I had the pleasure of working with Bethany O'Neill of Something Pretty Events for 18 months while planning the wedding of my son and future daughter in law which took place on September 5, 2021 at Camp Lenox in Otis, MA. Like so many families, the wedding was scheduled and planned for August 2020 and then cancelled a few months prior to the date and rescheduled for 2021. Bethany kept us calm during the uncertainty and stayed in constant contact with us the ENTIRE 18 months. The venue, a children's summer camp, requires a great deal of planning, logistics and coordination. Bethany kept us focused on our planning and then she brought my son and his fiancé’s summer camp weekend wedding to life by working tirelessly during the 3-day weekend event. As expected, the wedding turned out to be an amazing success, and we received countless compliments from over 225 family and friends who told us that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! Bethany was not only a wedding planner to us but also like a member of the family. We could not recommend Bethany more! I honestly wish >5 stars was an option. She went above and beyond as our wedding planner during the year and the half we worked with her. She's fun and a joy to work with but she's also no-nonsense and will help you identify what you can cut from your budget or what is unreasonable from a vendor, and her knowledge of the ins and outs of the wedding industry is invaluable. She kept us on track with planning and helped us with decisions I wouldn't even have known to make on my own. All throughout she helped us remain joyful and excited about the process and she was endlessly patient with us.
Bethany and her team helped execute our dream wedding. It was so gorgeous and perfect thanks to them. I know this must have been a massive behind the scenes effort (particularly given that it started pouring right before the ceremony!) but we never felt the stress. The work Bethany put in allowed us to just enjoy the entire incredible event.
