The staff and owners at Zion Springs are second to none. The wedding was flawlessly conducted. Repeated comments from guests were that everything flowed so smoothly. And the photographer was great, too! He got super pictures and managed to be unobtrusive at the same time. Thank you to everyone at Zion Springs…you made my daughter’s special day perfect!!

The staff at Zion Springs are simply amazing. They take all the stress out of wedding planning and make it super fun. Our wedding day was beyond our imagination. In fact, many of our guests said it's the best wedding they've ever been to and we agree. Special shoutout to Laura, Doug, Bethany, William, Tommy, and Lorelai for going above and beyond to make everything so perfect!!!

To start, Zion Springs – the barn, B&B, surrounding land – is stunning. All of our guests were in awe! The all-inclusive, all-weekend celebration means venue, wedding planner, photographer, chairs, tables, linens, decorations, flowers, and more – pretty much everything and anything you need and want will be included in your monthly payments. This also means that at least 20 of your family and friends will stay onsite at Zion Springs with you all weekend. Rehearsal dinner and welcome party are onsite as well. This was amazing and made it super easy to get everyone together!
The photographers and videographers are outstanding. They made the entire day so much fun and the results are incredible. Doug is a gem and legend. I have received so many compliments about both our engagement photos and wedding sneak peek. He truly captured the love and good energy of our family and friends. Tommy is silent but deadly because while he may be on the quieter side, but he came through with an epic solution for us when something fell through and the “End of Night” video he made was jaw dropping. They are both all-around awesome dudes!
The wedding planner, Laura, is my hero. Not only did she take care of all my dreams, wishes, and hopes for our wedding day, but she executed flawlessly. Laura let me be myself throughout the entire process. She listened and heard me and she grew to understand me. She knew what was extra important to me, what my priorities were, any challenges I could see coming up, and more. She became another shoulder to lean on and a partner. My now husband is definitely grateful for her 
The florist that we were assigned, Sofia, completely knocked it out of the park. The florals were gorgeous and even better than I imagined. I requested white and greenery with pops of bright red, orange, and yellow – and boy did they POP! I gasped when the bouquets were delivered to my bridesmaids and me. Couldn’t have been more perfect.
With Zion Springs by our side, the wedding planning stresses were completely minimized. Not only did everything fall perfectly into place, but the process getting there was smooth, happy, and comfortable. We truly felt we were getting our bang for our buck. I highly recommend working with Zion Springs for your wedding celebration. The team makes you feel like a part of their family and their skills are of the highest caliber.

We can’t say enough good things about Zion Springs and the amazing group of people who made our wedding day spectacular and unforgettable! The venue is so lovely and the opportunity to stay onsite with our closest friends and family made us feel like we were in a world of our own. Everyone we worked with was so friendly and engaging, we truly felt like they were an integral part of the whole weekend. Our situation was especially challenging because we live in New York, but the folks at Zion Springs were able to coordinate and pull off our dream wedding almost entirely through zoom calls. Laura helped us to plan every detail and made sure we stayed on track all weekend. Chris cooked amazing breakfasts and saved the day with a few emergency supplies. Doug, Bethany and Tommy took such creative photos and video to help us memorialize the occasion. John the chef prepared scrumptious food for the rehearsal and the reception, and Jon was the perfect host and emcee. Our guests raved about Zion Springs all weekend. For a once in a lifetime event, Zion Springs was the perfect choice.

Our experience at Zion Springs was stellar! They produced a beautiful, memorable, relaxing and fun wedding that exceeded our expectations. Doug and his photography/video team are too good for words! The video at the end of the reception was jaw-dropping! Laura’s planning made everything go smoothly, John’s DJ skills kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, and Chris’s hospitality made us all feel welcome and loved. Truly outstanding!

We had the absolute best time celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Zion Springs! The owners, Jon and Chris, have a stunning venue and were amazing hosts! Everything about the weekend was perfect! The event planner, Laura, was so organized and guided us through every detail of wedding planning with ease! Her professional and calming demeanor was exactly what this mother of the bride needed. I am not sure if Doug, the photographer, ever slept over the wedding weekend because every time we turned around he was there taking the absolute best photos/videos. He was so much fun and his engery was contagious. A shout out to the chef for the delicious food both at the rehearsal and reception!! So many other members of the Zion Springs team that went above and beyond including Abby (the florist), the friendly bartenders, quick and smiling food servers, to our entertaining MC/DJ, Jon!

The amount of time and dedication by everyone member of the Zion Team did not go unnoticed. Way to go! You all knocked it out of the park!!

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING about Zion Springs is perfection! You always hear horror stories about planning a wedding but let me just tell you I would do it again and again and this is all because of the team at Zion. As the bride you always stress about everything going perfectly but the only thing I had to worry about was making it down the stairs in my huge dress! We had a two year engagement and in those 2 years there was never a time we didn't feel welcomed or important by the staff. Their system they have as a team makes the weekend go so smooth. And the all inclusive package they have makes it so easy to have the weekend of your dreams! Laura is a gift from heaven and is pretty much a super hero when it comes to all things wedding and her team is just as amazing. And I have no idea how to describe the talent of Doug and his photography team, my husband and I have watched our end of the night slide show about 100 times in the last 3 weeks and I have no intention of stopping because it's just amazing. Our wedding at Zion Springs met and exceeded our expectations far more than we could have imagined. We started our greatest adventure in life on such a high and I recommend everyone to start there's off the same way and to do so by trusting the Zion Springs team to help you have the most amazing wedding day.

We are grateful to Jon and Chris, owners of Zion Springs and all their staff who worked tirelessly to make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding a beautiful, special day to remember. The barns and house are lovely with country charm, elegant and peaceful, nestled in the serene landscape of Loudoun County, Virginia. Everything is provided on site; wedding planner, photographers, chef, florist, MC, DJ, lodging, etc. The staff work together as a team from the beginning of the wedding planning to the smallest details on the wedding day and the final goodbyes on Sunday. The result is a weekend from Friday to Sunday, start to finish, beautifully planned to personally reflect two families joined together on this memorable day. It is a weekend to remember that will hold fond memories for many years to come. Thank you Zion Springs!

Everything turned out great. It was a stress-free, relaxing weekend. All of our guests had a great time, and few said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The staff was attention throughout all of the planning, and the whole weekend of the wedding. The photography and videography team was outstanding. We highly recommend the video package. The end of the night video was a big hit with all of the guests at the reception. The DJ gets into the spirit of the night. The bar staff were great with the drinks and keeping guests fueled up. The Chef and his staff were great at meeting our guests dietary needs. We recommend his Brisket, the Sliders, the Prime Rib, and the Tiramisu is the best we've ever had.

If you want an experience that you and your guests will remember for years to come, pick Zion Springs.

