I had a wonderful experience working with Jen and her team for my November wedding! From start to finish, she helped me stay organized and I always felt one step ahead! Once we had a wedding venue, we knew we needed a full wedding planner. Ours was a destination wedding and our work schedules meant we wouldn’t be able to devote much time to wedding details. We chose Jenn and JEMP because she listened to our vision and had creative ideas for bringing it to life. She also radiated great energy! We felt confident that Jenn would take charge of all the details so that we would feel like guests at a fabulous party on our wedding day!
What we did not anticipate was that there would be some pre-wedding crashers in the form of hurricanes Helene and Milton that would lead to our original venue (Marie Selby Gardens) cancelling us less than a month before the event! Jenn worked a miracle. Literally within hours of learning about the cancelation, she secured a fabulous new venue at the College Hall on the New College campus. Jenn’s quick action and impressive network quite literally saved the day!
After securing the new venue, Jenn and her team (shout out to Megan and Debbie!), then adjusted everything to fit a very different layout and aesthetic. They added furnishings and flowers, replaced a vendor who was unable to follow us to the new location, and found additional vendors to cover services that had not been needed at the original venue. The transition was managed seamlessly. As a result, our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more! It was truly magical! We can’t thank you enough Jenn!
A successful wedding (or any event, really), requires three things: 1) good communication between the planner and client to arrive at a shared vision, 2) a top-notch team both in-house and with outside vendors, and 3) an obsessive attention to detail in the execution. I can’t even describe the amount of stress lifted off my shoulders after we hired Jenn. She is the definition of boss babe. She gets sh*t done. Effectively and efficiently. There was ~ 3 weeks left until the wedding when we hired her and Jenn immediately took all our unfinished plans, completed them, and tied them all up with a pretty bow 🎁.
