It's corny and you hear it all the time, but Bethany is truly the reason why our wedding was as perfect of a day as it was. Not a single detail missed. Clear, consistent communication throughout the entire process. When you're planning for a day with so many decisions and opinions and details to consider, Bethany will put your mind at ease in the way that no other wedding planner can. She is truly and utterly exceptional.

From our very first conversation, she made us feel completely at ease. It honestly felt more like we were planning with a friend than someone we had just met! She had an incredible eye for detail, understood our vision immediately, and organized the day (and our thoughts!) in such a helpful manner. She anticipated needs we didn't even know we had, handled every moving part with timeliness and precision, and made sure every choice reflected us as a couple.

Her thoughtfulness showed up in countless ways, remembering tiny details we'd mentioned MONTHS earlier, nudging us towards decisions to take things off our plate and relieve the overwhelming feelings, and ensuring that on the actual day that we were only focused on enjoying everything we'd worked towards.

Because of Bethany, our wedding was not just beautiful for pictures, but was seamless, stress-free, and felt so personal. We could not recommend Bethany more! I honestly wish >5 stars was an option. She went above and beyond as our wedding planner during the year and the half we worked with her. She's fun and a joy to work with but she's also no-nonsense and will help you identify what you can cut from your budget or what is unreasonable from a vendor, and her knowledge of the ins and outs of the wedding industry is invaluable. She kept us on track with planning and helped us with decisions I wouldn't even have known to make on my own. All throughout she helped us remain joyful and excited about the process and she was endlessly patient with us.
Bethany and her team helped execute our dream wedding. It was so gorgeous and perfect thanks to them. I know this must have been a massive behind the scenes effort (particularly given that it started pouring right before the ceremony!) but we never felt the stress. Bethany with Something Pretty Events not only delivered a dream wedding but did so with the grace and dedication of a superhero mom! She went far above and beyond the call of duty. She was incredibly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented when called in at the last moment to come on-site and manage our wedding day herself. She even dealt with unexpected hiccups, like our transportation to the venue never showing up!
Planning a wedding can be a financial nightmare, but Bethany understood our need to keep the budget tight and offered many recommendations. She knew terrific local vendors and helped us find creative ways to stay within our budget. Her suggestions saved us a significant amount of money without compromising on quality.

Bethany is simply extraordinary at her work. We couldn't have made a better decision in hiring her as our wedding coordinator. She is direct, clear-sighted, generous, and communicative, and manages to be both extremely empathetic and almost pathologically efficient. How she handles so many tasks at once while remaining warm and calm is a marvel! We met with a few coordinators before Bethany, and none of them held a candle to her. From our very first call, she was not only game to work within our parameters, but full of ideas for how to make the day smoother, more beautiful, more meaningful. Her suggestions for vendors were all *amazing*, and she not only helped with our communications but oversaw all the details, catching snags before they could develop into actual problems and thinking of everything (while never making us feel stressed or guilty for dropping the ball). She also has fantastic taste. I can't overstate what a relief it was to trust someone so completely during the wedding preparations, and what a joy it was to feel fully present during my wedding day, without worrying for a moment because I knew Bethany, the most resourceful and level-headed person in the greater northeast, was coordinating everything. She's also great to talk to—genuine and present and basically unruffle-able. About twenty minutes before we were to be married, a sudden rainstorm drenched our ceremony spot, yet somehow Bethany and her team (who were also fantastic) managed to get everything set up and dried off in almost no time at all. It was magic; Bethany is magic; she will make your wedding magical.

Bethany and her team at Something Pretty were absolutely outstanding. Our wedding weekend at two different venues for ceremony + reception went off honestly without a single hitch thanks to their incredible hard work, attention to detail, and positive attitudes. With any last-minute issues that popped up in the weeks leading up to the wedding, Bethany was solution-oriented and calm -- exactly what we needed with all the emotion leading up to such an important weekend in our lives. Words cannot do justice to what an incredible asset Bethany was for us -- anyone would be hugely lucky to have her for their wedding!

