The White Dress is Amazing!

I highly recommend **True Society by The White Dress** to anyone searching for an exceptional wedding dress shopping experience and high-quality gowns. From the moment I arrived—early in the morning—I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who greeted me and my guests with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. The boutique itself is stunning, and the private fitting room I was placed in was absolutely beautiful. My stylist, Alyssa, was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire appointment. Although I was a bit shy at first, she created a comfortable, fun atmosphere that allowed me to relax and truly enjoy the experience. Alyssa helped me pull dresses that matched my vision perfectly, while also encouraging me to try on a few options outside of my comfort zone. She also helped me see my whole vision by grabbing veils and sleeves for me to try on which was so helpful. To my surprise, I fell in love with a gown that was very different from what I had originally imagined—and it ended up being the one I said YES to!

The staff at True Society is amazing. Super professional and knowledgeable about the dresses. Also, asks lots of questions and makes the experience personable. My Little Fairytale With Friends

Wow!! This place met my wildest dreams. I didn’t believe the “right dress feeling” was a thing until Jordan put me in the first dress she picked out for me from the style ideas I gave her. She was AMAZING! So fun, friendly, and ready to dream by my side. After a long day of dress shopping I was tired and losing energy, but within minutes True Society, and Jordan, who I got to work with really put ALL the pep back in my step! I said yes to the dress with an amazing team of women by my side. Shout out to Jordan, Emily, and the whole team!

Best experience ever!

Incredibly happy that we booked at The White Dress. Their selection is absolutely amazing, I love their private suites, and the service was fantastic. They have a huge selection with a variety of dresses and sizes making it so much easier to decide on what you want. I was also able to customize my dress with no issues whatsoever and it turned out amazingly. I received so many compliments on my dress and felt amazing in it. Highly recommend this boutique to anyone wedding dress shopping!

Superb shopping experience

This is the BEST place to come for a dress in Portland if you're plus-sized and have a budget in the $1000 - $2500+ range. It's the only shop I wanted to go to and fully intended to find my dress the first time there to take advantage of their 15% off deal.

Genna was fabulous and made the dress-buying experience feel comfortable instead of daunting like I imagined it would. She had great ideas on what would work based on my preferences and tight timeline. I feel grateful to have had a bridal stylist with such expertise as Genna.

Morning weekday fitting was the way to go, as the downtown parking was a breeze. My sisters and I enjoyed the complimentary champagne they poured us and felt very pampered in their upscale shop. You don't have to be fancy to go to this fancy af bridal boutique, but you will be sure to find a dress you fancy.

Super helpful

I had a few ideas of what I wanted for a dress, but I had no idea what would look good on me. The associate that helped me when I got my dress was amazing. I found my dress after only trying on 4 dresses. One thing I will mention is to double check the length when you go in and pick up your dress and try it on. They measured me and ordered my dress knowing I was going to wear flats. When I picked up the dress, it felt a little long, but I'm not an expert and I don't know how long they are supposed to be. They told me it was the right length for flats, so I signed off saying it was the right length. When I took it in for alterations, the woman there said it was WAY too long. I would have to wear 3-inch heels for it to be the right length! I then had to pay over $300 just to hem the dress. So make sure when you pick up your dress that it is the right length before you sign for it. That being said, I would still 100% recommend them when looking for a wedding dress.

From beginning to end, an amazing experience!

Best Advice - bring your man. My fiance didn't want to see me in the dress initially, but it was so overwhelming and my gf's all liked different things. This dress is for HIM, I want him to love it on me. It ended up being so much easier with him there, such a fun experience for us both.

We had Carly helping us and she bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we wanted, that we felt super comfortable, that this dress and this experience be amazing. Everything about this big endeavor was made perfect by her and we are super appreciative. Would highly recommend!

Ok ! Let me start by asking you this. Never worn a dress your entire life? Not even sure what you are looking for? All you have is a budget and need a dress. Stop by and find Cassie !! She is the real mvp. Soo freaking fantastic. I thought I was gonna take days/months before I find my dress. But Cassie she is effortless and does the best job to know what you want and what’s your style. 1.5hours later I had finalized my dress!! She really understands your need and your style and most importantly makes sure you look the best on your wedding day. Her guidance and effort towards tailoring my style and needs was just impressive. She understood me from my expression and body language. She is a real gem!! ❤️ so grateful she could help me pick my Dress!! 😃 more over I had a blast!! She is knows how to have a good time. Buying a wedding dress can be stressful and she just breezed me through this. Cassie!! You the best.

I live in Washington state, and I randomly came across an instagram post of theirs on the explore page. I looked through and there were so many beautiful dresses! I saw they were having a sample sale on the upcoming weekend, and they ended up having a slot open for me (yay!). I drove down with my friend, and we were matched with Carly Rose. She was absolutely AMAZING. The first dress I tried on was almost the one! However, after a few rounds of trying on more dresses, she came back with a darker moscato colored dress that she thought I might like. I was a little hesitant, but I was blown away when I tried it on! Bought it on the spot and haven't stopped smiling since! Everyone at the shop was so sweet and fun to be around, and I can't wait to wear my dress on my big day!

Wonderful Experience!

The White Dress was the perfect place to find and purchase my wedding dress. The staff is welcoming and go above and beyond to make you feel special. Catherine was my bridal stylist and she was the absolute best! She was attentive to my vision and pulled awesome recommendations. I ended up picking the second dress we found :) She was sweet and made me feel so comfortable and special. I also asked about a million questions and she was so patient and helpful in answering all of them and giving me her professional opinions. Helped me get exactly what I wanted

I swear they had a sixth sense about what I wanted. I tried to go the safe route with an A-line because I knew it would be flattering but I secretly wanted a mermaid but didn't think they would ever fit right on me. She insisted she could show me dresses that would fit and she was totally right, I am completely in love with my dress! Such a good experience.

Wonderful experience at The White Dress Portland!

