I contacted Krystal about a month before my wedding to do day-of coordination. We got married outdoors in July 2012 about an hour northwest of Albany, NY. I already knew that Krystal would be amazing because we went to college together, but I must say she went above and beyond.

I was planning from out of state and had already selected all my vendors, but needed help keeping all that information organized and running the show the day of. For starters, Krystal did a great job of keeping the communication lines open. We had scheduled phone conversations and emailed regularly. She pays very close attention to detail, and asked me questions about the wedding that I would have never thought of. When I arrived in NY, a week before the wedding, Krystal took the time to meet with me and my family to go over last minute details. She also sent confirmation emails to all of my vendors.

Another big relief for me was that Krystal ran our wedding rehearsal. Our wedding party was in a very giddy mood, nevertheless Krystal and her assistant (Marquia) conducted the rehearsal in a very professional and smooth manner. She also had printed out copies of the itinerary for all of the vendors and the wedding party. The itinerary was something that I had anxiety about before we hired Krystal, but she did a fabulous job of putting together who needed to do what and when.

On the day of, we were running a behind schedule AND it ended up raining right before the ceremony began. Krystal and Marquia arrived on time and somehow got us back on schedule and eased my worries about the rain. The steamer that Krystal brought came in handy for my bridesmaids' dresses and when the heel guarders refused to stay on my wedding shoes they came to the rescue and used the hot glue gun.

Hiring a day-of coordinator was not at all in my initial budget, but it was affordable and the best decision I made. I know that sounds very cliche, but it's true! I can't say enough good things about Kris Royal.
