Wedding reception day of coordinator
We couldn’t have pulled off our wedding reception without Irene’s help! We had to change wedding plans 3x because of covid and then found ourselves re-planning our wedding from scratch in 3weeks. Our reception venue required us to have a day of coordinator and recommended Ohh Darling Events. Luckily for us, Irene was available and omg I am sooo thankful she was! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was good to go for our reception! We met with her before, walked the venue, and talked through the layout and our vision. She was super friendly, had great ideas with how to set up the space, and was very flexible for when we needed to meet with her to chat through things or drop off decor. On the day of, she was very good at making sure things stayed on track with our timeline, and also made sure me and my husband actually were able to eat! Beyond helping to make our wedding reception an amazing night, she was able to put me in touch with a stylist and when news came up a week before the wedding that our original officiant wasn’t going to be able to make it, she helped put us in touch with an officiant who was available. Irene truly went above and beyond! I’d highly recommend Ohh Darling Events for any event coordinator needs in St Pete/Tampa area!

Irene here! The owner of Ohh Darling events! Here's a little about me.
I grew up in The Florida Keys and have lived somewhere in Florida my entire life. My roots are Venezuelan and I am fluent in Spanish.
What gives me the most joy in life is finding a reason to bring my family and friends together. When I'm not working, I'm hosting dinners for my favorite people. It lights up my soul. It's no surprise I love doing the same for my clients!
I've been in the industry since 2010 planning events from weddings, baby showers, to DJ events overlooking the sea on a rooftop bar. With this experience has come a lot of connections with some really great vendors with whom I have built strong relationships. Professionalism, reliability, and quality are of great importance to me, so I seek out the best vendors for my clients!
So with that being said, here's my promise to you:
I promise I will do everything within my power to create a magical experience for you and your guests. I know the guest and client experience is paramount. I promise to focus on curating that experience, where every decision we make in the planning process will be thoughtful and impactful to that experience.
I promise to be professional, fun, loving, efficient, and budget-conscious. I don't put on events for the money, I do it for the joy I receive when I see the happiness that comes from something we've created.
At the end of the day, I am just a girl trying to make the world a happier place and would love to bring a little bit of that to your upcoming event!