My experience at The White Dress was great! The very talented Nancy Carroll helped me out. Nancy is incredible! I highly recommend you book an appointment with Nancy at The White Dress to have an amazing wedding dress shopping experience! Nancy will help you find the one! I am very indecisive. I second guess myself if I don’t look at all the options. I went to probably 15 wedding dress stores, both in Seattle and Portland. The White Dress has a great collection of designers, styles, & reasonable price range. If I had to do it all over, I would only go to The White Dress. The experience & dress collection was much better than anywhere else I went. If you purchase a dress during your first appointment you will get 15% off & being in Portland there is no sales tax (which is over 10% in Seattle). The long drive to Portland was definitely worth it! Below is a more detailed description of my experience…

I went to my appointment with family & friends. We were greeted with champagne & asked to fill out a form which asked wedding date, budget, style, etc. Some reviews have remarked that they did not like filling this form again, since it was filled out when booking the appointment. I found it helpful since I had been dress shopping between booking & actual appointment so my budget & style had changed. We were then shown to a private room where we could set our belongings & drinks down. The beautifully decorated room consisted of a sofa, 2 chairs, a coffee table, large mirror, & a pedestal to stand on so the dress will fall correctly. There is a separate area for changing. Next, we were taken out to the main area. Nancy explained how the dresses were organized. She was quick to answer any questions I had about the designers or styles. Nancy had me pick out about 5 dresses that I liked so she could get a feel for what my style was. I needed to get a dress that could be a rush order. Nancy knew which dress could be rushed so I didn’t try on something that I couldn’t order. We then went back to the private room to try on the dresses. I am sensitive about my body & don’t like others helping me change (I dreaded wedding dress shopping which is why I needed a rush order). Nancy was very discreet & soon made me feel completely comfortable! She asked me about my wedding and never rushed me. I tried on multiple dresses. Nancy asked me what I liked about each dress. She really listened to me, even when I was having a hard time explaining why a dress wasn’t perfect for me. After I tried the ones I had picked out, Nancy picked out some for me to try. Nancy was great about staying within my budget & ordering timeframe. Nancy said she had a dress that she thought would be perfect for me & would work well at my wedding venue, but it was different from what I had tried on before. I tried it on & was shocked at how good it looked on me. It was different from what I thought I wanted in a wedding dress. I would never have picked it out by myself. My friends told me that I looked great in the dress & it was my style. I still was unsure since it was so different. I tried on more dresses that Nancy had picked out. They were all lovely & more along the style I thought I wanted. Nancy is very knowledgeable about what the store carries & what looks good on her clients. The dresses Nancy picked out worked better than the ones I picked. Nancy was super patient & let me try on dresses multiple times. I have a hard time deciding. She let me know that she didn’t have an appointment after me, so we could run long (we took advantage of that). I tried on the first dress Nancy had picked out again. She suggested that I try it with a veil since I had told her that I was going to wear my mom’s veil. It looked great with a veil, but I still wasn’t totally convinced. Then Nancy asked if she could try something. She added drop sleeves. It was perfect!! I would never have thought of adding the sleeves. Nancy was able to add extra panels of lace to the dress order so a seamstress could make drop sleeves out of lace that matched the dress. I ended up facetimeing my mom to show her the dress :) Now I have a wedding dress ordered that is more perfect than I had envisioned. I owe it all to Nancy! I would have never thought of it on my own. Nancy also said she would make sure my dress was running on time and I didn’t need to worry about it anymore, she would take care of it. I fully trust that she will! Thank you so much Nancy!!!

You won't regret choosing The White Dress!

Went to The White Dress for one of their trunk shows in December and I'm so happy I did! I found the the wedding dress of my dreams and had the most memorable and enjoyable experience; it was more perfect than I could've imagined. I had a 1.5 hour appointment in one of the larger bridal suites for myself, 5 of my girlfriends, and my mom. Upon arriving, they provided us with complimentary champagne for a toast! My bridal stylist, Catherine, was so helpful in pulling dresses off the rack and helping me in them! She gave me great advice about different dress styles, helped me reason through what did and didn't work for me, and didn't judge me when I asked her to help me into my now wedding dress for the 3rd time! When I finally said yes to my dress, she brought out another round of champagne to toast, and let me wear my dress for the next hour while I FaceTimed my future mother-in-law and sister-in-laws, and celebrated with my friends. found just the right dress for me

It was the typical story, I had been to 4 dress stores already. I tried on a bunch of dresses that were OK. After the last dress, my staff person said the fateful words "Hold on, I just have one more thing I want you to try." Of course it was the perfect dress for me. The staff respected my budget, were kind, and didn't pressure me to make a decision. I was kind of dreading shopping in traditional stores but the staff at The White Dress really made my family and I feel welcome and comfortable.

I bought my dress from The White Dress in 2017. I am so glad I went there! It was the only store I went to and I had no intentions of getting my dress at the first store I looked at. However, the staff at The White Dress were INCREDIBLE. They made me and my family feel so welcomed and I felt like I was royalty. I was really impressed with the location and the reasonable prices for the dresses. The rooms were nice and I enjoyed how each section was a little separate and more intimate. They helped me made customizations to my dress and made some great recommendations for alterations. If you need to find your bridal gown, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out The White Dress first!!

I had an amazing experience at the White Dress! Kelly helped me and she was so patient and asked the right questions! I found a dress that I never thought I would want but fell in love all because Kelly helped me try what I wanted and also other styles just in case! My dress arrived early and they steamed and has a fitting to make sure it was exactly what I wanted! Definitely go and try dresses on here! The White Dress was the second (and last!) bridal boutique I visited when looking for a dress in Portland. I had initially found this salon when I came across a dress by Kitty Chen, when browsing wedding dress images on Instagram. The White Dress is one of a few salons that carries dresses from her collections so I went ahead and booked an appointment.
My first appointment was with another Portland salon (I won't share the name) and it was less than thrilling. Although I had filled out a long questionnaire about what I was looking for, what I had envisioned for my wedding, etc., I had to run back through all of this information and then spent most of my appointment stuck in one specific style of dress - that I wasn't thrilled with. I was worried that my appointment at The White Dress would go the same way. But I was very wrong!
From the moment I stepped into The White Dress, the appointment was better than expected. We worked with Tara, who was wonderful! It was very clear that she had thoroughly read through all of the questions I had answered and had ideas of dresses to put me in, prior to my arrival. To start the appointment, my mom, myself and each of my bridesmaids were invited to browse the collection of dresses and pick a few for me to try on. This was awesome! It gave us each a chance to pick out different things we liked, so that everyone's opinions and styles could be heard (and tried on). Even better - it's how we found my dress!
Tara went above and beyond - while my MOH, mother, and bridesmaids all selected dresses for me to try on, Tara pulled dresses that were similar to the one I had fallen in love with online, and went on a mission to find another dress I had fallen in love with on the salon's site. She was knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful to work with. She was full of ideas and had a great eye for what looked good on my figure. I can't thank her enough for making that appointment as wonderful and special as it was. Thank you, thank you!

