion and dressmaking. Hard work, dedication to her craft, and innate talent led Marina to work at one of the top Bay Area bridal boutiques, where she quickly became head of alterations. It was on this foundation that Marina was able to open her own business, and in 2009, Le Caprice Bridal Alterations Boutique was established.

Our specialty at Le Caprice is Wedding Gowns, but our boutique stocks a variety of Mother of the Bride/Special Occasion Dresses and catalogs for special orders. We also provide alteration services for Event Gowns and have a wonderful selection of Bridal Accessories, including veils, belts, sashes, jewelry, and headpieces.

The Best Bridal Seamstress in the Bay Area
The dress was hemmed to fit my height at 5'2, which involved hemming the dress from the waist to avoid removing the beautiful floral lace design at the bottom of the dress. Marina amazingly removed and then resewed the lace at the waistline, and I could not even tell that the lace was resewn.
In addition to hemming the dress, Marina also added a 5-point bustle that allowed me to easily move and dance in my dress all night after the ceremony. My cousin, who bustled my dress the day of, said this was the easiest dress she had ever bustled.
Marina also did some adjustments to the bust area of my dress and replaced the thin spaghetti straps that originally came with my dress with a set of floral lace straps that were much more supportive and beautiful.
And lastly, Marina also tailored the bolero to fit me perfectly! The bolero was made of extremely thin and delicate lace fabric, and Marina did a phenomenal job tailoring it to fit my frame.
If you are looking for someone to alter your wedding dress, Marina and her team at Le Caprice will do an amazing job. I would not trust anyone else to work with my dress. Thank you, Marina!
