Walnut Grove is a beautiful place for any event. We used the site for a wedding/elopement and working with Ian and his team was amazing. The site is beautiful and offers great views of the surrounding countryside to use as a backdrop for amazing photos! I highly recommend checking them out. 

Canaan Springs was truly the perfect place to get married. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, the mountains create the most stunning backdrop, and every corner feels like something out of a postcard. Beyond the beauty, what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Everyone there made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our day even more special. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or welcoming place to say “I do.” Highly recommend!

We booked Marriott Ranch about a year in advance. We did the weekend package so our whole bridal party could stay together on site. We worked with Stephanie and when she left, Jordan took over a few months before the wedding. It made me nervous. I had no reason to be, Jordan and his staff were absolutely amazing. They were communicative and organized. Our wedding went literally perfectly, not a single thing went wrong and it was due to their professionalism. The food is amazing, easily the best wedding food I've ever had and multiple people mentioned it to me. We loved the house, the wedding site by the tree, and the reception pavilion. I also felt like it was a really good value and very fairly priced. We did our rehearsal dinner there as well and it was gorgeous and excellent. I feel incredibly blessed to have been married at Marriott Ranch and I would recommend them to anyone.

We could not have enjoyed Riverside on the Potomac more. The property is absolutely beautiful, the owners were great to work with, and everything was perfect. Would recommend this place to anyone!

After a long two days of touring venues, the moment we stepped out of the car outside of the office, we knew we didn't even need a tour: this was our place. We were married at River's Bend 14 months later in October of 2025. We took the whole ranch package for the weekend and it could not have been more perfect! Caroline and the staff were amazing, responsive, accommodating, and kind. The venue itself is stunning -- the photos speak for themselves, and even then, it is more beautiful in person. Our entire weekend was just amazing and we can't wait to be back to celebrate anniversaries in the future. Many of our guests said, "How did you find this place? It's perfect!" and they are right. If you are looking for a mini destination wedding weekend that you want to make fully your own -- check out the ranch.

Great venue! We had our wedding there Nov 5, 2022. Ken, Laurie and their team were amazing. They made things go smoothly! They don’t have a set catering list which was nice. We were able to choose whomever we wanted. We also were able to provide our own alcohol, as long as you have a licensed bartender! Anytime I had a question they were quick to get back to me. We only used the reception part of the venue but still rented the bridal suite. It was great because it gave us a place to settle down before the reception started. The venue had a bar stand which was very convenient. Ken even let us rent a container where we were able to put ice / drinks in. (Pic added) We rented the fire pits as well. They were smaller than I thought, but it was nice for our friends that wanted to hang out over there. The inside of the venue is so beautiful we didn’t even need to decorate much! The venue fits up to 200 guests!

Seneca Creek is an absolutely beautiful venue that offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural elegance. From the spacious, cozy lodge to the airy outdoor tent pavilion, every detail of the space is thoughtfully maintained and ideal for weddings or other special gatherings. We rented it for my sons wedding reception. Guests were impressed by the scenic setting and the seamless combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is also a great value, with inclusive options like tables and chairs that make planning easier. With enough room to comfortably host around 90-100 guests, Seneca Creek is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-run location to celebrate a special day. Highly recommended!