Where to begin. For context, my now WIFE Paige and I had been engaged for just over 2 years before getting married and Bethany at Something Pretty Events was one of the first vendors we booked. From the very first phone call, Bethany was our North Star of wedding planning - we looked to her often for guidance and her brightness never once dulled in the two years of working with her. When we first started planning, we didn't realize how much we'd need her. We're both organized, on top of things, and felt like we had a good grasp of what needed to be done. And yet, we needed Bethany many times. And when we needed her, she delivered every. single. time. Bethany helped us navigate through a few different vendor challenges (as things change for vendors over the course of two years) and did so with steadfast grace, always keeping our vision in mind. We feel like the touchpoints Bethany scheduled helped us get to know Bethany and for Bethany to get to know us. She was also always willing to answer questions or give recommendations when needed. In fact, pretty much all of the vendors that we used that we didn't have challenges with, were recommendations from Bethany (a testament to her knowledge of the industry and her relationships with other vendors). Planning a wedding requires a lot of thinking ahead, and Bethany consistently helped us manage all of the small details that make an event personal and special while also delivering on all of the big ticket items. Everything Bethany did leading up to the wedding weekend was truly nothing less than spectacular. And on the wedding weekend, Bethany was our rock. Bethany and her two assistants (Kianna and Gianna [sorry ladies if I spelled wrong!]) went above and beyond to make sure the spaces were decorated in a way that represented us. Our guests keep telling us how amazing their experience was, and we truly believe that would not have been the same without Bethany's magical touch and care coordination. Thank you Bethany for being a literal game-changer - we love and appreciate you!

Bethany at Something Pretty Events was the best decision I made when planning my wedding. I began planning my wedding back in 2019 and knew I had a very particular vision of what I wanted, but I had no idea how to execute it. I was quickly overwhelmed. From my very first meeting with Bethany, I knew I had found the perfect planner and my anxiety eased. Bethany is extremely attentive, professional, and organized. She helped me articulate my vision for the wedding with all the creative elements, while simultaneously helping me to plan for the practical factors I never would have thought of (like, what bride thinks of things like water hookups, bathrooms, electrical outlets, etc.??). She helped me with venue tours until I found the right one, worked with me around my wedding budget and helped me to navigate the right aesthetic choices for things like table settings, lighting, tables, and chairs. When the pandemic hit, my husband and I decided to cancel our wedding plans to keep our family safe but we were completely devasted to not have our traditional wedding. However, Bethany kept me calm and rolled with the punches while helping us make a decision that was best for us. She was extremely flexible and understanding during such a tumultuous time. We decided to hold on to our planned date, use our wedding photographer, get dressed up in our wedding attire, and have a small elopement until we can plan a safe wedding dinner reception in the next year or so (which Bethany will be helping me with!) She helped me with emailing my other vendors (the caterer, the tent company, the florist, etc.) to postpone for a later date. Even though we downsized, I could not have done the elopement photos without Bethany!!! While I was stressed and focused on getting ready for our wedding photos in Vermont, Bethany picked up the flowers and cake I ordered in Northampton and brought them to us at our Bed and Breakfast. She also brought vases, plates, utensils, and candles. While my hair was getting done, Bethany was busy setting up the scene for our pictures at the nearby photo location. She curated a beautiful area in the woods with a rug I wanted to use, along with our flowers and cake. While the photographer and her assistant were taking photos, Bethany stood by, ready to help - she would help me quickly adjust my dress when needed or would gently remind me to relax and smile when I was nervous posing for the camera. She even reminded me that there was a specific pose I wanted to do with my husband for the photoshoot, which I would have completely forgotten about if it weren't for her. Sometimes, you don't realize the many details that go into a wedding, an elopement photoshoot, or the support you'll need for something that may seem "small." I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. Because of Bethany, the vision I had for my photos came out beautifully. I'm thrilled to continue working with her to plan the postponed dinner reception because I know she will help me execute another beautiful event. Hire Bethany!

Bethany makes the wedding planning process so effortless. She is professional and organized but also so fun and down to earth. She was unbelievably helpful with my indecisiveness and bringing my whole wedding vision together.