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to have our wedding at Zion Springs. We were blown away by every member of their team, as they did a spectacular job making our weekend go as perfect as it possibly could for us and our guests. We received several compliments from our family and friends stating how beautiful the venue is, and how flawlessly the entire team coordinated the night. There are far too many positives to even list here, but our favorite thing about Zion Springs was how well the team members worked with each other to perfect even the smallest details of the night. Jon and Chris, the owners, the photo/video team led by Doug, our event coordinator Laura, as well as the bartenders and servers - they all seemed to be on the same page with each other as we transitioned from various points throughout the day and evening.

In the beginning of the planning process, couples meet with the team for a "Dream Dinner" - to discuss our opinions and desires for our big day - they fulfilled these desires completely for us! Perhaps our favorite thing about our entire wedding weekend was the end-of-the-night video shown right before the sparkler sendoff. The photo and video team created a phenomenal video with footage they shot and edited throughout the night. This is such a unique detail that we were excited for, but it exceeded our expectations by far.

If you’re looking for a venue that is all-inclusive, with accommodations on-site, and a team with great chemistry, Zion Springs is it! Beginning Friday afternoon until Sunday at noon, the venue is dedicated to one couple. They cover every detail – from alcohol/food and servers/bartenders, to décor and flowers (including a huge design inventory on site), to meals for the bridal party on the day of the wedding. The owner, Jon, who is also the wedding night MC, is a damn good DJ too!

We really can't rave enough about this venue and the entire team. We are so grateful to them for giving us a perfect wedding weekend that we will always cherish :)

If you are looking for an excellent full service venue Zion springs is your place. I can’t say enough good things about this venue. Myself and my husband are very busy people and simply didn’t have time to go through all of the nuances of planning the perfect day. Working with John and his family, Laura, Doug, and Sofia over the last year and a half planning this wedding that was postponed due to the pandemic has been nothing short of amazing. They helped us navigate the uncertainty, and assured us that everything would go as planned and it certainly did! All we had to do was explain our vision, bring our clothes, rings, and family and enjoy the weekend. The Food was AMAZING, the service was incredible, and the photo/video team captured the most precious moments that we will forever hold dear to our hearts. Thank you Zion Springs and team for making our dream wedding come true!

Perfect . Did I say that already? So so perfect. I could not have dreamed of a better day.

I found Zion Springs after Googling “small wedding venues” and looked through some of their pictures. I did not know that something like this existed!! They have a farm/venue for weddings or if you are looking for something a little extraordinary, they have adventure packages! We booked an adventure wedding package which included a photographer, officiant, and bridal bouquet. Zion Springs were very reasonably priced and checked off every box.

Laura was extremely easy going and open to whatever myself and my now husband :) wanted to do! After a couple emails, we had our initial zoom meeting and then worked together to finalize details. Laura was great on the day off too as she was helping with my dress and fixing my veil when needed, and overall making sure things ran smoothly.

On the day of, we met at the location and I saw my bouquet for the first time. When I say PERFECT... I mean like I could not have imagined anything better and I would not change a single thing. It was something straight out of Pinterest or Instagram.

Our photographer, Doug, was amazing. Amazing. Amazing!! He made us feel so incredibly comfortable and really captured the aesthetic I was going for. There were a couple shots we were really excited for that he showed us on his camera. Doug was so personable that it really felt like a close friend that knew us was taking our pictures and able to really understand our relationship and translate that to pictures. He was great at directing us for poses and also capturing the candida. He was so thoughtful in taking pictures he even picked up a sweet memento from the location that my husband and I will be keeping on our mantel.

When I say our day was perfect, I mean literally there is not a single, even tiny detail, I would change. Zion Springs even had a list of officiants based on what our preferences and Donna was fantastic. Laura and Doug were truly phenomenal from the moment we first talked through the end of the ceremony and pictures.

Honestly, without sounding so cliche, you will not regret booking with this team. If anything, you will regret it if you don’t. Our day could not have been more perfect and again, Laura and Doug were so incredibly thoughtful and you could tell they truly love and care about what they do.

I am so thankful for finding them on Google. I made an account here on Wedding Wire just so I could write this review. COVID sucks but your special day could still be perfect with this amazing team. If it weren’t for ‘rona we probably would have gone with their entire weekend package which includes stays at their bed and breakfast.

They are truly an amazing team and I implore you to reach out to Zion Springs and fall in love. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I’m not even sure where to begin with this review!

Anyone who gets married and has the pleasure of working with this venue and their staff is truly blessed! They are just so flexible, easy to work with and truly want to make your wedding stress free and memorable. It was by far the best wedding we and our guests had been to. I can’t even begin to tell you how many people have reached out to let us know that they had the best time ever and how “homesick” they felt after leaving the venue. Wanting to be able to stay just one more night... and already asking if we’re going to do a reunion with this venue next year, that they “better be invited” And yes, we would love to discuss a reunion with them!

First, Natalie and Laura went above and beyond to make sure that not only we, the bride and groom were taken care of and had everything we wanted and needed all weekend long, but for all of our family and friends as well! I feel like every time I turned around there was one of them asking me if I was good or needed anything and here’s my cell just text or call if you need us! 💜

The chef was on point with his dishes!! 👌🏻🤤 Everything was delicious and you could tell as soon as meeting him that his main goal was to make everything just perfect and the way you wanted it. He made sure to touch base with us and see how we felt about how the dishes were coming along and if we had any suggestions or changes. He truly cooks with love!!

Jon and Chris Tigges have an absolutely gorgeous set up! The scenery is beautiful and there are so many different spots they have set up around the entire property to just sit and enjoy the peace and views and company.
They welcomed all of us into their home and it was such a pleasure to get to know them.
Chris made breakfast for us all on Saturday and Sunday morning and was sure to have everything we could have craved!
They also made sure throughout the entire process that we were comfortable and guided us in making all of our decisions. One of the biggest things I have to say about the whole part of the wedding planning process is it can be stressful finding certain vendors for certain things and gathering up everything from catering to tables/plates/silverware to decorations and flowers, but at Zion Springs, they literally take on all aspects of your wedding. One stop shop and so many options, they will literally make what you want happen. 💜

Doug, the photographer, omg, his photos!!! 📸Just amazing! Seriously. We met him for our engagement photo shoot earlier this year and we loved him!! Love his passion and dedication to us from the time we met! He spent the better half of his afternoon and evening driving around with us capturing amazing photos all over our area. The wedding photos we have seen so far in our “sneak peek” certainly have not disappointed either! We have gotten several compliments on his photos, saying these are magazine worthy and the best wedding photos they have seen! At the end of our wedding night he put together a sneak peek slideshow of our big day with some of the photos he had captured through the entire process. Our guests LOVED seeing that! We can not wait to see all of the other photos from the weekend!! 🤩 The photo booth was a great touch! What a great way to capture some funny memories of all our loved ones! Another thing we would strongly suggest is the live streaming! Some of our loved ones were unable to attend but were able to watch our wedding weekend with the live streaming option the venue had offered! The people who watched us live said this was super cool and awesome and was a great way to be there for us! They enjoyed feeling a part of the crowd! Also want to thank all the other photographers that were there throughout the weekend, the photos are simply beautiful and a work of art!! Y’all are so talented!!