We literally booked with Stillwater a week after getting engaged and they were the second venue we called. The funny thing is that about a month or so after we booked, the venue actually changed ownership, which was a little scary at first. Once everything with the sale of the venue was finalized, Michelle, the new owner, reached out via phone. Long story short on that part, she did a wonderful job catching up and filling in the blanks in our initial phone call which laid a great foundation for moving forward in our planning process. So first things first, the price was unbeatable for a Friday wedding. Second, we had so much freedom to make the wedding everything we wanted. And Michelle and her husband are hands down absolutely fantastic! We were their first wedding but you would have had no idea that it was actually their first rodeo. Communication: it was absolutely excellent! A majority of our communication with Michelle was via text or phone calls, but sometimes things required an email, but she always responded quickly. Very seldom did it take a day or two for her to get back to us. Plus, they allowed us to come up a few times to take photos and walk through ideas we had for set up. We don’t think communication could have been any better. Right now, the venue does not have your traditional bridal suite and mancave for everyone to get ready in, but Michelle allowed us to use a part of their basement, which solved the only thing we were initially worried about. So the men got ready in the reception barn bathrooms and the women used the basement (which they cleaned up, had music playing, mirrors, lights, and little goodies). We used the covered pavilion for our ceremony which is located just behind their house. The close proximity was perfect for scooting up to the location for first look photos and then being able to quickly make our way down for the ceremony. Michelle and her husband helped us with setting things up and tearing things down, plus their maintenance guy was there to help out too. They allowed us to come up the day before our wedding to do as much setting up as we wanted. The grounds were freshly mowed, bathrooms and reception barn were thoroughly cleaned, and they cleaned off the covered pavilion too! One of the huge time savers: while guests enjoyed cocktail hour and we took our photos, they took care of cleaning up the pavilion and taking our decorations up to our truck so we did not have to tear down in the dark at the end of the night. Considering we were exhausted by the end of the evening, this was a major blessing. If you have elderly guests or guests with limited mobility, they have a Kubota RTV, which they used to transport our guests from the parking field down to the pavilion and up to the reception barn. The property itself is stunning. There are so many fantastic spots for your photos. We opted to use the covered pavilion for our ceremony and the barn for our reception because of the flexibility in case the weather didn’t cooperate. But, if you want the full outdoorsy ceremony, there are a few spots that would be perfect. In fact, if you want everything to be outside, you can do that. Michelle was willing to run an extension cord from their house to the pavilion if we needed it, so if you wanted the reception in the pavilion, it is possible! If you are getting married during the heat of the summer, the pavilion also has misters installed, but we did an early October wedding so we did not need them. We really can’t brag enough about how amazing Stillwater is as a venue and how smoothly everything went because of Michelle and her family. They definitely have a passion for this and an eagerness to make your day as special as possible. We had a small wedding so the tables and chairs they provided, at no additional cost, were also a lifesaver! Because we had a dry wedding, our “cocktail” hour looked more like a backyard BBQ, which fit perfectly for the theme/vibe we were going for, so they actually had giant lawn games and cornhole set up for our guests to play while we took photos. Not to mention the beautiful string lights inside and outside, helped add an extra touch. Michelle also in a way assumed the role of wedding coordinator. She helped keep things rolling in our planning process and the day of our wedding. Stillwater provides couples with so much flexibility to do things as simple or overtop as you want. They did not nickel and dime us for anything. They had tables and chairs we could use, lawn games, and even tiki torches, just to name a few things, that were all made available for us to use at no additional cost. We had the freedom to use any vendors we wanted too. We appreciated all of the freedom we had to make our wedding reflect who we are as a couple. We highly recommend Stillwater. You seriously will not be disappointed.

We had a two-day wedding weekend at Rosemont Manor and Springs Barn and could not have asked for a more beautiful or supportive venue experience. We hosted our Haldi ceremony outdoors on Friday followed immediately by our Sangeet inside the Carriage House. On Saturday, we held our wedding ceremony in the Carriage House and our reception at Rosemont Springs Barn. We also booked all of the housing available on the property for our guests. We had one guest house for groomsmen, one guest house for bridesmaids, and another guest house/the manor for immediate family. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Between the historic manor, the Carriage House, the grounds, and the Springs Barn, every space felt elegant, well maintained, and incredibly special. The venue is especially well suited for larger weddings and multi-day events. While the manor accommodations are definitely on the more expensive side, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and very well kept. The breakfast served at the manor each morning was also excellent and accommodating to a variety of dietary restrictions, which our guests really appreciated. What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was the staff and coordination. Collette was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process and wedding weekend. She was always available to answer questions or talk through ideas leading up to the event, and she struck the perfect balance between allowing us to be heavily involved in planning while also taking initiative and going above and beyond what we expected. She handled so many moving pieces seamlessly, including setting up décor for both the Haldi and Sangeet, accommodating last-minute guest count adjustments, coordinating with all of our vendors, and managing our timeline across both days. Our ceremony was originally planned for the Manor’s East Lawn, but due to weather we ultimately pivoted to the indoor rain plan in the Carriage House. The transition was handled as smoothly as we could have possibly hoped for. Collette waited as long as possible before making the final call so we still had every chance for an outdoor ceremony, and once the decision was made, everything was reorganized quickly and professionally without adding stress to our day. More than anything, the entire team made us feel genuinely cared for. Collette helped create such a collaborative and supportive environment between us and our vendors, and it truly felt like everyone was working together to make the weekend special. We are so grateful for all of the care, effort, and attention that went into making our wedding weekend unforgettable.

The staff and owners at Zion Springs are second to none. The wedding was flawlessly conducted. Repeated comments from guests were that everything flowed so smoothly. And the photographer was great, too! He got super pictures and managed to be unobtrusive at the same time. Thank you to everyone at Zion Springs…you made my daughter’s special day perfect!!