Krystle was the stylist I had when I visited The White Dress! She was amazing and I couldn't have imagined a better experience, truly!!!! I only tried on 8 dresses total and she helped me find the one for me. It wasn't exactly what I originally thought I would want when I went in surprisingly. Krystle took the description of what I wanted and gave me other options that were similar as well to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted and that I wouldn't have any regrets! It worked out wonderfully and she helped me nail down the dress when at one point I had four that I felt like no one could make me choose between! She asked the right questions to help me choose between them and she had great prompts for when I got to a point where I felt stuck. Stepping out of our bridal suite and walking in the hallway of the store made a huge difference in how I looked and saw myself in the dress, so take advantage of that! Originally I was told that the appointments were about an hour and a half long, but I ended up staying 3 hours total and never felt rushed or pushed and enjoyed every minute of it.

Also, as a bonus to buying your dress the first time shopping at The White Dress, I got 15% off for purchasing that day which saved me a couple hundred dollars.

I am so happy I went to The White Dress to find my wedding dress! Their dress selection was fantastic and the staff was so welcoming from the moment we walked in. I worked with Kelly to find my dress and she was amazing! She was so sweet and really listened to what I was hoping to look like on my wedding day. I tried on the first dress I'd chosen and loved the top, I tried on the second dress I'd chosen and loved the bottom, and then Kelly pulled the most perfect dress that combined everything I loved from the first two. We were in and out in 45 minutes because of the great service and selection :) With a few minor alterations (adding sleeves and removing a scalloped portion of lace on the bodice) it was the dress I've been dreaming of my whole life!

Wonderful to work with. They welcomed my family with me to try on dresses and made the experience so comfortable. Shayla was amazing to work with and helped me find the perfect gown for our special day. The prices were reasonable and they had a great variety of dresses and accessories for brides and bridal parties.

I worked with Shayla at the White Dress to find my wedding dress. I scheduled an appointment and was in and out in less than hour. I tried on about 7 or 8 dresses and found a dress that was no where near what I thought I would get, but I am SO happy with what I chose. The price point was well within my budget and the White Dress gives a 10% discount if you purchase a dress during your first appointment (no leaving the store to "think about it"). My future sister-in-law also went to the White Dress and I ran into Shayla (she remembered me!) and gave me an update on how my dress was coming along. It came in earlier than expected, which was great. I got so many compliments on my dress throughout my wedding and I am sad I won't wear it again!

The White Dress made my dress shopping experience absolutely PERFECT. My group had a room all to ourselves with a private dressing room, too--and a beautiful room, at that! The entire boutique is gorgeous. All the bridal specialists there are so sweet and professional. Krystle listened to exactly what I was looking for and respected my budget--she pulled THE dress for me. It made me feel like she really heard what I wanted. I couldn't have been more impressed with The White Dress, but then after visiting other gown boutiques, I realized they blew everyone else out of the water. Can't recommend them highly enough!

This bridal dress shop was absolutely incredible, and so willing to accommodate me in every way! My dress appointment was incredible, with a stylist who really paid attention to what I wanted in a dress, while staying true to my price point. Once I had found my dress, they let my family take multiple pictures, a practice I feel most shops don't do. To top it off, my dress came in almost three months earlier than promised, and it barely needs alterations (I got a custom length, highly recommend). They were so understanding when I called in a panic saying I would be late for an appointment due to traffic. All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place for every bride! It was above and beyond my expectations for service, quality, and overall experience! Happy bride :) BTW Nancy was my consultant and she is just the sweetest girl ever!!!

The White Dress was my savior! I originally bought my dress from Davids Bridal before I moved to Oregon. My experience with them was the worst and they ended up ruining my dress with alterations and sizing issues 2 weeks before my wedding. I called The White Dress to see if there was anything they could do for me, and I was able to get an appt within a few days of my call. I can't remember the woman's name who helped me, but she was supportive and did everything she could to help me find not just a replacement dress, but a dress that made me feel beautiful and that was 1000x better than my original. We had a 1920s themed wedding, which makes finding the perfect dress even more difficult. The few sample dresses they had would not have been able to be altered and repaired in time for the wedding so she called the owner and worked it out for me to be able to find something off the rack. I found the most incredible dress! They even held the dress until I was able to reach one of their recommended alterations companies to ensure I would be able to get it altered in time. If it wasn't for The White Dress, I don't know if I would have felt as beautiful and happy on my wedding day. So thank you! I highly recommend them :)

The White Dress Bridal Boutique was my third and last bridal shop I visited. I heard about The White Dress from my coworker where her friend got her wedding dress there as well. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was greeted with smiles and offered champagne or other beverage options. I felt comfortable even though the waiting area started to get full or busy with other bridal groups arriving for their appointment. My group however was small - I brought my mom and maid of honor along. We didn't have to wait very long until Shayla introduced herself as my bridal stylist during my appointment that day and soon brought us back into one of the smaller dressing room area where it was a bit more quiet and comfortable for one on one consultation. Shayla listened to where I am at with my budget for my wedding dress and she also listened on what style of dresses I liked. Soon after myself, my mom and maid of honor, along with Shayla started to look at the dresses I was interested in trying on. I already knew in mind I wanted an a-line dress so that's what we focused on. I ended up trying about 5 different a-line style dresses and narrowed it down to 3 then down to 2, until I ended up loving the dress that I ended up saying "yes" to. It fit perfectly with what I was wanting - simple yet beautiful and elegant. All throughout my appointment Shayla was really awesome to work with! Very down to earth, listens to you, not at all pushy and really cares about your input as the bride. As a bride that already knew what I wanted definitely made the appointment at ease, of course with Shayla's help. I can’t say enough about The White Dress! I happened to be in Portland with my mom for a conference and we decided to go wedding dress shopping. We stopped by The White Dress and were able to make an appointment for later that day. The staff was so wonderful and treated us like royalty. It was so nice to have our own private room and staff member to help us through trying on dresses. Krystle was my stylist and did a wonderful job helping me pick a dress. She not only asked questions to get to know what I was looking for but she also paid attention to me when I tried on a dress to see how I reacted and if I was comfortable in it. After falling in love with a dress I was worried I wouldn’t be able to purchase it since I live in Virginia, but they were able to ship the dress from the shop to my house! To top off the wonderful experience I was able to get my dress, veil, and shipping from Oregon to Virginia for was under my budget! I would recommend The White Dress to anyone! The staff is so wonderful and they go out of their way to make sure you not only find a dress that you love, but also have the best experience possible.