Also want to give a big shout out to our bartenders for the weekend, Steven & Rodney! They were fun, attentive and a pleasure to work with as well! (I’m sure there are some good stories from down at that bar) 🍾🍻🥂

All in all, this venue and the entire staff certainly went above and beyond for us not just for a wedding but for a memorable weekend experience nobody is going to forget!! We enjoyed all the parting gifts as well, Thank you all!! 👰🏼🤵🏻💞

We highly recommend Zion Springs for events, elopements, and weddings. Jon really has something special up there. Trying to plan a wedding in general is really stressful, especially during a pandemic so, we decided on eloping. I was really worried that I was going to regret not including my family or having a big wedding, but after our adventure elopement at Zion springs, all those feelings went away! I don’t regret a thing. Everyone there is absolutely amazing, they put us at ease and treated us so well. The entire day was so perfect. My husband and I had so much fun. Laura and Doug took us on the adventure we dreamed of and we had the greatest ceremony and got some of the most breathtaking pictures (they honestly recreated my Pinterest board). Then after our adventure, the chef provided us with a top-notch picnic along with a cake and then an unforgettable dinner (all with making everything allergy safe since I have several food allergies!). They had everything covered from the coordinator and photographer, my gorgeous bouquet, the food/drinks, and the officiant. They took all the stress out of the wedding process and provided us with the ability to truly enjoy each other and celebrate our marriage on our special day. Everything was so handled so perfectly. We would do it again a thousand times!

We could not be more pleased with the entire staff at Zion Springs Bed and Breakfast, the venue for our daughter’s wedding. They thought of everything and provided comprehensive, multiple choice of services. The owner, Jon, participated actively and ensured everything was done just as my daughter and her now husband desired. The photographer. Doug, was excellent with getting the right shots without being obtrusive. He was actually the opposite, so very friendly and affable. All the food was delicious and elegantly presented. Due to the coronavirus, we had to change our plans considerably. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, couldn't ask for a better place to hold a rehearsal dinner or wedding. Highly recommend you consider Zion Springs for your event.

It was a year ago that my husband and I invited the most important people of our lives to celebrate our marriage with us. For the event of the century, in our minds, the Tigges and the entire Zion Springs staff created a weekend that far exceed all those dreams I had as a little girl.

We went with the all inclusive package and it was a great decision for us. A wedding planner, THE wedding planner, was included. Elise was the best gift a bride could ask for; she brought all the ideas, laughs and non of the stress. Elise met with us several times and walked me through all the wedding tasks to ensure we had a prefect weekend. She was by our side through the entire weekend and I never had to answer a question because Elise had it all taken care of.

The catering crew was beyond top notch. We had phenomenal food and beverages all weekend long. You have to ask for the Short Ribs! The servers and bartenders made our guests feel like they were at a 5 star restaurant and took care of everything.

The photographer, Doug, is so great. He provides such a warm spirit and has an incredibly East going personality. Our photos captures all of the amazing moments we had hoped for and has helped us encapsulate memories we can look back in for a lifetime.

Our goal was to have family and friends walk away with the best time. We still get feedback from our guests about how amazing it was because of the venue, music, food and overall ambiance. A year later, my husband and I still talk about what an amazing time we had and how we’d give anything to go back and live that memory all over again!

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that will give you upscale service, an amazing venue with indoor and outdoor options, and a country, charming, and unforgettable experience, then you have to give Zion Springs a look! It was my first choice, my only choice, and a year later I still know it was the best choice!

We got married here in September 2019 and loved every second! Having the entire property to ourselves for the weekend was a game changer, and something no other venue we looked at could offer. With all the other details that go into planning a wedding, having everything in one place (rehearsal dinner, getting ready for both bride and groom, ceremony, reception, after party, brunch the next day, the list goes on) was amazing. Our entire bridal party was able to stay on site for the whole weekend.

Jon, Daniel, and the whole team were amazing and incredibly organized from start to finish. The food the entire weekend was great. The barn and areas around it are beautiful and we had a ton of options for taking pictures. The whole weekend was perfect but some highlights were:
- having all our guests come Friday night to socialize (great way to talk to more guests since the actual wedding will fly by
- the pizza!
- all the amazing staff that took care of us all weekend.

Zion Springs was the perfect wedding experience. From the moment I had my first visit, to the morning I left there a married woman, the experience was flawless. After touring the facility for the first time, I left there trying to convince myself that any other place would work just a fine for the day of my dreams, but I soon would realize that nothing else I visited would even come close. When Zion Springs presented my husband and I with the chance to get married this December, at a promotional price, it was an offer we couldn't refuse. My nerves immediately went into overdrive, wondering how I could plan a wedding in less than 3 months. But it happened. And it was perfect. Everyone was outstanding, from my amazing event director, Lisa, my phenomenal services director, Daniel, my talented photographer, Doug, and the owner, Jon and his beautiful family, they all did everything they could to make the day a dream come true. The weather ended up perfect, which was also a significant plus for a December (outdoor) wedding! The hospitality was warming, the decorations beautiful, the food delicious, and the music POPPIN'. Zion Springs does it all but the wedding dress, and I would do it all over again if I could!

Our daughter held her wedding at Zion Springs, and my wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. The rural Virginia scenery at the property is outstanding. The lodgings for the wedding party and parents were comfortable and clean, the food was outstanding (wood-fired pizzas, grilled lamb chops, charcuterie plates, bacon-wrapped scallops, shrimp, chicken, salmon, to name a few). The rehearsal dinner and wedding reception went very smoothly. Jon and Chris were excellent hosts and, with their staff, ran a very smooth operation. Jon was the perfect MC for the party and created the atmosphere for a great party. The planning for the wedding was spot on, thanks to Jon's detailed guidance, which we conscientiously followed, and we had no hitches whatsoever. We all had a great time and our guests had nothing but compliments. We all have lots of wonderful memories of the weekend. Many said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. We would agree. Our daughter told us it was the wedding of her dreams and everything she had hoped for. What more could be asked for? We highly recommend Zion Springs! We don't have any more daughters to be married but we would choose Zion Springs again without hesitation. By the way, this would be a great place to base a weekend of vineyard visits.

Six weeks ago we began planning our wedding with Zion Springs. We had toured originally to book a wedding in 2020, but with some of the dates left open this year my fiancé and I took a second tour. After reassurance from Jon and his team, we ended up deciding on October 26, 2019. The process began with our Dream Dinner and gorgeous engagement photos where we had the most incredible food! We were introduced to Lisa, Doug, and Chris who explained how the next couple weeks would be full of decisions but such a smooth process. They weren’t lying! I had a meeting to make a design plan for the whole wedding with Lisa the following week. Every step of the way I had the support and expertise of the whole team! I cannot think of any other place I would have wanted to get married and this weekend exceeded my expectations. It truly was my dream wedding.
During the actual weekend, we had the most amazing food for every meal. Also, Doug and his team were there to capture all the moments from Friday to Sunday, and we ended the night we an amazing slideshow of some beautiful pictures from the day! We were able to have people spend time all night with us both Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday morning. It was so special to have that extra time to catch up with friends and family out of town! Lisa made sure everything moved so seamlessly and we never felt rushed and truly got to enjoy every moment. If I could tell a future bride that your wedding planning can be done in a month, low stress, and turn out perfect, Lisa, Doug, and Jon can definitely take care of it! They truly made us feel so special and welcomed!

