  The BEST Event Coordinator in Charlottesville, VA

  My husband and I got married at Common House in Charlottesville in March of 2023. Nichole did an amazing job helping us organize everything leading up to and during our wedding day. She was very quick to respond to all of our emails and questions throughout the planning process. Before the wedding she met with us at the venue and knew all the right questions to ask in preparation for the event. She made us a timeline and contacted our other vendors to coordinate all the details. On our wedding day, Nichole handled everything from setup to breakdown and made sure to check in with us throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and Nichole had a large part in making that happen. On top of being great at her job Nichole is such a sweetheart and you can tell she cares about the people she’s working with. I highly recommend booking her for any events!

  Best investment for our wedding

  We absolutely loved working with Nichole. She is super down to earth, honest person. We hired her as our month of coordinator for our wedding and she was kind enough to always be available via email leading up to the month of to offer feedback and suggestions on our planning. Then starting a little over a month out, she offered a few calls to just run through all the details and make sure we had thought of everything. In terms of the day of efforts, Nichole was a total Rockstar! She handled everything from coordination with our vendors, décor set up, timeline management, and cat herding (getting all the right people in the right place at the right time). She allowed us to just kick back relax on our wedding day and cannot recommend her enough!

  Super Grateful

  Nichole made my now wife and I feel like we were her most important wedding when we reached out to her. Overwhelmed by work and my wife's pregnancy, my wife and I had no bandwidth to prepare for the wedding. So with 2 weeks before the big day, we reached out to Nichole and she gave us the reassurance that everything was going to be taken care! Thanks to her, the wedding was perfect! Her prices are great and her planning capability is unmatchable.

  10/10 - Nichole is a godsend!

  Every bride needs a Nichole at their wedding. My god, she was absolutely amazing! Kind but take charge, she ran the show with poise and a smile. I’m so grateful she was a part of our wedding day. I know making so many decisions about your wedding is stressful, but I assure you that you don’t need to worry about Nichole. She’s a rock star!

  Perfect Wedding Coordinator

  My husband and I were on a very tight schedule for our wedding (trying to plan it in 5 months). We were most concerned about trying to find a coordinator for our big day within budget and time frame. When we found SavvyAffairs it seemed almost too good to be true - they offered everything we were looking for. Working with SavvyAffairs was absolutely amazing to say the least! Our coordinator Nichole went above and beyond for us leading up to, and especially on, our big day. From setting up appointment times with vendors, and getting floor plan figured out, to setting up our decorations on our wedding day - Nichole was very professional and got everything done in a timely manner. Additionally, She was very responsive and accommodating with our wedding needs. We cannot say enough great things about SavvyAffairs. My husband and I would definitely recommend hiring SavvyAffairs to anyone in need of a coordinator for any kind of event.

  A pleasure to work with

  Nichole helped us throw a wedding for 120 people at a rural campsite with little infrastructure and limited cell reception in the pouring rain, which also involved putting around 90 people out on boats to travel down the river in rainy weather. She was entirely unruffled by all this, and it went well in large part due to her help. She and Ansley were a pleasure to work with. They immediately got on board with the vision for our wedding and were willing to pitch in wherever needed to make it happen. I could not recommend more highly!

  Everyone should hire Nichole!

  Nichole was our wedding coordinator and she did an absolutely fantastic job! She was communicative, organized, and on top of everything, but also patient, calm, and so fun to work with. She consistently went above and beyond - even until the last minute - to make sure that us and our family had everything we needed. I was left with nothing to worry about on our big day. Nichole was a joy to work with and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  Best choice we made for our wedding

  Choosing Nichole at Savvy Affairs was the best choice we made in our wedding planning (other than choosing each other!).   Nichole was an excellent coordinator! She was very professional and on top of making sure everyone had the schedule, payments, and cues for the reception. But she was also extremely friendly and easy to talk to. My husband and I had a very laid-back style and were overwhelmed with making decisions about the ceremony and reception timeline and Nichole did a great job of giving us input and suggestions from her experience. She also handled some of the awkward family situations very well and made sure no one bothered us with questions on the wedding day. We decided to leave an hour earlier than intended and Nichole gave us the option to refund us the hour we didn't use or she could stay the next hour and help clean up (we asked her to stay and my mom said she was extremely helpful). Both our families said she was lovely and did an excellent job and multiple people complemented me on having such a smooth wedding day!

  Perfect Service

  Nichole was so great to work with. I was so worried about our decorations and flowers since we did them all ourselves. She made sure to meet us when we arrived and helped to get all decorations where they were supposed to go. She checked in with me at every step throughout the day about the timing of events. She let me know what the expected timing was and whether I still wanted to stick with that schedule. We didn't have to worry about a thing because she was always there with the answer. She made sure our drinks were full throughout the night and that anything we needed was taken care of. If you need someone reliable, she is the planner you need.

