Had a smaller budget for a dress and walked in and did not see anything on the racks in my price range. But when I got in the room and told her what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend, she found the absolute perfect dress! Having a private room with your friends and family makes the experience that much more special.

I could have purchased the same dress where I live, but because I liked this store so much I decided to go with Charlotte's. The sales rep was so attentive and sweet. They definitely make you feel special and have a great variety of dresses too!
The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the measurement process. According to the measurements they took I should order a dress 2 sizes larger than the sample dress I tried on. Since the sample dress fit, but was just a tad snug I understood, but it seemed the next size up would be most appropriate. I protested and went for a size smaller than suggested and signed their agreement clearing them of responsibility. Had I gone with the size suggested my dress would have been taken in 4"+ instead of 2" on each side. My dress was still too big in certain areas, like the chest and the seamstress could not alter it unless she took the whole dress apart. My mom had the same experience when trying on MOB dresses. According to the measurements they took she should order a size 12, 3 sizes larger than the dress she tried on. I understand it's easier to take a dress in rather than out, but the sizing should be monitored a little more closely to avoid such dramatic alterations.

The initial lady I worked with to find my wedding dress was phenomenal and very accomodating. After that it kind of went downhill. My bridesmaids had a difficult time with the staff finding their order as well as finding who the order was associated with. Same thing happened with my mom buying a dress. They could not find my paperwork for a while and was not going to give the discount that we were told we would get without the paperwork. In the end it was found and all was good, but just another thing to be stressed about.

I feel that all 5 stars on each of these categories is true! The ladies at Charlotte's are amazingly nice, helpful and a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process! I called in a couple of times regarding the bridesmaid dresses and whomever answered the phone was more than helpful. I bought my wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses there and would highly recommend them. Charlotte's is definitely the place to go!

I actually found the dress that I fell in love with at a different bridal shop. However, my experience searching for the perfect gown was so incredible at Charlotte's that I called to see if they had the gown and bought from them. Corinne was incredibly helpful and I am so thankful that I decided to buy my dress, shoes, and veil from them! Definitely recommend Charlotte's for all bridal needs!!

SUZANNE IS AWESOME! After going to several places trying to find my dress, we went to Charllotts to try again.. Suzanne there had me in my dress in the first thirty minutes! she was amazing. and because I lived out of town she was super helpful with trying to get me in at last moments notice... All the girls here were super helpful and nice. I really cant say enough good things about charlotts and suzanne. the only thing that was kind of frustrating is that when i would try to email suzanne someone else would email me back. oh well tho!

The alterations lady they set me up with was another story. Loraine Huey, called and cancled my appointment two weeks before the wedding when i had been on her schedual for a month. Seriously un professional. But thats ok i found someone great and local to do my dress.

I felt like a princess in the gown we purchased from Charlottes. The sales girl met with us several times, and brought in many beautiful gowns in my price range and style until we found the right one. They are extremely kind and professional at this lovely shop. Both my sister and I have purchased our gowns from Charlottes, and we couldn't have been more pleased. To have people begging to know where you found such a beautiful dress on your wedding day is a great feeling! :)

My tuxedo was exactly what I had envisioned myself in. It was classy, and elegant, and I have to say looked good one me! The folks at Charlottes were more than accommodating for myself, and the rest of the folks in the party. My bride looked stunningly beautiful as well (but she tends to look that way all the time) however our wedding day, she was glowingly beautiful!!!

We not only bought my dress and veil from Charlotte's but my husband and all the groomsmen rented their tux's through them as well.

The day I bought my dress everyone was so helpful and amazing. You get your own LARGE dressing room, with big comfy chairs for your family and friends to sit it in while you try on dresses. I had tried on a ton of dresses by the time I finally made it to Charlotte's, and they by far had the best prices and best service of anywhere I went.

The one downside the we had was getting in my veil and dress. Originally my dress and veil were supposed to be in first week of March. When I hadnt heard from them by the second week I called to check in, they still hadnt received either. While my dress ended up coming in at the end of the second week my veil was another story. It took another three weeks for my veil to come in and when I called, they told me that the designer (who is a local Portland designer) was usually always late getting them their orders. It worked out fine since I wasnt getting married until June, but it was frustrating that they chose to carry a designer they knew wasnt a punctual person.

I was going to be 7 months pregnant during my wedding. I went into charlottes weddings and they had the perfect dress for me. It was the first dress they showed me that was the one! I only had 4 months until my wedding when I bought the dress. They put my dress on rush. They said it would get there until april and I got my dress in march. I was very excited.

Make sure you shop here if looking for a dress They didn't have much in the way of the wedding party or for my mother, but they had a huge selection of beautiful dresses for the bride. I received much help, although often the sales ladies were rude.