What a beautiful weekend we had at Zion Springs. Jon and Chris were the perfect host and hostess and took the time to learn about the Bride and Groom. The entire staff worked seamlessly to ensure a wonderful reception. Our guest raved about the venue, the food and the atmosphere.( smores at the fire pit were a hit)

The first time I visited Zion Springs I knew I hit home. It was like everything I envisioned and true to my heart. I loved the beautiful rustic, country yet elegant vibe. I loved how it had stairs, a fire pit and such a chill and wonderful relaxed atmosphere. When we met the staff they all completely blew away our expectations and we just love all of the Zion Springs staff there. They are like family and Vinnie and I really enjoyed and are so thankful we met all of them. Anna makes the BEST food, Jon, Daniel, Elise, Doug and Chris were always very supportive and helpful throughout the entire process and really knew their stuff. We are so happy that our wedding glowed in everyone’s eyes. Our guests said it was the best wedding they ever went to and it makes us so happy :-). Chris makes amazing food too just like her daughter Anna! Chris made us a DELCIOUS sandwich lunch on the day of our wedding. I was thinking beforehand just we would get simple sandwiches but no they were basically do melt in your mouth sandwiches! I wish I had the recipe so I could make it for my husband. She made us a yummy perfect breakfast the day after that everyone raves about. It was a very homey feel. One of the very special things that Chris did was that she gave me a beautiful handkerchief which I used to wipe my happy tears away during the ceremony. I sadly lost it somehow but I will always remember Chris’s big heart. She even took time out of her day to help fix my flowers that were not looking so healthy from the vendor we used for personal flowers. Elise our wedding planner/coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything was what we wanted with the day of schedule and all decorations. She brought laughter to our stressful days of wedding planning and helped calm my nerves about some stuff on the day of the wedding. Doug, our photographer who now is on staff with Zion Springs did AMAZING photos. A lot of my friends and family said they look like something that came out of a magazine. He is even working with us on doing more photos this month to capture some sunset photos and bridge photos that we didn’t have time to do on the wedding day. what an amazing guy! When I think of Zion Springs I look back and get tears in my eyes because of who the staff are, how generous, loving and supportive they are. It is hard to find people like that and on top of that the beautiful venue. It is literally the whole package. I loved all of the beautiful scenery photos you can take there. The beautiful river with the bridge, the hills, nature and tress, flower garden. Everywhere is like a sight of heaven. Thank you Zion Springs for everything and more ❤️.

Our wedding at Zion Springs was amazing!! The staff there are so warm and welcoming! They made us feel like family the whole weekend. They helped with everything from planning to food and flowers. Zion Springs is a one stop shop! They were able to provide food, the DJ, flowers, wedding planner, decorations and place to stay for up to 36 guests. Anything that was not covered at the venue, our wedding planner helped us get taken care of! Zion Springs exceeded all of my expectations!

My sister and brother in law recently got married at Zion springs! The photos that I viewed of ZS didn’t do the actual venue justice! No wonder as soon as my sister in law laid eyes on the picturesque property and met some of the staff, she said ‘this is it’....and literally didn’t look anywhere else! Staff were wonderful as well as the owners/family. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Everyone was so professional and friendly! We built a relationship with the Daniel, John, Elise, and Chris over the 14 months we were planning. They got to know us and our family, and we got to know them.
I fell in love with the venue online, but the pictures don’t do it justice!!! It spoke to my soul when I arrived the first time. We hosted the Welcome Dinner Friday and it was perfect! Anna prepared the formal meals and everything was delicious! I had a hard time deciding what to serve for the reception because we loved all of the food we tried.
We rented all of the barn and B&B suites for the weekend so the wedding party and family members were close. It was like a mini family vacation. Chris prepared all of the informal meals as part of the suite rentals. We literally ate and drank all weekend. We had campers who were accommodated as well. The kids were able to run around without us having to worry about them. We felt like we were one big family with the Tiggeses for 3 days.
I also had a small snafu with my photographer, and without even talking to me about it Doug and Jon had someone come in and shoot just in case. The staff is so thoughtful, so kind, so professional... so everything!
I could go on and on about everything, but I have to leave some things out so you at least take the time to go check it out. If you’re looking for cheap, this is not the place. If you’re looking for value, you’ve found the right place. It’s worth every dollar!!! Top-notch operation and service is superior!

Zion Springs made the entire experience incredibly easy! They have a detailed process to make sure that no detail is forgotten and really work to make the day personal. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and they made the process so easy there was absolutely no stress. Plus the venue is beautiful and it is super fun to have your closest friends and family stay on site with you!

We loved the venue from the first visit. It was the first venue (of 5) we visited and we put down a deposit immediately for fear of losing our weekend. We did go see the other venues on our short list, but the other spots, while beautiful, just didn't match what ZIon Springs could offer us.

Working with Elise (our wedding coordinator) was great - she nailed it (as I told her the day of). She worked with us on our design plan and really understand what we wanted and what our vision was. The stone patio and the barn looked absolutely amazing! And of course working with Jon on the overall weekend and Daniel on the food was great.

The food was SO good! I've been to weddings... and typically you are served dry beef and/or rubbery chicken. The food at ZS was delicious and our guests still compliment us about it! Kudos to the chef! The dream dinner and fall BBQ were really nice as they gave us a chance to sample the menu options and choose our wedding menu (it was a tough choice because everything we ate was delicious). The ability to bring our own alcohol (without a corkage fee) was also really helpful - I'm sure we saved a LOT of money working directly with Total Wine.

Another thing that we really loved about ZS was the B&B and the barn rooms - we were able to have our immediate families and members of the bridal party stay with us on site - so it was so much more than just a wedding reception... it was a weekend long celebration. Starting with the welcome on Friday afternoon, continuing through the rehearsal, and a group breakfast Saturday morning - it gave us time to really catch up with our families (who live all over the country) and gave our families a chance to get to know each other.

It may sound contrite, but the wedding was PERFECT. Everything I wanted. The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, the reception was a blast (dancing all night long), followed by the fireside drinks and being able to catch up with friends and family before they left for the evening... I didn't want the night to end and I know our guests felt the same way. We still get compliments on what a great wedding it was (on so many details: the beautiful patio, the delicious food, the picture slide show to close the reception)... and it makes me smile because it was everything I ever hoped for.

