Their vibe is amazing to work with. They are flexible, responsive, responsible, and creative. They bring a strength to help unite and build bonds between the wedding couple and guests in a glamorous yet cozy atmosphere with custom everything. So loved this style of wedding. Wouldn’t want to do it any other way!

Shea was wonderful to work with! Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring throughout the process, and she was always incredibly responsive. On the wedding day, she was flexible, organized, and handled every detail seamlessly!

I found Samantha at a bridal expo and hired her initially to help me secure a venue. However, after working with her for a short time on that task, I was so blown away by her above and beyond research, resources and communication that I knew I needed her in my corner for the wedding day too - so I hired her as my coordinator. I’m still in shock about just how much WORK she put in for our event. She is an incredibly valuable asset to have, no matter how big or small your event. The digital planning tools she provided were beyond useful and her seamless orchestration of my long vendor list was a huge help. On the actual day, she and her assistant were magic. They oversaw setup, helped with decor, kept us rolling on schedule and were just so joyful. Our wedding was anything but simple: New Year’s Eve, outdoor night time ceremony, hundreds of candles, multiple surprise elements, a gameshow and tons of vendors. And yet it went off without a hitch. Samantha even saved my bouquets which I forgot in the hustle and bustle of leaving and brought them to me the next day. ANGEL!!!

Gerad is incomparable, he perfectly created and coordinated our wedding. He is what every event coordinator wishes they were. We worked with Gerad for our January 2026 wedding and could not have asked for a better person to bring our day to life. Firstly, Gerad’s passion and enthusiasm are unmatched. Gerad plans events out of a genuine love and care for creating special celebrations. The care for every couple he works with, and every unique idea/detail, is apparent from the start and only increased as we fleshed out more details. Combined with the know-how to bring those ideas to life (a truly thorough resume spanning every part of the wedding industry, even before coordinating), Gerad is uniquely capable to coordinate such special moments. On top of vision and passion, Gerad is flawlessly on top of all possible details, and balances the right amount of logistics that couples should be involved in. A very appreciated level of “keeping you informed on X thing, but I’m handling it” to reduce stress/mental load on couples while reassuring them that nothing has been forgotten/missed (Gerad is incapable of missing a detail, I’m pretty sure). From the start, Gerad provided us with a planning checklist/timeline that laid out all processes and considerations to plan for and when they should be completed relative to our wedding day. After establishing basics, Gerad put together a beautiful theme/vision board based on our disjointed ideas we started with, which really solidified how our event would come together and gave us direction. After setting this strong direction, Gerad provided guidance, knowledge, and consultation about all details. Though obviously our day was our own design and ideas, Gerad was excellent at informing decisions when we were indecisive, advising us about what he thought would be good options when making choices, and stepping in to lead conversations and conceptualize details. All while ensuring that everything felt genuine to us. As this was our first event to plan/host, the sheer competence Gerad has and knowing we were in the hands of an expert, was so appreciated. Again, his experience across so many parts of the wedding industry means Gerad has seen right and wrong ways to do things; he will contribute incredible ideas that elevate your event, will steer you away from any possible mistakes/bad ideas, and knows when things feel right. Gerad builds and maintains truly strong relationships with vendors, his preferred list ensures not only a quality guarantee, but genuinely friendly people to work with who share Gerad’s level of passion. Gerad’s high bar for performance absolutely extends to anyone he recommends, which made our vendor choices with him stress-free. Every suggestion he made (shortlist filtered from his preferred list, based on availability and vibe matching) truly did fit us so well. We couldn’t be happier with Gerad’s organization of so many important choices, or his interactions with vendors we hired separately. Gerad’s day-of coordination is also flawless. We jointly built a detailed hour-by-hour timeline of the day which Gerad and his team then implemented while also naturally handling unexpected changes, making sure that everything was set up with every detail attended to. The January winter storm over our weekend involved a massive amount of extra effort which Gerad handled incredibly, on top of normal planning for the day. So many variables and a constantly-changing forecast meant he had to make and then re-make many contingency plans for factors like iced-over roads the day of and day after, potential for a power outage, changes due to guest cancellations, vendor transportation and safety concerns… An unimaginable amount of extra effort and communication went into checking if all involved with our wedding could execute safely, and changes like rescheduling vendor load-out were made even during the event. And yet Gerad spared us from that entirely, simply assuring us that the show would go on matching our comfort level, with every detail still accounted for. Once our wedding started, Gerad kept absolutely everything running beautifully, smoothing over the few hiccups that arose. His management of people (checking in consistently to give reassurances, manage emotions and timeline, directing participants on how to perform their tasks) and places (room layouts and furniture moving) and things (details down to name card placement on tables) was stellar. We truly could not have executed without him, his “give it to me and I’ll handle it” energy and graceful directing meant that we only had to think about enjoying the night. Gerad was by a long shot the first one in and last one out at our wedding, incredibly thorough from start to finish. Obviously, we wholeheartedly recommend Gerad as THE wedding and event coordinator to work with in Austin. While there are many coordination/planning choices in the city, I honestly do not think anyone else can do a better job than Gerad. We were incredibly lucky to find Gerad and are so appreciative of his work to make our wedding successful and unforgettable.

I had Chantale from Events in a Crunch coordinate my wedding day-of. She was a blessing on the big day. She came early, sorted through all of our boxes with our decor we brought from home, kept us on schedule, and helped me remain as calm as possible. My only regret is not having two of her!

