Jamila Married on 09/03/2016We inquired with a few venues in Portland and only Mike Piper at the Elysian Ballroom responded within the hour. My husband and I were so impressed with both the venue and Mike that we not only booked but also decided to use Mike's business (Affair to Remember) for flowers and other rentals. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined and the food was great with guests still complimenting!! My husband and I were not just pleased with the final product but also the service. Mike's team was so efficient having transformed the ballroom from ceremony to reception in less than an hour. Mike was also able to offer creative solutions accommodating both our budget while still supplying high-end rentals and flowers. We highly recommend the Elysian Ballroom and An Affair to Remember! -

There is no one better than Mike Piper at planning and executing a perfect wedding day, from beginning to the end. You can trust his taste and his judgement as he guides you through the entire process of finding the right venders for you; selecting the best in accessories, floral, food... Whether in his own Elysian Ballroom or any other venue (he's worked in them all!), you will never go wrong with Mike. There are other planners/coordinators with comparable skills, for sure. I've worked with them all in my 35 years in the business. Each has their own specific personality and style to set them apart from each other. But no one is better than Mike Piper.
