Chelsea was very responsive, easy to work with, and happy to accommodate my requests. She added a bustle for my dress and replaced the zipper for me. She gave me lots of options for how we could add a bustle and once I decided, she sent me a very helpful video as a reference for how it worked! She even steamed some accessories I had in my garment bag. She was very kind and made the whole experience smooth and easy! Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience with Rethread Alterations! I had a very specific vision for a transforming wedding dress using an overskirt and dress I wanted to combine, and Chelsea brought it to life flawlessly. The craftsmanship, engineering, and attention to detail she put into it were beyond anything I imagined. We had over 45 children attend and they kept coming up to me the reception to tell me how beautiful I looked. I felt like one of the princesses in Disneyland! Chelsea’s communication, care, and skill were exceptional from start to finish. Reflecting back on my wedding, I was focused on the day itself rather than wardrobe malfunctions or tripping over my skirt. The best engineering is the kind you don't even notice.

Chelsea did a fantastic job on my dress and my husband’s suit. My dress needed to be taken in at the top, bustle added, and hemmed to bring the bottom up. On the initial consultation she also noticed that the mesh in the back was gapping at the top and the cups needed to be stitched up so they wouldn’t stick out. My husband's pants needed to be hemmed up and the sleeves of the suit shortened. Her attention to detail is exceptional and personality and excitement is infectious!

Chelsea truly makes dreams come true! She was by far my favorite vendor to work with—I really appreciated that she’s so organized and has streamlined her process/system. I never had to email her, she always emailed me reminders and I never had to ask questions because the information was clearly stated. I felt like she was always one step ahead of me, which was such a relief since I’m very “Type A” and usually have to be the one to drive these sorts of interactions. As far as my dress goes, I couldn’t be happier. She hemmed my dress, adjusted the straps, installed bra cups, and created a beautiful bustle. To top it I all off, she shot a video showing how to bustle my dress, which I air dropped to my MOH so that she could easily bustle my dress on my wedding day. 10/10, thank you, Chelsea!