Krystle at The White Dress is awesome!! She was so helpful and truly knows what she's talking about. The White Dress has a beautiful space and they make you feel at home by providing you your own private suite area, unlike other bridal salons that put you with everyone else. I had a group come with me and we all felt so comfortable and welcome and were even given champagne to help celebrate the occasion! So much fun and I would definitely recommend going to The White Dress to find your wedding gown! - and if you get to work with Krystle you'll most definitely be in great hands!!! :)

I cannot say enough good things about The White Dress! As a plus size bride, I was worried that I would feel awful about my body in this boutique full of glamorous sample size dresses. That could not be further from the truth! Krystle was my stylist and she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The shop is so beautiful; very clean, elegant, and classy. You’re immediately greeted by their friendly staff and offered champagne before you’re escorted to your private bridal room.

Felisha was my consultant and she was so friendly and really took the time to ask questions and get to know me. She quickly had a great understanding of the look I was going for and she had creative solutions for modifications to make some of the dresses fit my vision. She was also very mindful of my budget which was really appreciated. I am so indecisive and never thought I would say yes to a dress after only 1 appointment at 1 shop, but it was easy here! Felisha was so patient with me and never made me feel pressured to make a decision. I ended up finding an amazing Stella York gown that was totally different from what I imagined myself in but I am so in love and can’t wait for it to arrive!

I can’t rave enough about my experience at The White Dress. You can get the experience you’ve always dreamed of, regardless of your budget. Thank you to Felisha and the rest of the staff for giving me the most magical, memorable experience!

I went to the White Dress when I was first engaged and tried on dresses with Shayla. She was so sweet and not at all pushy which was great because I was not at all ready to make a decision. A few months later we went back to Shayla and she was amazing. She listened to budget and what I liked and didn't like. She was extremely patient as I face timed my mom and tried on two dresses over and over again! She made my dress buying experience really easy and she was really understanding. I was not looking forward to dress buying but I think Shayla made the experience as good as it could have been with her patience and calm nature! I cannot express enough how I credit this positive experience to Shayla's personality and nature.

What a WONDERFUL experience!!

This was the first appointment I had made to look at wedding dresses and ended up also being my last! My mom, 4 of my bridesmaids and myself came to The White Dress two weekends ago to look for my wedding dress. When we arrived to the store there were quite a few people in there already but we were still greeted warmly and with champagne and friendly faces! It didn't take them long to escort us back to our BEAUTIFUL bridal suite, big enough for all of us and equipped with adorable couches, chairs and even a chandelier! I was assigned Krystle as my bridal consultant and I couldn't have been happier! She was amazing at picking out exactly what I didn't like about certain dresses and use that information to find the perfect dress for me! She was very patient with me and my bridesmaids and allowed me to try on certain dresses several times to make sure that they weren't the one. When I did find the perfect dress, Krystle allowed us time to celebrate and take pictures before taking measurements and all the other necessary stuff. The best part was that my dress was WAY under budget but still looked WAY over budget!

I would recommend The White Dress to anyone and if you get a choice ask for Krystle because she was absolutely amazing!!

Im a couple months late writing my review, but i had such a great experience and i found my perfect dress!! Shetawn was my stylist, she was very sweet, professional, and helpful. They have a large selection and prices for any budget. I also loved how accommodating they are for bringing along your friends and the complimentary champagne was a nice touch :) I cant wait to pick up my dress!

I had such a great experience with this boutique! They were the last shop I visited while searching for my wedding dress and it was so worth the wait. The store is absolutely beautiful and felt like everything a dress shopping experience should be. The selection they had was great, and I was lucky enough to be there on the day they were having a trunk show of a designer I loved. I worked with a few stylists there and they were all wonderful! They were super helpful and accommodating with any questions I needed from the time I got there to when I picked up the dress. I absolutely loved this place!

The White Dress Bridal Boutique is an awesome place to shop for a wedding gown! While I was visiting (I’m from Chicago) Oregon with a future bridesmaid, who resides in Portland, she thought it would be a great idea to try on dresses (my first time!). We called The White Dress at 4:45pm and they were able to get us in at 5:00pm! I could not believe it. When we walked in, they offered us champagne and showed us towards our beautiful “suite”. Shetawn was my bridal stylist and she was super fun, down to earth, and understanding. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. She completely understood what I was looking for in a dress and made me feel extra beautiful! I greatly appreciate her taking the time to work with me, assist me with trying on wedding dresses for the first time, and being understanding of my situation! I wasn't planning on buying my dress since my Mom couldn't come to the appointment with me, but in the end I said yes to a beautiful dress! The store itself is very nicely decorated, pretty rooms, plenty of space, privacy, and all the employees were fantastic. I worked with Shetawn and she made my experience so nice and fun. I absolutely loved this place! Kelly was my consultant and she was amazing! I had a rather large party with me (7 other people) and Kelly balanced their opinions and mine very well. The White Dress accommodated for such a large party by providing us with their larger private room and had no problem with them bringing party favors. Being a private bridal boutique their selection of dresses seem smaller than most but the quality and style of the dresses were absolutely perfect! I had a smaller budget and a very specific description in mind, Kelly found it for me with no problem! Even if for some reason the dress for you is not here, the experience alone was nothing short of perfect!

This place was incredible. The gorgeous shop, private rooms, and champagne made me feel like a princess! Carly listened to my vision and picked out some wonderful dresses. She then sent my mother, the groom's mother, and I to go look through the rest of their selection to see if any spoke to us that she hadn't already chosen. She made sure to keep us within our budget. I actually loved this part because I ended up choosing a dress that was a little different than what I thought I wanted. I never would have found it had she not sent us to poke through their collection. Carly treated all three of us with the utmost respect and made me feel truly beautiful. The White Dress also offers a discount if you buy the dress on your first visit! Some reviewers have said that they felt pressured because of this, but it was not the case for me. It was definitely an added bonus, because I knew I wanted my dress as soon as I put it on. They also gave me some vendor suggestions that were super helpful. I will definitely recommend The White Dress to all of my friends!