From the moment we arrived for our tour of Zion Springs, we knew we had found "home" to our wedding! Jon and the entire staff welcomed us like old friends and we felt right at home. They happened to have a spring date still available when we toured in December and without hesitation we booked an early May date. In a quick 6 months with the help of our FABULOUS coordinator Jenny, our dream wedding became a reality! We cannot say enough about how incredible Jenny was throughout the process, she truly went above and beyond in every was possible - from helping keep us on budget with our florals to entertaining our pup Max before the ceremony, she was spot on! If you have the opportunity to work with Jenny, you won't be disappointed! So often since our wedding day, family and friends have commented on how our wedding was one of the best they have ever attended and we can honestly say it's all thanks to the entire staff at Zion Springs and the magical day they create! Daniel and his staff were very attentive and so kind! Anna and the entire kitchen staff are MAGICIANS with their stills - the smoked Brisket is TO DIE FOR! We're so honored to consider everyone at Zion Springs like family now! Wish we could go back and relive that whole weekend over and over again. Thank you Zion Springs!!!!

I would highly recommend Zion Springs as a wedding venue. My daughter and new son-in-law were married there this past weekend and it was outstanding! After looking at several venues in the state of Virginia, they chose Zion Springs for many reasons, one of which was the option to have their family and friends on site for the entire weekend. Several family members stayed in the bed-and-breakfast and many of the bridesmaids, groomsmen and friends stayed in rooms in the barn. Our hosts, Chris and Jon, were the best! They were friendly, flexible and so accommodating! We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and lunch, and snacks were always available too. The ceremony was beautiful on the terrace and the reception in the barn was wonderful! All of the spaces available to us were beautiful and inviting, including the firepit areas, the outdoor patio tables and rocking chairs, the porch at the bed-and-breakfast and the areas for the rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour after the ceremony, game-playing and picture-taking. I cannot say enough about this venue. We loved it and I can honestly say that my daughter’s wedding was one of the best and most fun days of my life and Zion Springs was a large part of making that happen!

We had our wedding just before Christmas, December 22nd. This date, at the time that we were first talking to Jon, fell a week after the end of their operating season. That’s correct. Jon Tigges and his entire family and everyone at Zion Springs delayed the start of their winter holiday to celebrate with us and make one of the most important events of our lives easily the most memorable one.

Now, I’m clearly biased. I think it was the greatest and most beautiful wedding to which I’ve ever been, in no small part due to the tireless and infinitely, impossibly, gracious hosting done by every member of Zion Springs. Sure, it was our wedding. Of course we thought it was beautiful. But almost every guest there independently told us so as well. Just another day for Jon, Elise, Daniel, Chris and the whole crew.

That’s not to say that they were not on point, they were. They covered every detail imaginable, and they did so with casual confidence, a graceful ease that comes with successfully delivering on dreams hundreds of times. Yet they did so with a focus and presence in the moment that honored the preciousness of our event in a way that we didn’t even realize we wanted. To say that we were incredibly happy with the entire experience, is to put it mildly. Words fall short. We are forever grateful, and highly recommend visiting this majestic place as soon as you possibly can. Ask for muffins.

We had the most wonderful experience with Zion Springs. Elise was SO helpful in planning our big day and the entire Tigges family was great! At Zion, you are not just getting a venue, they help with planning almost every single aspect of your big day (or weekend in our case!) and they truly bring your dreams to life. Our wedding day went smoothly and everything was absolutely perfect!

If we had the chance to re-do our wedding day, we would not change a thing. Everything from our very first tour of Zion with Jon, to the extraordinary wedding weekend was phenomenal. Our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful, FUN and delicious our wedding was! From the start, we got such a great vibe working with Jon and his family. Even the staff that is not actually family, is certainly treated like family – and they also made us feel like family while we were there. The entire team puts you at ease and makes the whole process of wedding planning a breeze. We worked extremely close with our remarkable and competent wedding planner, Elise, who managed to pull together exactly what we wanted, within our budget. We got married on 5/5/17 (Cinco de Mayo) and Zion really helped us to incorporate fun, yet very tasteful details into our special day. We had a happy hour before the ceremony serving margaritas and sangria and light food on the patio. It was a great way to set the mood for the rest of the evening, and allowed guests to greet each other and mingle. We had a photo booth with Cinco de Mayo-themed props. Anna even made churros from scratch to go along with our donut and ice-cream bar for dessert. They were beyond amazing and added an unexpected twist to the end of the night. I can’t mention the desserts without talking about the incredible meal Anna and team put together. So many guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. One of the greatest perks at Zion is hosting an entire wedding weekend for your close friends and family who are lucky enough to stay on-site. We have so many wonderful memories from our rehearsal and day-of festivities. It was really special having everyone together for an extended period of time. The grounds, guest rooms, patios (with fire pits) and communal spaces were perfectly designed to host such events and it shows. I cannot recommend Zion Springs highly enough, I keep hoping we’ll get invited to another wedding there so we can experience it all over again.

From our very first visit, we were blown away with Zion Springs. It's not only a gorgeous venue (and getting better as they are constantly working to improve it), but the level of service and all that they offer are top notch, especially for the price. We not only had a wedding day, but an entire wedding weekend. Our friends and family were able to stay onsite the entire time, and we didn't feel rushed or stressed out by a crazy tight timeline. We also had the freedom to bring in whatever beer, wine, and liquor we wanted, which was very important to us as we had specific beers we wanted to serve (including a homebrew). No matter what we wanted to do, the team at ZS were willing to work with us to make it happen. It truly was our dream wedding!

Beyond the venue itself, the team is what truly make ZS such a wonderful place to get married. This is definitely a family business and we started to feel like part of the family from Day 1. Jon and Chris were so welcoming, and their daughter (Anna) is an exccellent chef. Our wedding meal was actually delicious (first time I have been to a wedding where I can say that). On top of that, Jon, Daniel, and Elise are the all-stars here. They were involved in helping us envision and plan our wedding more than a year before the big day. As it approached, they seemed to go into superhero mode, putting together all the details and executing the plan flawlessly. We had nothing to worry about with them in charge and I was WAYYY less stressed than I would have thought I'd be. Cannot thank them enough!

I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here if you can find an open weekend on their schedule. They book up early and for good reason!!

From planning to execution, every step at Zion springs was covered with professionalism, courtesy, and in a timely fashion. Our special weekend was nothing short of breathtaking and could not have been better. Absolutely an experience that will not be forgotten! Highly recommend!

As a corporate event planner, I did not want to stress out over another event that I had to plan. Zion Springs was the first (and only) venue that we looked at. After meeting with Jon and his team, we knew that having our wedding at Zion Springs would be amazing. We made the big decisions (colors, flowers, cake, catering) and they handled the rest. We are both one of six siblings and we wanted to be able to share the entire weekend with our families, not just a couple of hours at the ceremony and reception. Elise was our wedding planner and she was the BEST! She handled all of the details and I didn't have to worry about anything. Everything was perfect! We (along with our guests) had the best time. We will be back for our anniversary.

