Adrian is Co-Owner/Co-Founder of A&J and is a Lead Event Planner. She loves the behind the scenes of gathering and organizing information for an event to create detail-heavy timelines which helps the entire vendor team seamlessly execute the day from start to finish.
Adrian has five years of experience in the wedding and events industry. She was a Venue Coordinator for a Central Virginia winery and also served as a Catering Bar Service Manager for the venue's in-house catering program, prior to starting A&J.
Her favorite part of weddings is the reception space reveal when couples and their families see all of their collaborative planning efforts come to light.
When she is not helping to curate weddings and events, Adrian is a full-time early childhood special education teacher. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years, Micah, baby girl, Avery and her fur babies. She also loves traveling and reading for fun when she gets the time.
Jena is Co-Owner/Co-Founder of A&J and a Lead Event Planner. She has worked in the wedding and events industry for five years prior to launching A&J and served as a Venue Coordinator and Catering Staff Manager at a winery in Central Virginia.
She loves working with clients to help them plan their event design and tablescapes. Creating "Vision Boards" for clients to see different design elements come together is her jam! Jena enjoys meeting and working with new couples, families and vendors.
Her favorite part of weddings is the speeches/toasts because she loves the sentimental stories that are often shared about the couple. It makes the day so personal and special!
When Jena is not working with A&J couples and clients, she enjoys spening time with her family, running, practicing yoga and baking gluten free goodness.
"Hi I'm Renee. I've always loved creative things! The beauty of being able to take a blank canvas, add color and texture to it and seeing it come together is amazing! I grew up in church, so we ALWAYS had flowers and food-it was a guarantee. I would constantly play around with the flowes, so the ladies let me help them decorate for the holidays and events. I loved it! My grandma also had a lot of flowers around her house, so you could say that my love for flowers started very early in life."
Renee's favorite part of weddings is starting from a blank slate, making it pretty and seeing the couple's positive reaction to our work.
When Renee is not assisting at a wedding, creating florals or watching your fur babies, she is a full-time Firefighter/EMT and an auntie to a sweet little girl, Avery & two fur babies. She is also an avid hiker and sunset chaser.
