I was looking to try on dresses the day of because I had to go back to College that same day, I called beyond the veil because I had previously looked in there. They managed to arranged an appointment for me that same day! Amazing flexibility, I had previously seen my dream dress and when I tried it on I knew it was the one.
Jillian who was the associate who helped me was amazing, I am very shy but she made me feel confortable trying on dresses and I never felt rushed!
Overall this was the most amazing experience. I am beyond happy I purchased my dream dress and veil.

Not only were mary and jill sweet and super helpful. I found the one dress first try. They have an amazing collection and are able to order in anything you need. They have a seamstress to help with tailoring and the prices are amazing for a bridal boutique. For veil, dress and crown i paid 2,336.

I was in a tough spot—I travel in a 15-passenger van all across the country for work and don’t have the time or opportunity to find (let alone store) a dress for my upcoming wedding. To make it even more difficult, I’m essentially a volunteer with a living stipend of about $300 a month. Not exactly enough to afford a decent dress. Luckily my fiancé and I are having a VERY small wedding with just immediate family at the Grand Canyon which means we don’t have the traditional expenses of decorations, catering, matching tablecloths and napkins, flowers, and so forth. On the other hand, that also means I don’t get much of the “bride” experience.

Originally, I ordered a dress on Amazon like so many women before me. I figured there was no way I could ever afford anything in an actual bridal shop—not when dresses frequently sell for thousands of dollars. But Amazon canceled my order without explanation (and a good thing too because my team and I got redeployed and I would have been long gone by the time the dress got to the hotel). When I went to Beyond the Veil, I didn’t actually expect to find anything in my price range. It was sheer desperation and some kind of hope for a “bridal experience” I felt I was missing out on.

Beyond the Veil challenged every notion I had about a bridal shop. Not only did I find a dress that far exceeded my expectation, but the manager was so nice and went out of her way to work with me to find a dress that I loved, that fit, and that was within my budget! The owners were incredibly friendly and continued to treat me like I was important even after they knew of my dinky budget.

The whole experience was the first time since I’ve been engaged that I felt like someone outside my fiancé and his family was excited for me and reminded me that it’s ok for me to be the center of attention for a while. Which meant more to me than anyone at the shop will ever know. I never felt like a bride until that moment.

It was a wonderful experience to find my gown here. It was less wonderful in getting the dress in to the store, scheduling appointments, and alterations. Overall, I got my dress in time for my wedding and it was lovely.

I would avoid this shop. The owner Jeff is shady like a used car salesman. When I called to ask if he had dresses in our price range on the rack, he asked what the price range of dress we were looking for. I told him not more than $600. He said no problem they had dresses in store from $200-$1200 He'll tell you what you want to hear to get you in the store. Then he says he charges $50 for an appointment and "if you DON"T find a dress, he will give you $50" This is a lie. When you get there and don't find a dress because he doesn't have a single dress for $200 or even $600. (They all start around $1200. ) He will keep your $50 and tell you he didn't say what he said. He will say that he told you if you find something it will go toward your purchase. That is absolutely NOT what he said. There wasn't a dress even close to the price range even though the lady said she could probably get the $1200 down to $700. Not to mention, not a large variety of selections. I had assumed when he said he had $200 dresses they were probably older, returns, donated. Nope, just a con. All dresses are new and not in price range. We visited lots of stores in Vancouver and Oregon and none of them other than this guy charged a fee for an appointment and then he kept the $50 when we didn't find anything. When I got my credit card statement he actually charged $54.20