If you want your Special Event to be truly Special, look no further then Zion Springs! Owners and Hosts Chris and John Tigges have it down and down pat! We recently held a wedding with about 70 friends and family and it was marvelous. Having the Bed & Breakfast and additional rooms at The Barn on site made for a very convenient and comfortable stay, very much a friendship and family atmosphere! The Barn is a spacious and beautiful structure for any event. The outside patios, gardens, fire pit and kitchen – cooking BBQ and stone oven pizza – just make it all come together. There is even a space for inside dining, The Garden Room, where guests can gather afterwards. Attention to detail is what it’s all about at Zion Springs. The Staff are courteous and efficient all due to Cara who plans the events and Daniel who is the service manager. Breakfast, and plenty of it, is served up by Chief Anna who is wonderful at creating all the right Breakfast treats from eggs to waffles. We could not be happier with our time at Zion Springs and highly recommend this special, friendly and personal venue to anyone who wants to get away, enjoy a memorable event and just relax! If I could give more stars to Zion Springs I would. Thinking about a venue in this area? Stop right now & make an appt to tour ZS. They have a stunning barn, 5-star overnight accommodations, & beautifully landscaped property. My husband Dave & I scheduled 3 venue visits in 1 weekend, with ZS being the 2nd venue. After our tour, Dave & I got in our car. At virtually the same time said, "we have to go back in and reserve this place. This is IT." We went back in & told owner Jon Tigges that we had to book at that very moment.----The 3-fold wedding experience (Dream, Design, & Deliver) that Jon & Chris Tigges, & coordinator Emily Tigges have created is truly unique; the planning and execution couldn't have gone any smoother. No detail was overlooked. A Smartsheet, face-to-face & "virtual" meetings, & emails flew back & forth between all of us. There was never a delay in their response time. We loved the on-site "free store" where you can use seemingly unlimited decorations from previous weddings (i.e. table runners, votives, chalkboards, tulle, wine barrels, etc...). What a money saver to borrow items & leave ones you purchased for your own wedding.---One of the additional perks of ZS is that you rent the venue from Friday @ noon to Sunday @ noon. There is no rush associated with executing & packing up your wedding in 6 or 8 hours. You and your on-site guests can enjoy a "home away from home" for the entire weekend. Emily & her team set up EVERYTHING and packed up after the event. I didn't lift a finger during set up or break down. Breakfasts were nothing less than scrumptious. Chris & team accommodated every kind of dietary request.---Now to ZS's catering: BEST wedding food. DON'T get any other caterer. Seriously. We had BBQ @ rehearsal dinner & wood-fired pizza for reception. Rich, Thad, & their incredible team worked seamlessly to deliver a truly delightful culinary experience.----Wanna know my only beef right now? Weddingwire won't let me write more. How rude.

I dreamed up my perfect wedding weekend and the staff at Zion Springs blew it out of the water. Honestly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience and all of the incredible people who were a part of it. I knew Zion was a special place immediately upon walking on the grounds, not just because we were surrounded by natural beauty, but because we were greeted with warmth and love. John & Chris made us feel right at home from the start and made it very clear they wanted to help us plan a wedding that was uniquely us. A very big priority for my fiancé and I was to have a place not only to wed but to party with our family and friends; the weekend was about us, but also about the union of two families and spending as much time as we could together with them. That was the best part about getting married at Zion Springs; our wedding wasn't just a few hours, it was a weekend-long celebration with our closest family and friends. Jon and his team made the process of planning wedding a piece of cake (pun intended?). Jon, Elly, and Rich took a lot of time to help understand what our vision was and what our priorities were. Elly was our coordinator and helped me when I didn't understand where to start in the whole design process. It was like she brought Pinterest and Etsy to life! Rich helped us plan a menu that knocked our socks off - but that didn't crush our wallets. He even made sure my dream of having late night Taco Bell on my wedding night came true. Jon paid close attention to the details that would set our wedding apart from other "cookie cutter" weddings - always with enthusiasm and positivity. They kept us on track with friendly reminders and meetings to ensure we met deadlines. I could write a novel on how wonderful Zion Springs is, but there is a character limit on this review so I have to wrap up. Bottom line: this is not only the most gorgeous venue you could imagine, but it's run by wonderful people who will help you have the best day ever.

So...our son and "new daughter" recently celebrated THE most beautiful wedding at Zion. Our Bride and Groom discovered an incredible venue, complete with lush green open spaces and flowering gardens, where, they, and our two families, wedding party, and friends gathered for several days to experience much laughter,love,hugs...fun,quality "FAM" time. We played hard all of the days we were there, from wiffle and bocce ball,frisbee golf,cornhole,basketball,spike ball, to cards and backgammon. We sat around the firepit, ,took walks through the small fruit orchard and walnut trees, and jumped on the rope swing across the creek. We had no reason to leave, content to settle in to our respective barn rooms for a nap, reading, or just a little time-out. Our hostess/co-owner, Chris Tigges, and her sous chefs (to much credit is due), prepared an awesome, abundant, scrumptuous breakfast daily, served in the Tigges' own kitchen, personal and homey for us to gather each morning. We had take-out Thai dinner, and ,our new "Mr. and Mrs." even had Taco Bell delivery post wedding. We used on-site Zion's catering for both the rehearsal dinner and reception, delicious. Exceptional organizing by co- host/ co-owner Jon (AKA DJ extraordinaire), wedding planner Elly, and manager hubby Rich Sullivan. We are going to look back on this epic,magical, wedding "weekend" journey for many years to come , as our son, new "daughter", and our two families, were joined with much love!!!!!!! -Susan

We did a corporate event for Christmas and it was an amazing place to have a Christmas party, the Barn was amazing, simply beautiful. The food was delicious the servers were awesome, we literally had to show up, the Tigges' took care of all the details and made our event the best we could have had. I would highly recommend as it is a very personal and customer focused experience. I wish more businesses worked like Zion Springs.

We had our wedding at Zion Springs in April 2017. We started planning with the Tigges' family back in May of 2016. Jon and Chris were SO awesome and kind. The whole experience was so wonderful because they spent real quality time with you, asking you what you wanted to get out of the wedding, what mattered most to you, and not just making it about money, fees, or a business deal. Real heart and soul went into this wedding down to the last detail. The venue was gorgeous, a beautiful rustic but classy barn with perfect lights and a wagon wheel chandelier. The property has breathtaking green landscape and is so peaceful. The B&B part was wonderful too. The rooms were clean and cozy and breakfast was delicious! Our overnight guests felt so at home at the B&B and breakfast table, not to mention felt like family as the wedding details were rehearsed and executed. Our wedding guests loved loved loved their experience too. We had rain, (the first spring rain wedding of their existence), and it was not only executed perfectly, but it was so cozy moving the wedding inside.The slate patio out back makes a lovely wedding area but once again, we were given the day we were given so we were blessed by it. (Brides, wait til you see the steps you'll be walking down!). As far as the rest of the gang goes, this venue provides the wedding planner and the DJ in their package and you will not be disappointed. We so loved working with them. The personal touches and relationships developed are for a lifetime. The venue caters as well using their fire pit and brick oven so we had excellent BBQ for our wedding dinner and pizza for the rehearsal dinner. Everyone raved about the food on both nights! Highly recommend using their catering for sure...just rent fancy plates using Goodshuffle to keep it classy. (I also went through Goodshuffle to rent vintage items from Something Vintage). It's a really cool site too! Jon T even suggested the photographer and I can't rave enough about them as well.

