From the moment I arrived—early in the morning—I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who greeted me and my guests with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. The boutique itself is stunning, and the private fitting room I was placed in was absolutely beautiful. My stylist, Alyssa, was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire appointment. Although I was a bit shy at first, she created a comfortable, fun atmosphere that allowed me to relax and truly enjoy the experience. Alyssa helped me pull dresses that matched my vision perfectly, while also encouraging me to try on a few options outside of my comfort zone. She also helped me see my whole vision by grabbing veils and sleeves for me to try on which was so helpful. To my surprise, I fell in love with a gown that was very different from what I had originally imagined—and it ended up being the one I said YES to!

Wow!! This place met my wildest dreams. I didn’t believe the “right dress feeling” was a thing until Jordan put me in the first dress she picked out for me from the style ideas I gave her. She was AMAZING! So fun, friendly, and ready to dream by my side. After a long day of dress shopping I was tired and losing energy, but within minutes True Society, and Jordan, who I got to work with really put ALL the pep back in my step! I said yes to the dress with an amazing team of women by my side. Shout out to Jordan, Emily, and the whole team!

Incredibly happy that we booked at The White Dress. Their selection is absolutely amazing, I love their private suites, and the service was fantastic. They have a huge selection with a variety of dresses and sizes making it so much easier to decide on what you want. This is the BEST place to come for a dress in Portland if you're plus-sized and have a budget in the $1000 - $2500+ range. It's the only shop I wanted to go to and fully intended to find my dress the first time there to take advantage of their 15% off deal.

Genna was fabulous and made the dress-buying experience feel comfortable instead of daunting like I imagined it would. She had great ideas on what would work based on my preferences and tight timeline. I feel grateful to have had a bridal stylist with such expertise as Genna.

Morning weekday fitting was the way to go, as the downtown parking was a breeze. My sisters and I enjoyed the complimentary champagne they poured us and felt very pampered in their upscale shop. You don't have to be fancy to go to this fancy af bridal boutique, but you will be sure to find a dress you fancy.

I had a few ideas of what I wanted for a dress, but I had no idea what would look good on me. The associate that helped me when I got my dress was amazing. I found my dress after only trying on 4 dresses. One thing I will mention is to double check the length when you go in and pick up your dress and try it on. They measured me and ordered my dress knowing I was going to wear flats. When I picked up the dress, it felt a little long, but I'm not an expert and I don't know how long they are supposed to be. They told me it was the right length for flats, so I signed off saying it was the right length. When I took it in for alterations, the woman there said it was WAY too long. I would have to wear 3-inch heels for it to be the right length! I then had to pay over $300 just to hem the dress. So make sure when you pick up your dress that it is the right length before you sign for it. That being said, I would still 100% recommend them when looking for a wedding dress.

Best Advice - bring your man. My fiance didn't want to see me in the dress initially, but it was so overwhelming and my gf's all liked different things. This dress is for HIM, I want him to love it on me. It ended up being so much easier with him there, such a fun experience for us both.

We had Carly helping us and she bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we wanted, that we felt super comfortable, that this dress and this experience be amazing. Everything about this big endeavor was made perfect by her and we are super appreciative. Would highly recommend!

Dream wedding dress. Took longer then usual to get, communication was a little difficult. But given the year 2020 has been completely understandable. My dress was a show stopper!
