We are a wedding venue located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, just a 30-minute drive from Washington, DC. Facilities and Capacity
There is a selection of event spaces for couples to choose from inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC North/Gaithersburg. The Majestic Ballroom is best suited for up to 625 people, while the smaller banquet halls can comfortably fit 50 guests. Ceremonies and receptions can take place in one of the five other available rooms, which can accommodate up to 210 loved ones. Throughout each event space, specialty lighting features can be adjusted to your preferences and create a vibrant ambiance for your celebration. Sparkling chandeliers hang above each ballroom's adjacent cocktail area, adding an overtone of elegance. Before the event, couples can prepare for their special day in separate on-site get-ready rooms. The venue's newly renovated ballrooms and guest accommodations offer guests the comfort of modern features and amenities. I think we have lost count how many times we have videotaped Bar/Bat Mitzvah events at this Hilton. I love this hotel for it’s ample free parking and ease of access, not to mention it is only a short drive from my house. Their Catering Manager, Tamara Clarke, is always on hand with her ready smile and can-do attitude. We are glad to have had the privilege of working there so often and look forward to more events in the future. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for plenty of space, a friendly catering and banqueting staff, and, I hear, reasonable event pricing.