Zion Springs made for a beautiful wedding venue! I chose this location because I didn't like the idea of having to set up and be out (and all cleaned up) within an 8-hour winow like many of the other venues in the area. I also liked the fact that Jon and his team serve as your wedding planners, day-of coordination, servers, bartenders, and dj- and they did not disappoint! When you have a wedding there, you rent out all four B&B rooms from Friday to Sunday, which makes for a great wedding weekend. Jon and Chris (the B&B owners) opened their home to us all weekend, served amazing breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and really went the extra mile to make everything very special. We got so many compliments on the gorgeous venue.

Our experience with Zion Springs was unforgettable. We almost didn't have a wedding but Jon was very helpful and Zion Springs made it possible. Jon and Chris were amazing to work with. From start to finish the process was well managed and as stress free as it could be. The wedding turned out to be better than we could have imagined, we could not have asked for more. They were a real blessing to us and my family. We felt very special throughout the entire process and highly recommend choosing Zion Springs over any other venue in the DMV area. The values and the genuine importance of marriage that Jon and Chris have, set Zion Springs apart from any other venue in the area.

This review is long overdue, but it's a much deserved 5-star review that needs to be written, so here goes! I first visited Zion Springs on a day when there was enough snow on the ground to barely allow us to view the venue. What sold me on the venue were the warm, kind and generous owners, Chris and Jon, and the peace I felt walking into their beautiful home. Granted - the bonuses they offer: sound, an emcee, a big tent, multiple ceremony sites, a gorgeous 10 acre property, coordination with vendors, planning assistance, 4 B&B rooms for the entire weekend (which were awesome!), amazing breakfasts cooked by Chris, etc, also makes this venue very appealing!
There were some unexpected challenges during the final few days before the wedding, but this is truly when Chris and Jon shined. They stepped up, held a meeting with all of our vendors and ensured that our wedding would be a success. When the weather then took a turn for the worse (hello hurricane?) and our beautiful outdoor event had to become an ALL under the tent fiesta, they bent over backwards to ensure that this didn't hinder our special day either. The guests were happy, comfortable, dry and as warm as possible (who could predict 40 degree weather with a hurricane in October?). I know that if we had selected another venue, our wedding would have been a disaster. Only with the absolutely outstanding assistance of Chris, Jon, and their entire wonderful family (hello Emily - their fantastic planner daughter!), our wedding was described as "beautiful," "fun" and a "night to remember" by so many guests. Guests said it was the best wedding they'd been to in a long time. Don't hesitate to select Zion Springs as your venue. It's so much more than a venue, it's almost like holding your wedding at a beloved family member's home! We could not have asked for a better outcome on our special day.

From our first meeting we knew we wanted to have our wedding and reception at Zion Springs. The venue is not only gorgeous, but the family who run the property provide so many value-added services it's incredible. They have equipment and services in house that you do not have to worry about coordinating outside vendors. For anything they do not have, they have a listed of vendors who they have great relationships with so there was no need for us to be involved other than to make the decisions. The property is beautiful and the additional decorations they have available allow you to create the exact look you want for your day. Since they are a Bed and Breakfast our bridal party was able to stay with us and it allowed for the celebration to begin with them on Friday before the wedding and continue to Sunday. Additionally, breakfast each morning was delicious! They were very responsive to any email we sent and were quick to assist us if we had changes. Most importantly they made us feel like part of their family for the weekend, which allowed us to relax and really enjoy every part of our celebration. They executed everything we wanted, within budget, and all of our family and friends said we had the most beautiful and fun day. It wouldn't have been possible without the Zion Springs team!

Kevin and I could not have found a more fitting venue for our summer wedding. Zion Springs Bed and Breakfast offered more than just a beautiful landscape for our ceremony and reception; they opened their doors to our family and friends and truly made everyone feel as though our wedding was being held in our own backyard. What was unique about our experience is that Zion Springs hardly considers your wedding a production. Rather, they consider it a celebration, and valuable time to share with your family and friends. Whereas most wedding venues limit your celebration to a rigid time block, Chris and Jon opened their home and their bed and breakfast rooms to our families for the entire weekend. They were even willing to shift their schedules around so we could be married on a Friday evening, as the date had a lot of significance for us. Because of this, things felt so much more relaxed, which created a really fun atmosphere and a great vibe the whole weekend. Not to mention, Chris made the most delicious breakfasts for all of our guests staying the night…French toast croissants, with strawberries and whipped cream, scrambled eggs, and bacon…I’m hungry just thinking about it. We were spoiled! Aside from their hospitality, the Tigges worked so diligently in the heat of the summer to ensure the property was in pristine shape for our HOT July wedding. The flowers, the walnut grove, and the open green meadows that surround the bed and breakfast provide such a picturesque landscape, and embodied everything I had envisioned about having a true backyard, garden wedding. They also have a variety of in-house décor that is available for use, and an amazing new business partner, Bart Murnion, who will guide you every step of the way to make sure the wedding, and the entire weekend goes off without a hitch. We could not have asked for a more memorable weekend with our loved ones, and can’t wait to relive the day through pictures!

Simply amazing. Zion Springs & Everheart teams were delight to work with and we could not be more satisfied with how wonderful and enjoyable our wedding weekend festivities turned out. I loved that we were able to enjoy the entire B&B space to ourselves from Friday to Sunday and they were extremely flexible and accommodating to our needs and requirements (early deliveries, equipment pickups). This sure made our wedding planning stress-free and in fact actually quite enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and charming decorated with beautifully handpicked antique furnitures. My makeup artist loved the large room upstairs which was filled with natural sunlight, perfect for her work. The B&B is situated on a large property with a beautifully maintained garden, small orchard, peaceful creek, breathtaking walnut trees across parking lot, and much much more.

Zion Springs Bed & breakfast is a beautiful place to have a wedding. You get the beautiful country feel, along with amazing wedding pictures. They have a tent, chairs, tables, dance area, sound system,and lighting ready for use if needed. They also have, a bridge, creek, open fields and trees to capture stunning photos.

My wedding went fantastic; the owners Jon and Chris Tigges are amazing honest people that love to have weddings at their beautiful place.