Laoise is the definition of “petite but mighty”, she kept our day running like clockwork. I’m very Type A and super comfortable with research, contracts, logistics, and planning, so I took on planning pretty much everything myself — at a museum venue, no less, which is definitely not the easiest to plan or for someone to coordinate. As the final weeks approached, I was… let’s just say, a little cuckoo. 😂 From the very beginning, Laoise was incredibly supportive, responsive, and open to all of my (very detailed and sometimes wildly pedantic) questions. Then at the 6-week mark, she came in like an absolute champ with an organized intake form that captured every detail I had planned, helping with timeline & layout. She caught logistical things we hadn’t thought of, like moving florals post ceremony etc. I was immensely more relaxed at that point knowing that we had her. On the day of, she and her assistant went above and beyond — helping with our personal decor, helping me through nature trails in my dress for our first look and photos, and managing everything with total professionalism. She had her headset on, game face, all the things— making sure the timeline stayed on track and everything flowed. Our photographer even commented that it was one of the smoothest wedding days he’s ever experienced. He appreciated how Laoise had notes prepared for family portraits, including who could be dismissed at certain points. Super helpful since we had a lot of family portrait combos. We didn’t rehearse since our family members were coming out of town with young children, but she was able to give a quick rundown right before the ceremony. She even discreetly checked in with me during a lengthy speech about timing — ready to step in if needed. In hindsight, I should’ve warned her that speaker tends to go long, but even with the longer-than-expected speech we still felt we had plenty of time to celebrate and mingle since she incorporated buffer time. I am so incredibly grateful for her! She brought calm, structure, and execution to a day that could have easily felt overwhelming. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and truly has your back, I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our day was completely seamless because of her and our family and friends were able to just completely enjoy the day. She also had the great idea of leaving patio heaters out of the reception area and in the cocktail hour area until it actually got cooler/windier later in evening, which let us get nice photos of all the details while still ensuring guest comfort later on. 10/10, highly recommend.

Austin Weddings by Corinna is absolutely worth it. She’s warm, professional, and pays attention to every little detail to make sure each bride feels comfortable and taken care of. A must-have for any bride who wants her big day to be truly perfect.

If you are reading this, the universe has led you to the right place and the right wedding planner. It’s rare that you meet someone so professionally talented, genuinely caring about her work and clients, and top class at making the impossible come together so effortlessly. When we were looking for a planner, we were hoping for someone with a list of proven vendors and connections, and someone who could manage on the ground operations because we lived out of state. What we got in addition to that was a dear friend who truly saw us for who we were and what makes us happy, a visionary with a bi-weekly part of our lives, and a trusted partner there help us make a magical wedding that felt and looked like us. She WILL NOT let you fail. Krystal plays 4D chess and will always catch you. Crazy examples: 1. She remembered to flag that an exit sign would be potentially in the angle of our cake photos with our table layout months after we actually went on the venue tour — she’s always thinking of every detail to make things perfect. 2. She texted us that we would be late to a cake tasting that my fiancé and I were doing independently, having remembered the opening hours of one of hundreds of cake places and mentally geolocating us on the side of town with traffic patterns. Again, not gonna let you fail. 3. She remembered changes that would affect other decisions down the line, like how a pattern change to the invites would bump deliverables and mean we needed to renegotiate hotel block dates. 4. Every vendor we chose unpromptedly gushed about working with her and we were able to secure flexibilities that saved us a lot of money. 5. So much of wedding planning is emotional decision-making, and Krystal predicted and smoothed bumps in the road based on our families and personalities. She’d be the first to remember offhand comments months later, like a father’s favorite pie flavor or noticing how much we gushed about our nieces and nephews and scheduling a special photo moment for us. 6. It literally flash flooded the morning of our outdoor wedding and I would have otherwise been in tears had Krystal not figured out a plan that -shockingly- was better than our original ceremony plan. It will be a journey planning your wedding, and we know ours was special, minimally stressful, emotionally fulfilling, and a perfect reflection of us and our families because of Krystal. Okay y’all go email her now!!

We hired Barbara's Brides as a day-of-coordinator for our August 2020 wedding, which was ultimately moved to May 2021 because of the pandemic, after our venue coordinator recommended her. Barbara is well-established in the Austin wedding community. I had no doubt that she and her team could pull off anything with their experience and connections. Because of this, I was relieved that I didn’t have to worry about missing details or checking things off my list because I knew Barbara would make sure things were addressed. Barbara provided a preferred list of vendors early in the process, which was super helpful in reviewing and deciding on our many options, though many of our vendors were not on her list. She preemptively checked on us during the pandemic, moved our date with no issues, shared a wedding checklist, shared a wedding timeline with me and the vendors in advance of the big day, and after the wedding, she ensured I received a reimbursement for services not rendered by one of the vendors. She was especially kind when she gave us a lovely Driskill cookbook, which we decided to use as our wedding guestbook. Barbara's associate Gerad ran the day-of coordination and did a fabulous job. There were a few small details that I would have changed, but in the grand scheme they didn't matter, and certainly without Barbara and Gerad, our wedding wouldn’t have turned out so great. I am very grateful to have found such a professional and established team that pulled together all the major details while allowing me to enjoy and soak in the day.

From the moment we met Jazmin, we knew we were in the best hands. She was so down-to-earth, incredibly responsive, and truly a joy to work with. Throughout the entire planning process, she made everything feel effortless and fun. There were no details too small and she always made us feel completely supported. On the day of our wedding, Jazmin was a total rockstar!! She was everywhere at once — calm, collected, and so caring — making sure every moment flowed perfectly. We never had to worry about a thing.