My experience at The White Dress was so wonderful. After a long and exhausting day of dress shopping, The White Dress was my last stop. From the moment you walk in, from the staff to the decor, they make you feel so special. Champaign in hand, my mom, friends and I were able to browse the selection of dresses they had, as well as taking suggestions from my bridal stylist, Krystle. By this time I had been there, done that and new what styles I liked. Krystle was so incredible and could basically read my mind. My party and I had our own dressing suite, complete with a couch and wall-to-wall mirror. I was able to make a confirm, no doubt about it decision after 4 or 5 dresses. It was a dress with a combination of everything that the other dresses at the previous 3 shops had been lacking. Funny thing is, I even passed by this dress, but it was Krystle who said I should try it on. Because I said yes to the dress at that time, they also gave me 10% off! Such an added bonus. The White Dress is my #1 recommendation for brides in the Portland, OR area... or even from out of town (I live in Spokane, WA).

I was dreading finding the right dress (as many brides often do). I had been to two other places and this one finally had the atmosphere that I had been looking for in a con7venient downtown location without the pushy sales people or cattle-call feel I had elsewhere. Shayla at The White Dress made this process painless and exciting. She was great at keeping me on track and remembering the points I had told her in the beginning when I tried to stray and we ended up with exactly what I had been wanting. She followed up with one of the sweetest thank you cards I have ever received in my life and kept on top of the ordering process for me. Everything came in right on time, despite my not having given as much time as many vendors expect in this industry. I would recommend Shayla and The White Dress to anyone looking for a wedding dress in Portland or who could easily make it here. One thing that would have been neat is a Polaroid or digital picture taken by them with the cute sign they have. Still 5 stars!

I got to work with Krystle and she was amazing!! She was so helpful and really took the time to listen to what was working and wasn't working for me with each of the dresses. She stayed really positive and never tried to pressure me to buy anything! The store is beautiful and really helps make you feel like you matter with your own fitting room suite. Shayla was confident, fun and friendly to work with, and from what I saw, almost every consultant there is the same way. She read my personality, and worked hard for me to find the right dress. Even though she let me and my entourage pick out a few dresses, I insisted she find something for me, and what she picked was ultimately what I fell in love with.
These wedding consultants are knowledgeable and definitely work hard to give you that confidence boost you need. I wont lie, they are all 100% there for the sale, and while that isn't something I am a fan of, I respect it. There are other boutiques that wont push you to buy right then and there, so if you aren't comfortable with the hard sell or saying no, shop around before you visit The White Dress.
But PLEASE go to the White Dress and see what they have to offer, it is well worth the visit!

I had an appointment with Felecia in early January and let me just saw...WOW! You walk in and there are gorgeous flowers, white marble and the friendliest staff. Felecia helped me sort through my thoughts and gave honest feedback while having a great sense of humor. So I went to the Stella York Trunk Show yesterday (1/10) for my very first bridal appt. ever. My stylist was Katrina, the manager of the store. She made me feel absolutely AMAZING. My MOH and I were given champagne, and taken back to a private fitting suite which was beautiful and had a huge mirror. I had never tried on dresses, so she walked me through the racks teaching about different styles, pulled several different styles for me to test out, listened to my feedback on all the styles that we tried. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy at all. When I tried on a concept dress that I had pulled I fell in love. It was absolutely perfect. I was worried with the fact that my mom wasn't with me so Katrina had me call her and have her see it. I said YES to the dress which I was so shocked. Best experience ever. I will be back for all my accessories and my bridesmaid dresses as well!

I had an amazing and very fun experience at The White Dress with Carly! This store was my second stop and I couldn't be more impressed. We were offered champagne upon arrival and were taken back to a beautiful private room. Carly made the experience so enjoyable, took photos of me (and my guests that came along) and made the day feel really special. I did not feel pushed to purchase at all. I worked with one of the store managers on the day of my appointment. She was great! Made me feel very comfortable, not rushed. I was able to eliminate dresses and figure out the shape that looked best on me. I ended up with one of the least expensive dresses and she didn't pressure me at all or try to steer me to the more expensive dresses. I could tell she wanted me to find "the one" for me!

I cannot begin to say enough good things about The White Dress and the stylist we worked with, Carly! I'm really not someone who likes to be the center of attention and I REALLY hate trying things on in stores. But she got me talking and made me really comfortable.
The champagne didn't hurt either. :)
All the private dressing areas were beautiful and, as the name implied, private. It wasn't a bunch of dressing rooms and one area with a mirror. Instead there were different rooms with couches, dressing areas and one wall was a mirror.
I never felt pressured or rushed. And eventually I found the dress of my dreams!

The white dress is the place you want to go if you want to feel like a princess, like on one of those shows you find on TLC. The champagne definitely helps too. These ladies are by far the most patient and attentive sales associates I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Be aware these are the top of the line current lines, so they can be a little pricey. I suggest going when there's a trunk sale, you can get at least 10% off your purchase! Also, my dress came in about 3 months EARLY, which was wonderful!

I had such a fabulous experience shopping for my wedding dress thanks to Carly. First off they greeted us with smiles, and champagne (what more could you want?). They had private rooms for each appointment that were well light, with big mirrors, and ample of room for your guests. They even brought in extra chairs. They have a great selection of beautiful gowns to try on that are realistic in pricing. Carly helped me pick something that would be good for my figure and kept me focused on what I wanted- I was thankful for that. Carly made me feel beautiful and like she was my friend. She was easy to get to know and had me laughing and crying. I was so happy with The White Dress that I cancelled my other appointment I had later that day and purchased my dress. Their staff were professional, welcoming, and I felt like I could trust them. I would recommend Carly and The White Dress to any bride looking for their dream dress. If you want to make multiple appointments for dress shopping make The White Dress your last appointment for the day. They give you a discount if you purchase your dress the day of your first appointment and you won't want to leave his salon without purchasing your dress! Thanks Carly you were amazing :)

The White Dress was amazing! Felisha was great, very helpful at staying within my budget. The private dressing area for you and your guests was very roomy & the champagne added a classy touch to our visit. I found my dress here and was so happy with the experience and can't wait to walk down the aisle in my gown!

Beautiful, hard to find dresses. The store carries items you don't see in many places. Many dresses were beautiful but wasn't the right one. Then Danielle found one-- something totally unexpected, an exquisite dress, and I didn't want to take it off. Many of their dresses, particularly the ones by Rosa Clara are light weight sequences-- it's sequences sewn onto mesh-- so your dress doesn't weigh a thousand pounds. This store is how a bridal shop should be run-- and I made an appointment just 24 hours in advance.