Zion Springs Bed & Breakfast is wonderful. Not only as a beautiful wedding venue, but also as a top-notch bed & breakfast. The care they provide, the concern they have for you, and the experience you receive is unparalleled. Growing up in Virginia, we knew that we wanted to get married in the sunny hills of Virginia's countryside. We were cheerfully greeted by Chris & Jon, the homeowners who immediately greeted us with some fresh coffee and homemade muffins. We spent the morning walking the vast property - scouting ceremony & reception sites, walking the beautiful orchard, inspecting the 4 B&B's large, well-kept suites, and getting to know the couple. The suites are set adjacent to the main home (separated by an enclosed breezeway room), in a spectacularly renovated 3-story barn structure. 2 upstairs, and 2 downstairs. We had a list of over a dozen places in Western Loudoun County to visit. After getting to know the family, and being floored by the venue's many, many offerings, we couldn't have imagined a better place to spend our big day. Chris & Jon were very responsive to our many questions, and were flexible in coordinating what felt like half a dozen site visits. They listened to our needs, and helped us plan a perfect day. We awoke onsite the day of our wedding (after an incredible breakfast!), and the skies started to darken. The forecast was for rain. Jon and his children wasted no time - starting at 7am! - readying the site. They wanted to make sure that our outdoor ceremony and partially tented reception would still go off without a hitch. To no one's surprise, it poured almost the entire night. But you would've thought we planned for it all along by the party that we had under that tent. Jon, Chris, and their family are a HUGE reason our rainy day wedding was a success. Not only do I recommend Zion Springs (as both a wedding venue and B&B), but I strongly encourage you to visit. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely perfect venue - were able to be on site from noon Friday thru noon Sunday - held rehearsal and dinner on site (cook-out), bonfire, complete flexibility and access for the wedding day - with gorgeous grounds and landscaping. Out of town family of groom stayed on site, had scrumptious gourmet breakfasts. The owners were always there - helping, giving assistance and advice...thinking of things we may have forgotten and generally making sure our day was perfect! Great value, great location and absolutely gorgeous venue!

What an amazing experience! My son and Daughter in law Anne chose Zion- a venue that they could have all weekend that could accommodate their entire bridal party/spouses of 29. We booked before the barn was built and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We did not want a "rustic" wedding and opted to have a black tie optional extravaganza and Zion stepped up and delivered. First, designer Elise was AWESOME and was able to make Anne's visions come to life. She knew how to handle every detail and set up the barn to achieve the magical setting we had envisioned. She organized all design elements and made great suggestions for vendors and ways to achieve the desired look at the best price. Plus, her services and expertise were included in the price of the venue. Rich, the caterer, also hit a home run. Our kids had the coolest ideas and Rich delivered. We had very heavy apps (raw bar, popcorn chicken, mini cheesesteaks, charcuterie, and several other passed apps) and cocktails for two hours followed by a family style seated pasta dinner and ended with late night BBQ. At the rehearsal dinner, Rich made amazing wood fire pizzas. The owners Chris and Jon ran the whole show with precision and care and ensured it all ran smoothly. Chris handled the breakfasts and the b&b side of things and The entire group that stayed there loved the breakfasts and the ability to all be together for the entire weekend. They had plenty of room for the whole bridal party to get ready and do hair, makeup etc. No details were forgotten...great lighting, fantastic DJ, wonderful bartenders and servers. Jon runs the event and inspires complete confidence in him and the entire team and they definitely exceeded all expectations. We really did show up and enjoy the entire weekend which shows their dedication to your event and the preplanning necessary to pull this off. We could not have had a better wedding experience anywhere and would HIGHLY recommend Zion to make your bridal dreams come true

Zion Springs is a beautiful location with a wonderful staff. They are all extremely helpful at making sure all your wedding dreams come true. All of my guest were extremely excited about the venue. Highly recommend this location!

Zion Springs was the perfect setting for our wedding. I was skeptical about the "all inclusive wedding" at first, but let me tell you, they really have it down! For those type A brides, this is the place for you - you get 3 or 4 in person meetings with owner and wedding manager and they really help to keep you on schedule! They know just what to ask and give suggestions that you would never have thought of. The BEST part was that you get the venue from Friday at noon until Sunday at noon. Compared to all the other venues that give you a 10 hour window to include setup and takedown, having the place the whole time put me at ease. As part of the contract, you are required to reserve the 4 suites they have, but that worked out great for my husband and I and some of our wedding party. The landscaping is beautiful and there are a million great photo ops. The team not only keeps you on track but will help you with anything you need - I ordered bulk flowers and they even made the table arrangements for me. Part of the package is that they include the DJ (who was great) as well as servers, etc. The servers aren't professionals, but it seemed like everything went well and our buffet was kept stocked, and the bartenders did a great job! The overall value is tough to beat - and I looked! :) The make your wedding a fun experience instead of just renting you a place for a day. I can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary!

The staff at Zion was committed to helping my husband and I have the most care-free and enjoyable weekend possible leading up to the wedding. They made accommodations for my weird allergies, relatives who had a harder time with mobility, and our short timeframe provided for planning a wedding in. Our wedding planner, Elise, was the main reason we were so happy with Zion Springs. She was on top of every detail, took time to meet with us about things, answered every text and email, and did it all while making us feel so welcomed and cared for. The food was amazing, and the location was stunning. If you're looking for a place to take care of every wedding detail you've seen couples agonize over in a Hallmark movie while still ending up with a wedding that feels just as personal as you and your s/o, look no further.

The factor that puts Zion Springs above other venues is the help you get from the entire family at the B&B. They will help coordinate throughout the entire process. They take care of arranging the catering, shuttles, DJ waitstaff and more. Their help was priceless on the wedding weekend.

While this venue has a beautiful appearance, it cannot cover up the gouging by the owner, staff turnover, strong arm sales tactics, and poor financial management.

The yearlong process of planning was almost done (with a great deal of stress due to change in staff and Jon, the venue owner wanting to control - and profit from - almost every aspect of the wedding. With a little more than 4 weeks to go, 175 guests confirmed, we were certain that despite the challenges, it would be a perfect day!

Unfortunately, our country was devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic and we were forced to postpone the April event. We all worked to reschedule the wedding and settled on a date in August. By mid-summer we all realized that this virus still had a terrible hold on our country and it wouldn’t be safe to have the wedding. At this time, the State was not allowing indoor gatherings, but Jon was willing to bend rules that made us feel uncomfortable hosting our guests.

Zion Springs had obviously suffered serious financial harm from the shutdown (like so many!) and Jon was resistant to our postponing again. In evaluating our options, we asked him for 2021 options and were only given an early April date (way too cold for an outdoor wedding!) When pressed for a warmer date we were verbally told we would need to pay a premium to help him recover from the shutdown, which he estimated to be an additional $20,000!

We were incredulous – but asked him to put our options in writing – which we received the following day:
1. Keep the planned August 2020 date (impossible because of Covid)
2. Re-schedule to early April 2021 for same price (way too cold) OR
3. If we re-scheduled to a “premium date” – he would require us to “pay in full by August 1, 2020”

At this point it was clear, Jon was not willing to return any portion of our deposit, and was adamant on getting as much money from us as possible up-front. We had concerns that the venue would not be open in the summer of 2021.

From the parents of the bride:
"Just the idea of us handing over all the money we had saved for our daughter’s wedding nearly a year in advance so that he could float his business was reprehensible to say the least. We were all sadly convinced that he provided us no viable options – and we needed to forgo our plans of holding our daughter’s wedding at Zion Springs."

Every other vendor has worked with us to return all or an equitable share of any deposits paid. Zion Springs refuses to refund us ANY of the monies we paid as a deposit for services we never received. This amounted to more than $15,000!

Be very careful of any contract you sign with Zion Springs!
