I am astounded by my own disappointment in this company and proprietress. We contracted Georgia based on her reputation as a professional. Her accolades are numerous, as herself promotion is unrelenting.

The contract was her to assist with vendor recommendations, basic planning and day of coordination. Georgia’s sales pitch was that by utilizing her relationships you would make up the difference of her fee. While I did use primarily her vendor relationships our savings did not amount to even half of her fee.

Weddings by Georgia, has an answering service that claims to be part of her staff. Our wedding date got pushed out. When issues where brought to her attention she did try to rectify them. However, actions speak louder than words.
As a planner she did not:
- Make sure that my parents and other important people were present for important things: cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss
- She did not fulfill verbal commitments
- Attempt to assist with Budget Management
- Assist with any aesthetic attributes to the wedding
- Did not confirm that appropriate tasks were done
- At the wedding she did not properly or tactfully manage my guest to the cocktail area. My Husband was very disappointed in this.
- Dress appropriately for a Black Tie Event
She also caused confusion between schedules for the bridal party and their schedules times to be at the venue, the order they stood in, and who walked who down the aisle, ushers vs. groomsmen. Her attention to detail was lacking.

If you do choose to hire make sure she is aware that she works for you!

The worst part was my guests actually said she was rude to them.

When I first set out planning my wedding I had lots of time and wasn't needing a planner. But Murphy's Law struck and suddenly I found myself having to change cities with half as much time to plan! As I was looking for a new reception site, one venue recommended Georgia Watson. At first I was skeptical, wondering whether or not I really needed a planner, even with the time crunch. Looking back now, I don't know where my day would have been without Georgia's help, especially toward the end of the planning process. I hired Georgia with a "pull it together" package rather than full coordination. This allowed me the freedom of her recommendation of vendors and her input on flowers, linens and the "look" of the event. I was so pleased with how the whole event came together! Her organization and style were impeccable and I was truly impressed. She went above and beyond in the last few stages of planning by executing an extremely detailed timeline and dealing with all last minute vendor confirmations. Perhaps the most important aspect of having Georgia as our planner was the relaxation we felt the day of the wedding, knowing that the event was in extremely capable hands, allowing us to simply enjoy the day. Georgia and her assistant dealt with any last minute issues with patience and grace. If you want to not have to worry about anything on the day of your wedding, hire Georgia Watson!

Georgia and her assistant were pleasure to work with! She took care of everything so I could enjoy my day worry free. Having a wedding planner was the best decision I made! Georgia knows her stuff and we greatly appreciated her expertise and advices regarding the vendors, ceremony, etc. She took care of everything from set-up, linens, cake cutting. Georgia was amazing in every way! She is a true professional and master of her trade! She was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She knows how to take your goals and ideas and transform them into a perfectly executed event.

I must have sent a million emails and Georgia always got back with me...I always felt like she was there for me on my every question and concern, or even if I just needed advice or reassurance.

Georgia is a wealth of knowledge...from the 70+ page bridal packet, to the vendor relationships, to her knowledge of timelines...she can truly handle it all!

We had a slight change of ceremony location due to weather and Georgia kept my feelings at ease and handled it with style and grace!

Although she is working on a ton of events, she makes you feel like you are her only client. Not only did I have a great wedding planner, but I also feel like I gained a friend.

Georgia was fabulous throughout the entire planning process. Although I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted, I didn't know how to execute it. Georgia was full of ideas, suggestions, and helpful tips. My wedding day was near perfect because of her thorough planning, hour by hour timeline, and awesome vendor coordination. I never had to worry if the cake was going to show up, or if the florist was on time, because Georgia and her assistant, Corey, took care of every little detail. The peace of mind was well worth the money. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without their help! I was really able to enjoy the day with my family and friends while they took care of the behind the scenes work. Highly recommend!!

We were referred to Georgia through a couple we met - and it was the best wedding investment we could have made. I knew from the moment I met Georgia that it would be a match made in heaven. My husband was reluctant to book a wedding coordinator at first, but once the ball got rolling with planning, he realized how lost we would have been without her! She is always available for help with anything, going above and beyond for our wedding. Her contacts are priceless and working with her took 90% of the stress off us because it was comforting to know you could trust her and the vendors she suggested. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen. Our family felt the same! The details that I never would have thought of made everything so personal to us. Georgia was also our Officiant and it was the most beautiful customized ceremony. Our guests got to see a different side of my husband and I, and every single guest appreciated it! We immediately were getting compliments about our ceremony being the most enjoyable anyone had seen! The entire day went off without a hitch :-) Georgia is amazing, you will never regret hiring her for your wedding!

Hiring Georgia was the best decision we made concerning the wedding. Best value for our money by far! If we would have had to do it all over again, we would have paid double if we had to. She was amazing on every front!! Hiring Georgia is the best gift you can give yourself for your wedding!

I wasn't sure I could afford a wedding coordinator. After careful consideration, I chose Georgia...now I can't imagine what I would have done without her! From her utmost professionalism to her detailed plan, she is nothing short of amazing. She is creative and brings ideas to the table from the very first brainstorming meeting. The best part, she is realistic about budget and time. She knows how to help you achieve your dream day AND keep you reigned in to stay within budget. She has a 'can do' attitude that helps calm the nerves of even the most fussy people. I can't imagine how I would have gotten through the day without her. She kept everyone in a great stress free mood, got things started on time and even had a smile by the end of the night. My day was stress free and perfect. If something went wrong- I certainly didn't know it. Georgia handled the whole day with style and grace all while reflecting my personal style. I couldn't have done it without her. Everything was beautiful, well thought through and even the smallest detial was attended to. She is superwoman!

What attracted my family and I to Georgia the most was her professional demeanor and ability to customize a service package to fit our needs. We were planning some aspects of the wedding ourselves, but really needed someone to fill in the many gaps and pull the whole thing together. Georgia was a huge help with recommending vendors, reviewing contracts, coordinating a timeline, and asking the kinds of questions we didn't know enough to be asking ourselves. Because we had Georgia to help streamline the planning, my husband, family, and I actually found ourselves able to enjoy and bond over the planning process instead of becoming overwhelmed with stress and arguments the way I have heard of in other cases. Our wedding day was so special and I am so glad we had Georgia's help.

Working with Georgia was fantastic. She is the best in the business. She provided me with top quality information and a dream list of vendors. She works with any budget and won't try to sell you what you can't afford. My wedding day went off without a hitch (as far as I know) and that's the point! I would (and have) recommend her to anyone and everyone getting married. I would absolutely hire her again in a heart beat for any event I was planning.

Georgia was great, and i couldn't have done it without her! She helped me achieve my perfect wedding. It was so great to have someone to take care of the details on the day of the event, and she did such a great job!
