Congratulations on your Engagement or Vow Renewal. A few tips for any bride who may be using vendors for the first time.

Never book any vendor without a consultation. Make sure that their personality compliments yours. If you are charged a consultation fee, you may be able to use it toward your event once you book with that vendor. Otherwise, it will most likely be non-refundable. Check with the vendors’ policies.

You should always have a wedding consultant helping you with your wedding. It is worth it to lower your stress levels. Let’s face it who wants to be stressed out for one of the most important days of her life, her Wedding? Even if you think it isn’t in your budget to have a consultant help you with the entire wedding, hire one to help you with the DAY OF your event. Things will run much smoother, you will have someone else handle any issues that could come up during that day and you will be able to enjoy your day of celebration.

Don’t forget to send out Thank You notes to everyone. You can have a dinner at your new home with your family to help you write out the cards. They will enjoy the comraderie and you may just start a new tradition.
