I reserved a block of rooms here for my guests and couldn't have been happier. Because it's a business hotel, the rates are cheapest on the weekend--perfect! It's in a great location, the rooms are clean and spacious, we loved having a kitchen and balcony, and there were a number of little touches that made our stay very comfortable. Everyone went out of their way to be sure that we felt at home and that everything was to our satisfaction. The sales manager even took my family out to breakfast a couple days before the wedding.

Drawbacks: it's across the street from the hospital so you will hear traffic and sirens, but I didn't find it disruptive. Also, the free internet can get slow at peak times. The reservations phone line can get busy--a couple guests were put on hold longer than they would have liked.

Our reception was at the Circle Bistro. Not your typical hotel restaurant, which made it a great reception site. Mayte was great to work with. We had a standing reception with both passed and set food for 100 guests. Chef Cox worked with us to create an excellent menu. Good value for a Sat night reception, and the staff was excellent. Only complaint was that either there was not enough of some menu items, or they did not circulate enough (it was hard to tell which was the case.)

I had my wedding reception through this hotel and was really happy with the entire process. I would recommend them. In D.C. it's pretty competitive so I think they really tried hard to give us great service.
