I recently got married at this location on April 9th. My entire wedding was at the Hilton from two ceremonies, to cocktail hour and reception and a breakfast the next morning. It was the absolute best. All of my guests were happy, comfortable, and most importantly thought the food at my reception for over 300 people was excuisit. I had several resturant owners comment on how delicious the food was and they are hard critics!!
Riva Neam was incredicble and really made my day awesome. She worked with my wedding planner, and was also available to me 24/7. On the actual day...Riva stayed for the ENTIRE event and was visible to check and make sure everything was running smoothly, which I was incredibly greatful for. The rest of the staff wasn't far behind Riva's standard. They made sure all of my guests were well taken care of and really catered to everyone! The venue itself offers variety. The different ballrooms, and the courtyard make for beautiful pictures and exceptional areas. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with my wedding day and a large part of it is because of the Hilton. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for amazing services, awesome customer service, great food, beautiful ballrooms, and cost effectiveness. GREAT value for the cost...GREAT :-)

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton in Rockville and was blown away by the service and attention to detail. After reading the last review I was a little hesitant to book here but then I read further and realized that the bride was crying because she didn't get her room right away and had nothing to say about the wedding itself.
My ceremony was flawless. I did not have a coordinator but Riva Neam (sales coordinator) put everything together for me. She seemed tireless and paid attention to all the details. She made sure that me and my husband had time to ourselves in the holding room and showed us the ballroom before anybody else was in it. And the food was amazing. People were raving about the filet and crab cakes. My mom ordered the vegetarian meal and even she was saying how great it was. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that the wedding was executed flawlessly. Riva was truly the best. I know that her job wasn't to be a coordinator per se, but she was there for me throughout. I know what I compensated her surely wasn't enough! As far as the hotel rooms were concerned, I didn't want to leave! A breakfast in the morning would have been nice, but I'll take what I can get! Thank you Hilton!

I have never posted a review on anything before, but I feel compelled to let others know about the disaster that was my wedding weekend at the Rockville Hilton.
The warning signs were there. Shortly after my fiance and I announced the date and location for the big day, our wedding guests started calling us saying they were having trouble booking rooms at the hotel. Some guests said the reservations desk would claim the hotel was sold out, when it wasn't. Others said they weren't given the reduced wedding block rate. My grandmother said she was given a hard time about trying to book a handicapped room. My fiance and I ended up calling the Hilton and having to work out the issues each time they came up. Frustrated emails from us about the booking problems went unanswered. The day before the wedding, my cell phone started ringing. Our guests were calling saying they were having problems with their reservations. At 5:30 p.m., rooms weren't ready for several of the guests, even though check-in time was 4 p.m. Some of our wedding guests were told by the front desk that they had never made reservations. The wedding welcome bags that my fiance and I had spent a lot of time and money creating weren't given out to many visitors. Although we had called the hotel half a dozen times to make sure all was well with my grandmother's handicapped room - she had problems checking in. She helplessly called me as she was crying in the hotel lobby, saying that the front desk didn't have a room for her and couldn't find her an adequate wheelchair. While all this was happening, I was running around trying to make sure everything was set for the next day. Finally, I got to the Rockville Hilton to check-in to the bridal suite that comes complimentary the night before the wedding. I waited behind a long line at the front desk and told them I was checking in for my wedding the next day. The woman at the desk looked at her computer and I immediately knew there was a problem. The Rockville Hilton didn't reserve a room for me. That's right, THEY HAD NO RESERVATION MADE FOR THE BRIDE THE DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING. I was in disbelief. This was the hotel that we had paid tens of thousands of dollars to for a wedding, and they didn't have a room for me. The employee at the front desk said the hotel was sold out for the weekend. I started crying and ran to the bathroom as my friends and family looked on. I'm not sure what happened as I was crying the day before my wedding in the bathroom of the Rockville Hilton, but my future mother-in-law was able to get me a room at the hotel for that night. Usually brides-to-be don't sleep the night before their wedding because of jitters about the big day. I didn't sleep even one minute because I was so horrified about what happened at the Hilton. To be fair, the ceremony and reception were beautiful and went off without a hitch. But no matter how extraordinary the actual wedding was, my guests and I will always remember the horrendous problems they had with the hotel when they look back on our wedding at the Hilton. Absolutely no one from the hotel has apologized to me or offered any sort of explanation about the treatment my family, friends, and I received at the Rockville Hilton.

