Belle Mer

With a name that translates to "beautiful sea," you know the views at this Rhode Island wedding venue won't disappoint. Located in Newport at the edge of Narragansett Bay, Belle Mer is one of the state's most notable wedding venues, especially if you're hosting a formal, black-tie wedding. While the ocean views from the lawn will definitely leave you speechless, the indoor event space is just as beautiful. The light-filled, grand ballroom features hardwood floors, chandeliers, and a retractable glass wall, providing a front-and-center view of the ocean. There's also a smaller (but equally as luxurious) reception space overlooking the Newport Bridge and the venue's rose garden, along with a loft space that's perfect for lounging or getting ready on the big day. As a Longwood venue (one of New England's top event groups), gourmet catering, event specialists, and basic rental furniture are all provided in-house.