I just got married this week in the Mayan Riviera in my beautiful wedding dress from The White Dress!! I have never felt so beautiful or special in my life as I did from the moment I walked into The White Dress. They greeted us with champagne and our own adorable bridal suite and Danielle did an amazing job picking out the perfect dresses for my style and short timeframe. She was so honest and helpful during the entire process that I didn't even look anywhere else! the first three dresses that Danielle picked out were absolutely amazing! I found my perfect dress (totally different than what I thought I wanted but PERFECT!) and Danielle was able to rush the dress with custom hemline to get here 2 weeks before we left for our destination wedding! she always kept me informed with how the process was going so I never had to worry! After reading so many horror reviews of bridal boutiques The White Dress has finally got it right! Thank you Danielle and team for making me such a beautiful bride on my wedding day!!!

The White Dress creates the experience all brides deserve when shopping for their wedding dress. I attended numerous dress stores that cannot even come close to competing with the same service, presentation, and quality of material that The White Dress possesses. When first walking in, it was so beautiful I thought there was no way I was going to be able to afford any of the dresses. Luckily, I was greeted by my welcoming stylist Felisha and she quickly eased any concerns I had. There is a dress that fits the budget for everybody. But even more importantly than budget, they have a wide array of different styles. The previous stores I attended all had styles that were so similar that I began seeing white and everything looked the same. Save yourself some time and make your first and your last stop The White Dress!

My mother flew in from out of town to help me find a wedding dress during one weekend. Most people recommend going to one bridal store per weekend. Not us we went to five wedding dress stores in two days. At the end of the weekend I had very real expectations on what dress shops had to offer both in quality or service and pricing.

We went to The White Dress last (I had pre-made an appointment at a Bridal Show on a whim). It was by far and away the best bridal boutique I went to. You walk in and immediately feel like a celebrity. The ladies at the front desk treat you and your party like queens, offering champagne or a NA beverage. You are then whisked away into a gorgeously decorated room. The room is set up perfectly, private but large enough for your guests to relax, there's also a separate room for you and your dedicated staff member to try on dresses so your friends still get that "wow" effect as you step out from behind the curtains.

With all this special attention, gorgeous dresses and amazing location you would think the price of wedding dresses would be astronomical. They're not! All the dress were very reasonably priced, most were even lower than other shops we visited.

The best part was, Felisha, our personalized staff member. She was the perfect blend of professional and friendly. She felt like one of my friends and had great suggestions on what would look good on my body type. The best part was that she really listened to me, and what I wanted. My mother and friend had A LOT of opinions which she listened to with a smile, but would always look to me for the direction I wanted to go in, not them. I ended up finding my perfect dress, but even if I hadn't I would still recommend this boutique to anyone looking for a dress. Just maybe don't go to the The White Dress first or you will be sorely disappointed by any other bridal boutique.

I can't say enough about how thrilled I've been with my experience at The White Dress! I found both my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses there on my first visit but felt absolutely no pressure. Katrina was amazingly helpful and actually picked out the dress that I wound up choosing but I never would've thought to try it on myself. They stayed late on a Friday night past closing to let me take all the time I needed to make the decision and never made me feel rushed. My bridesmaids are all over the country and Katrina has been so amazing at coordinating with them and making sure that everything keeps moving along according to plan.

The minute I walked in I was on top of the world. It was very well lite, and asked if I would like anything to drink. I went in there with just my mom and sister to look at dresses. I worked with Felicia, she worked with me for at least two hours. They all care so much to find the right dress for all the brides. I tried on a least 8 or 9 dresses then I came out with one dress then my mom and sister loved it and I did to. That meant I found my dress. I said yes to the dress. I would highly recommending this place for anybody.

Two weeks ago, my mom, my maid of honor, and 2 friends came into town to join me to dress shop and The White Dress was our first stop. Upon entering the salon we were cheerfully greeted by Danielle and the store owner Amanda. The decor was elegant and classy, yet very welcoming.
We were shown to our beautiful private suite, given glasses of champagne, and then we headed out to the showroom to select dresses. Danielle advised us as to where the different shapes of dresses were located and told us to pick any and all that we liked. After everyone selected a few of our favorites it was time to try on. Danielle was awesome about opening up the dresses so I could easily step into them. She was attentive, patient, and listened to what I thought about each dress. After trying on a few and not feeling like I was getting anywhere Danielle assessed my feedback of the previous dresses and went and pulled a few others from the showroom. She was so right on! One of the dresses she picked caught my eye in the dressing room and I had to try it on. It was a dress I had passed by at first. I couldn't believe how perfect it was, I fell in LOVE! After seeing my reaction, she brought in a beaded belt and a veil that I could have sworn were made just for that dress. The accessories were just icing on the cake. It was perfect! I didn't even want to try on any other dresses. I had had the moment that I thought you only saw on TV, tears and all.
I can't imagine a more perfect stylist. Danielle was down to earth, professional, and so much fun! I felt so relaxed with her, she made the process seamless. And she knew what I wanted and listened to my ideas and feedback. I can't wait to put my dress on again. And I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!
This was just such an unbelievably wonderful experience. I would recommend Danielle and The White Dress hands down to anyone looking for, not only the perfect wedding dress, but the perfect shopping experience.

I went to the boutique on Sunday with a solid 12 months to go before my wedding, so my expectations were very high and I had nothing to lose. The minute I walked into the doors I was greeted warmly and offered water and/or champagne. the women were SO pleasant to work with, and KatRina went above and beyond in making my experience one of a kind!! She was full of knowledge and the whole appointment went so smoothly. The dress selection is amazing and so budget friendly, I found MULTIPLE beautiful dresses for under $1,000.00 they have private rooms that are decorated so well. The whole place has a very chic and high-end feel. I felt like a million bucks and would recommend this place to EVERY BRIDE!

The White Dress is one-of-a-kind!! This past weekend was my first time trying on gowns and from the moment you walk in the door at The White Dress you are pampered; the store is gorgeous, the champagne is flowing, and the staff is patient, kind, and most of all, fun! We had a rowdy (or shall I say excited!) group and Amanda rolled with the punches beautifully. I kept my other appointments throughout the day but couldn't take my mind off of THE dress. We came back that evening and said YES to THE dress. It was one of the best moments of my life.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making our dress shopping experience so memorable. All five of us (my mom, mother-in-law to be, sister-in-law to be, and auntie-in-law to be) gushed about your staff and service the rest of the weekend. I can't wait to come back for my fitting this summer.