  Nichole was absolutely amazing. I am so happy we hired her, she truly made everything so easy! I had nothing to stress about on my wedding day because she had everything organized and running smoothly.   20/10 fantastic!

  The only thing I am sorry about is that it took me so long to write this review! If you are even considering hiring a wedding coordinator, please just do yourself a favor and hire Nichole. She was amazing through the entire planning process and the day of. She handled everything with such care and attention you would think it were her own wedding! It was completely worth it to not have to worry about any vendors or time flow or possible issues on our wedding day, knowing that we had someone fantastic on our team to take care of all of those things was such a relief. We 100% got to just sit back and enjoy the day. Nichole is worth every penny PLUS some! Even our family and friends made remarks about how fantastic she was.

  Nichole was an absolutely amazing coordinator! She is kind, warm, organized, and professional. We felt so comfortable working with her. Her help before and during our wedding was truly invaluable. Nichole helped us think through the schedule and flow of our day, contacted each of our vendors the week before the event, and helped make everything run smoothly on the day-of. In the hours right before our ceremony, Nichole organized all the last minute details and really got into the weeds to ensure things were set for us.   Day of coordination- incredible!

  Nichole was an absolute dream to work with. She made our wedding day run so smoothly and stress free. Everything was set up beautifully and she’s and absolute joy. I highly recommend her for any event! I’m going to miss working with her. Also very affordable! Worth every penny.

  Amazingly helpful, she'll make sure your day runs smoothly!

  Nichole was such an amazing help to my wife and I on our big day! She worked with us to help us bring to life our plans for the wedding. She helped coordinate with the DJ and all of the vendors day of to keep everything flowing smoothly. She also helped us to plan out the order of events and times, as well as coorxinate with vendors beforehand to make sure things lined up for the big day. Overall, she did an amazing job and we're so happy she helped us with everything she did. Between my wife and I, she really took the stress away from the both of us, letting us enjoy our wedding day.   Savvy Affairs LLC perfect for your wedding/event needs

  Nichole with Savvy Affairs LLC helped us plan our wedding this past October. We met with Nichole about 9 months before our wedding date in October. We went over just broad ideas of our wedding flow and how much we wanted her to be involved. Then we met with her about 3 months before the wedding to go over details and exchange information such as contacts for our vendors and names of family members and friends that would be involved with our big day. Throughout the months before our 3 month meeting she gave us contact information for vendors and also helped us pick out our table arrangements and other small details that we wanted to use for the big day (we had a Marvel Avengers superhero themed wedding). She also went to our venue during this time and met with the people there to help us pull our vision together of what we wanted for the big day. The last meeting was about a month out before the wedding we went over final details. She was then there during our whole rehearsal we walked thru how everything needed to be for the big day. She also helped us put together decorations for the wedding that needed to be set up before the big day. She was a big help for us because we were able to enjoy ourselves and our family and friends and if anyone needed anything they were able to go to her instead of us.
  Nichole's strengths during the whole process she was extremely organized and helpful from picking out colors that matched to contacting the carter for her arrival with the food. She also helped out the DJ and photographer the day of to make everything run so smooth. Nichole also helped us with all the details during the day of the wedding she checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were doing ok. She was the last person to leave she didn't leave until everything was cleaned up and put away and we were settled into our room for the night. We were able to contact her easily with any concerns or issues that we were having. I understood that she worked and had a life as well so sometimes she wouldn't be able to contact us right away but she never left us hanging. Honestly, we can't wait to have another event for her to help us plan. Nichole handled pressure very well, she was very calm and used her knowledge and resources to help when I was freaking out about our flowers. We talked it out and we were able to use the best ones for our wedding. We also had our officiant go to the ER the night before our wedding we didn't know if he would be able to perform the service the next day or not, but she immediately contacted people she knew to see if they would be available for the day or our wedding. As far as talking to large groups we didn't have a huge wedding, but she took charge during the rehearsal and everyone knew what to do and where to stand and it was very organized. She didn't yell at anyone, but she was able to get everyone's attention at the times we needed her too such as making sure everyone was where they needed to be for pictures, dances, toasts, our cake cutting and our send off. I hope this information was very helpful, Nichole was amazing and talked to everyone during the event such as our friends and family members to make sure they were ok during the big day too. As a bride I felt less stress and didn't freak out as much because I knew that things I needed taken care of she could take care of them for me and that was hard for me, I have a hard time delegating tasks to other people I like to just do them myself.