Riva was very responsive and attentive. We have a 300+ guest wedding with no wedding coordinator which made it very difficult to coordinate. But Riva did the best she could to accomodate and make sure it went smoothly. I didn't have time to check into the hotel in the morning for me and my fiance. By the time we first got to the hotel, I was already in my wedding gown. The hotel staff made me wait in line to check-in...IN MY WEDDING GOWN MIND YOU...thank goodness my bridesmaid took that responsibility for me.
All of our guests raved about the great meal and service. One thing that really bothered me was having such a large wedding, you would think that the hotel would spring for a buffet breakfast for the couple. Not to mention, the block of rooms offered a rate that was way more than Expedia and Hotels.com. Those websites also offered free breakfast with the rooms booked. When our guests went down for breakfast, the staff didn't aknowledge the included breakfast and REQUIRED me, the bride, to print out all 20 reservations ON MY WEDDING DAY, in order for them to get their free breakfast. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get a day-of coordinator to help with logistics. Otherwise, you spend most of the night stressing over timeline and wedding day logistics!

I think they did a pretty good job with both my ceremony and reception. The only things that upset me was the fact that they loss(trashed) my wedding cake take home boxes. I paid for them to be personalized and I didnt even get an ''I'm sorry'' or ''We will take of it''. I was not given a discount on the venue either. I was dissapponted in the portion size also. When i tasted the food it was filling up the whole plate but when it was served at my wedding it only filled half of the plate. The food tasted pretty good but not as good as it was at the tasting.

We were so pleased to have our wedding ceremony and reception both at the Hilton in Rockville. The ceremony was in the atrium, which was so special and fun, and the reception was in the ballroom. We were so thankful that the Hilton staff was able to work within our budget to provide a wonderful lunch reception to our approximately 200 guests, and a very memorable day for my husband and I! We couldn't have paid the original price that was asked, but when they knew our budget, they showed us other menu options that we could pay for, and the food was GREAT!!! It was an awesome buffet, with wonderful desserts as well. Our guests talked about it for a while afterward :) Some called it the "fairy tale" wedding!

The Hilton Rockville did an amazing job and we were highly pleased. The food and service was high quality and untouchable. From start to finish and even after the reception was over, Riva Neam (Sales Coordinator) was eager to please and ensured happiness throughout. She paid close attention to our wants and needs (details) and went above and beyond. We would highly recommend.

What can I say, Riva is the bomb! She did whatever we wanted and worked with our budget and made the reception just the way we wanted. I cannot even think about one bad thing to say about the reception. She is a very outgoing person who loves her job. Food was great and the ballroom is very classy. I would recommend this place over and over. Riva thanks again for all your hard work!

The Hilton staff did a magnificent job. The wedding coordinator, Riva Neam, was exceptional. She made everything work. She got all the staff at the Hilton to get their jobs done on-time and executed perfectly. The other vendors she recommended also were superb. She really did her homework to give us names of other vendors who did great jobs. We met often with Hilton representatives and they were always responsive and professional in their dealings with me, my wife, my daughter and her fiance. They were extremely flexible and made arrangement for everything we wanted done.

The newly renovated Rockville Hilton is a great place to have a wedding.
The hotel itself is beautiful and located rght outside of Betehsda and DC so there is a lot for out of town guests to do. Your wedding contact at the hotel, Riva Neem, is a true professional who really loves what she does. She was amazing top work with and I was confident everything would run smoothly in her hands. I would recommend her and the Hilton to anyone. My wedding would not have been the same without her help.

Riva was our coordinator and she matched us with two of our vendors. She asked us about our budget and made sure that we were staying in our limits, yet making everything seem as though we spent so much more.
The Hilton provided the food and it was perfect. We got more than we expected for what we paid and everything was done better than we could have ever dreamed! The hotel accommodations were above expectations and reasonably priced!

They were amazing! all we needed to do was to tell them what we wanted and they handled it from there, i was amazed at how easy it all was. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who asks. the best part of the wedding was knowing everything was going to be done how my husband and i wanted and we were able to have peace of mind. I loved it, and all the guests loved it and had a great time!!