I went in the other night for my first dress shopping experience ever. I had made an appointment at the bridal show to go in. I truly thought I wouldn't find anything that I was looking for on my first trip out. Katrina was my consultant and from the beginning she was wonderful and polite. She helped me pick things, she talked with me while changing dresses and made the experience amazing. Then it happened I found the one....I started crying and Katrina just hugged me! It was an amazing moment and I am so glad she was a part of it with my friends there as well !! Would recommend to everyone!

The White Dress was amazing! I was early for my appointment, and they were able to get me started imediately. I worked with Danielle, and she was fantasitc with helping me find my dress. She worked with me for over two hours, and I tried on about 8 dresses total. She was very responsive to my tastes and was able to recommend options that I hadn't even considered. To top it off, the owner came in to make sure the appointment was running smoothly for me, and to congratulate me on finding my dress.

Going wedding dress shopping here is everything you imagine- from the beautiful show room, to the champagne, to your own private suite, it's magical. I didn't feel bridal until I came here. I brought my 2 best friends and we had Shayla as my stylist, she is AMAZING. Very kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. We had a 1.5 hours to try and pick on dresses, and didn't feel rushed at all. We all got to pick different styles in my budget ($1000). After about the 5 dress, I found the one! Shayla educated me on the different types of bustles to do, accessories to add, and different colors it comes in. I ended up not getting the veil on this trip, but got it when I came back to pick up the dress. The only small downfall is that the dress was about $200 higher than my budget, but if you order it the day of they give you a 10% off discount- but still think they should stay within their budget. I didn't know until after I fell in love. I highly recommend coming here, I promise you'll feel like a bride.

My daughter and I both got our dresses there. Her experience was fantastic, mine was good as well. Mine was a sample sale so a little bit different feel, and I think my stylist could have given a little more direction, but I still got a beautiful dress that made my husband swoon.

The Grand Treatment

When I originally booked appointments for wedding dress shopping I did not have The White Dress in mind. I thought the dresses would be out of my price range with how upscale it is. My mom convinced me to make an appointment because they had a designer she loved and boy was I glad I did! I originally booked appointments at four bridal salons that were all discount or pre-owned shops. After some convincing I booked an appointment at The White Dress. Due to how I set up the other appointments I ended up booking The White Dress as my first shop to stop into. My stylist was Carly and she was AMAZING! You can tell she loves what she does and she made me feel extremely comfortable. I went in looking for a certain style but she had me try on all different types of dresses just so I could really see what everything looked like on me, even if I thought I would hate it. She listened to what I was looking for in a dress and she showed me all the different styles but still with the type of flare I was looking for. I had my mind set on a certain style of dress but thank goodness for Carly because I found my dress, and it was the total opposite of what I was looking for! I ended up with a strapless ball gown when I originally went in for a long sleeve a-line. If it wasn't for her having me try on all of the options I don't think I would have found my dress, or at least it would have been an exhaustive search! This was the first salon I went to and I was so impressed by the private rooms and champagne that I felt like a princess. This place is a must if you are looking for a dress. They listened to what I was looking for and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. They were respectful about my budget and never once tried to push me into something I couldn't afford. I highly recommend The White Dress in Portland to any bride looking for their dream dress. If you have the chance to have Carly as your stylist I would grab it as well! She knows what she is doing!

First try, found the one!

The very first place I booked an appointment to because they have a truck sale in dresses. I told them what I was looking for and the very first dress I tried on was the one. It didn’t have sleeves like I was dreaming about but the found a matching little coat so I could get them tailored on cheaper then have fresh sleeves constructed! All my boxes checked!

I bought my wedding dress here last weekend. From the minute I stepped in, I felt incredibly well taken care of!

My sister and I were offered champagne, water, or tea upon coming in, and when the appointment started, the consultant (Krystal, if I remember correctly) listened to my wants in a dress and let me pick out the first few to try on. After she got to know me and my dress wants a bit more, she started pulling dresses and bringing hem back. She was so patient, and friendly.

I am pretty indecisive, but Krystal never wavered in her excitement of my process. I put on the same handful of dresses 2 or 3 times, and she let me take my time and really feel good about my decision. It was the best time and I am SO THRILLED about my dress!!!

First of all, the inside of the bridal boutique is absolutely gorgeous. It is pink and glittery and any girls DREAM. The girls there are so super sweet and fun and really try their best to take care of you in the best way possible. My dress was TO DIE FOR. I had a Ella Rosa dress, A-line ballgown and never wanted to take it off. I ordered it expedite and had the designer hem it for me, which was an additional cost upfront, but totally worth it. The only thing I would suggest is for The White Dress to get an in house seamstress. DO NOT go to Custom Fit to You to get your dress altered. I cannot stress that enough. I had the WORST experience there. The first initial fitting, she moved locations and didnt even tell me, so i traveled 30+ minutes when i could have only traveled 10. Plus she tried to blame the miscommunication on me, saying i did not keep a text she sent, when I had never deleted any messages from her. THEN, I also had my bridesmaids have their dresses altered there. We picked up my dress and their dresses on the same day. I tried mine on but she didnt let my girls try them on and then when they tried them on at home, NONE of them fit. The arms were too small, one of my girls dresses looked like she hadn't even touched it, and when I texted her asking about it (you have to text because she wont answer phone calls either or return them) she told me it would cos another $100 to fix EACH dress. I had a family friend fix the dresses for free, and she said the dresses were not even altered and that Lei did a $10 job it was so bad. My dress was fine but up close, you could tell it was not the best. Plus during my reception I was lifted up and my zipper unraveled at the seam... My mom packed a sewing kit and was able to fix it day of.

So PLEASE PLEASE go to The White Dress for your dress! You will have the most amazing experience and they have the prettiest dresses! The White Dress is so wonderful I do not want their name to be tainted by a bad seamstress!

I went there as my first stop of dress shopping, and it was fantastic. The White Dress do have a small selection of dresses, but the selection they have is pretty comprehensive yet unique. I tried only a couple and was able to narrow down "the one" easily. After the White Dress, I went to 4 more other dress shops and ended up coming back for the dress I picked at my first stop, and feel really happy about my decision. I'm now really looking forward to put on that dress for my big day. Krystal is my stylist and she is doing a great job in picking up dresses that will look good on me based on what I have told her. She is very patient and willing to sit down listen and understand what you really want. Overall, great experience, convenient location, would absolutely recommend to all of my friends that are looking for wedding gowns.

I had such a great experience with Katrina and The White Dress. It was only the second bridal store I visited and was over the moon to have found my dress so quickly. I was initially drawn to TWD because they carried designers no other salon had in the Portland metro area! My family and I were greeted so warmly when we arrived and were promptly offered champagne after being escorted to their stunningly gorgeous private bridal suites. I sat with Katrina and showed her a few images of styles I liked. My family also gave a few ideas here and there and then we hit the racks! I loved being able to pull dresses myself as the store I visited before did not allow that. It just made the experience so much more personal!

After several gowns I found one I could not love more! It took me a second to process my emotions but Katrina encouraged me to walk around the store in it to make sure I fully loved it. The lighting in the store is amazing and the giant mirrors throughout really give you a wonderful look at every aspect of the dress. An added bonus is they offer 10% off if you order a dress at your first visit to the store! HUGE plus when it comes to wedding expenses.

I loved the experience of finding my gown, but pick up was tricky due to a very busy schedule on their end and I had to fight for a day that worked for me and my mom in their 30 day holding window policy. I tried on my dress at pick up, but when I got it home I noticed some of the lace was torn around the bust. I was upset and assume it was a zipper snag - just wish they would have been more gentle with it when packaging for me. I also was not pleased with their recommendation for alterations. While the price was fair she was rude, not descriptive, and had a very strong personality. This is obviously separate from TWD, but would be nice for them to expand that recommendation in the future :) Overall I am thrilled with my experience and loved my dress more than anything! My now husband did too!!

I bought my dress and veil at the white dress! I had been eyeing my gown online for months before I tried it on, so that was an easy and smooth choice! They were very helpful and it was not overly expensive. My veil I had a slightly harder time with as veils seemed to be more expensive than they should be, but that just may be how it is. I also had a hard time getting a hold of them when my veil was ready because I missed their phone calls and one person was apparently not so kind when my mother tried to call on my behalf. Other than that one phone call we had a great experience!

I lived my experience and I was lucky to have Krystle as my consultant. I explained to her what I wanted and she knew exactly what I wanted. I never felt pressured and she even made the choice easier because she was full of such great information. I would 100% recommend this place and Krystle.

Absolutely loved my dress!! I would wear it everyday if I could! The girls at white dress made dress shopping so fun for my family, bridesmaids and myself!

Krystle at The White Dress was amazing! I went in thinking I wanted one style but after trying on a few she knew it wasn't what I was looking for. She brought in other dresses and narrowed it down. She brought me one that I really didn't think was going to work but with an open mind tried it on and it was the ONE. They really know what they are doing and can't image going anywhere else. Definitely visit The White Dress and have an open mind, they know what they are doing and can get you in your perfect dress.

This is where you should go if looking for a wedding dress in Portland. All dresses are below 2300 and they have an amazing collection. Not to mention the store is stunning and staff is very friendly and helpful.

I went to the White Dress after visiting several other locations. I was impressed by the atmosphere of the shop. It is beautiful inside and the bridal suites are glamorous and fun. The attendant I worked with was helpful but not pushy. She was interested and talkative but considerate and professional. I actually had an appointment after the White Dress and came back at the last minute in rush hour traffic to get my dress the same night. I called the shop to see if they would let me back in at the last moment. They actually stayed late so that I could come in and try the dress on again before purchasing that night. Once I said yes, they gave us another glass of champagne and handled all of my ordering questions smoothly and tactfully. They called to follow up and called me when my dress came in. When I went to pick the dress up they had everything ready to go and helped with possible recommended seamstresses for my style of dress. I had a very positive experience with them.

Fairy Tale Dress

White Dress was wonderful helping me find my dream dress for my wedding. I went in thinking I'd want a certain style and after working with me a bit and talking to me about my wedding, Karli nailed it! She found the style of dress I had no idea I wanted and it was perfect. The dress made me feel like a princess and fit my style and wedding look exactly. I loved dancing in it all night and never wanted to take it off. Karli and the women at The White Dress made the whole experience super fun and glamourous. I never knew I'd have so much fun trying on wedding dresses!

The White Dress was the seventh bridal store I went to and my final appointment of my wedding dress shopping weekend. I thought I'd found my dress at another store that morning but decided to keep my appointment at The White Dress to make sure. The White Dress is a beautiful store with gorgeous lighting and well displayed dresses. We had a lovely private sitting room with attached dressing room and were served champagne. I liked that my stylist allowed my friend and me to go with her to pick out dresses. I'd been to several other well known stores and found nothing that matched my tastes, but there were many wonderful options at The White Dress. We ended up finding THE DRESS and bought it with a 10% discount for purchasing at the time of the appointment. It was $1088 ($979.20 after 10% off), less expensive than similar dresses I'd tried on at other stores. I was very happy with my appointment and found a beautiful dress. It was a great experience and should be a must-visit store for any bride!

Pauline was my stylist. I went with just my mom and my appointment at The White Dress was my second one. The night before I thought I had found my dress and I was so in love, but thought I would still shop a little but me. It took forever and I got in and out of a lot of dresses, and I got in my final dress 3 times before making the decision. I think what really helped make my decision is seeing the fitted dress next to the a line dress. Pauline's instincts were spot on to show me both. It was harder than I thought it would be to make a decision with just my mom there, but I appreciated her patience with her as well. Pauline was professional and not at all pushy. She gave me the time I needed to make the decision and even held my phone through a few Face time calls. I also appreciated that Pauline wanted to know more about me and my fiance and our history, where we were getting married etc. Honestly I am so very happy and can't stop looking at the photos. I never would have thought to have picked that dress for myself but I am glad I tried on something so different. I think it's stunning and can't wait to see everyone's reactions

The White Dress was the first and only place that I went wedding dress shopping. The shop is so cute and they have great private suite areas for you and your guest. They also provide champagne! The gowns there were beautiful. I always loved Stella York and they are one of the only shops in the area that carry that. My bridesmaids and I all started crying when I found "the" dress! The only thing I did not like about the experience was that I felt pressured by the person attending to us to buy the gown based on my reaction. I ended up getting the dress and it was perfect! I was also able to call 2 days after ordering the dress and change the lace overlay color of the dress without a problem. They are a great shop and I would recommend anyone to go shopping for their gown there!

I worked with Amanda and she was great. The White Dress was the second place that I looked for a dress. Amanda has set-up a great space that feels elegant and special. I wish that I would have know how much extra fabric was in the seam of a wedding dress as I was right on the cusp of a size and I should have ordered a size smaller than I was recommended. I ended up having to have extensive alterations to get the dress to fit in the end.
