The Bohlin at the Newport Yachting Center

I wish we could go back and relive our wedding day at The Bohlin again and again! The MOST gorgeous venue I have ever seen, with the best staff. We worked with Lauren who was so helpful every step of the way. She perfectly understood our vision and helped us bring it to life. The other highlight for us was the food- best wedding food ever! Myself, and many of our family and friends, have celiac and need gluten free food. Lauren spoke with the chef at The Bohlin who made us an entirely gluten free meal for all our guests. It was so good, I still have non-gluten free guests confirming I could eat it! We cannot thank them enough for all they did!

The Bohlin was the most amazing wedding venue! We really wanted something unique, with incredible views, food, drinks, & service, and that is exactly what we got with The Bohlin. We have received so many compliments from our guests on all of the above. Lauren was our Day Of Coordinator & she was AMAZING - she was so professional, so responsive & made sure that we were stress-free for the entire experience. We are so so so happy with our decision & could not recommend The Bohlin more.

We had our July 2022 wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself is breathtaking - with beautiful water views and a gorgeous tent and patio set up. The food was amazing from start to finish. So much care was put into the displays and there was plenty to go around for all our guests. We are still receiving comments from our guests about how this was the best wedding food they have ever had. All of the servers were so kind, polite and helpful! The bride and groom even get their own server to make sure they always have what they need. Our wedding coordinator, Caity, was so helpful throughout the planning process, it felt like we barely had to do any planning at all! We had so many guests compliment the flow of the wedding which she helped design and implement flawlessly. The whole thing was perfect!

I don't even know where to start on how wonderful our wedding at The Bohlin was. It was everything I could have imagined for the perfect Newport wedding. The views were unbeatable, the location was perfect, the food was great, AND THE STAFF!

I can't say it enough how amazing it was working with Lauren. My original venue cancelled on us 3 months out from our wedding and in a panic I had to book a new place. Luckily The Bohlin was available for the same date since I'd already booked all my other vendors. Lauren was so helpful and organized and had everything under control so I could relax. The day before the wedding, I thought we'd drop off all our decorations and such and have to spend some time setting up, but she shoo'd us away to go enjoy the night before our wedding and they took care of everything. It turned out beautiful! Everyone has said it was one of the best and most fun weddings they'd ever been to.

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Bohlin! Many of our guests commented that it was the best/most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. There was not a bite of food left on most of the dinner plates we saw, and everyone raved about the food. Their cocktail hour presentation was even adjusted to be more Covid-friendly and we felt very safe with their planning and preparation. The Bohlin staff were extremely professional, friendly, timely, and attentive, and everyone made sure my husband, our families, and I were taken care of with food, drink, and comfort throughout our event. We worked with Lauren to plan for our day, and she brought such a calm and professional presence to the planning process, and on our day she was an extremely attentive and helpful coordinator. Would recommend The Bohlin to everyone!!

The Bohlin was the perfect location to host our Newport oyster-themed coastal wedding! To be right next to the harbor, the boats, the sunset, the Newport bridge in the background, it was incredible. You are right in the heart of Newport! My now husband and I have vacationed in Newport for many years, and my family and I have been visiting this coastal town since I was a baby. It is our favorite place in the world. The Bohlin is the quintessential spot for that coastal vibe with casual class without being over the top stuffy and buttoned up as some other venues might give off. We had our wedding ceremony with the sailboats going by followed by our dockside cocktail hour with live music. It is so nice to have everything in one spot at the Bohlin, and the staff work hard to make the transitions between seamless for you and your guests.

Our guests are still raving about the location, flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, and they continue to compliment the efficiency and organization of the staff. We had a handful of guests with allergies and dietary restrictions. These guests said they have never been treated so well at any other wedding they have attended. The staff knew all of the allergies and all of the meal alterations needed for each guest. Food was brought out timely and efficiently and was absolutely delicious. From the cocktail hour passed hors d'oeuvres, to the overflowing raw bar, to the drinks, incredible entrees, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar, the Bohlin did not disappoint!

My husband and I thought the cost at the Bohlin was extremely reasonable as the venue takes care of all of the food, tables, linens, and most of the decor. We chose from the simplest decor/linen/glassware/flatware package in terms of price and the look of the tables and tent were stunning. The beauty of the Bohlin tent is its simplicity. It is really a blank canvas so you can tailor it to your specific style and look for your wedding day.

Our wedding day coordinator was reassigned a few months before the wedding which we were initially nervous about, but our new day of coordinator Lindsay Chapin blew it out of the water! She was absolutely incredible to work with and such a sweetheart. She was so responsive via email whenever we had the simplest question of clarification. We even scheduled a last minute in person meeting at the venue a few weeks prior to discuss layout and Covid matters, and Lindsay was always proactive and optimistic throughout it all. Obviously planning during Covid times was and still is challenging, but Lindsay and the Bohlin staff kept us up to date on all of the state and venue guidelines and restrictions on pretty much a weekly basis. The stars aligned for us in the end as the mask mandate and many other restrictions were lifted just days before the wedding! What an honor to host all of our friends and family as the world re-opened that week, and we are so thankful we chose the Bohlin to help us host all of them! Thank you to the Bohlin, to Lindsay, and to all of the hard working staff, from the bottom of our hearts for the most perfect wedding day! Book the Bohlin for your perfect Newport wedding! The Bohlin has been amazing since day one when we picked them in June of 2019. When the pandemic hit in March, we were in constant communication with them since our wedding was two months away. The team constantly checked in on us to make sure we were ok. We worked with Jackie and she was absolutely amazing. We were able to reschedule the wedding for October 24th. It was a much smaller wedding then planned but all our guests said how safe they felt. It was an amazing night and I’d recommend this venue to everyone.

Our wedding at the Bohlin was absolutely incredible. We changed our venue to the Bohlin just months before our date due to COVID, and from day 1 it was a great experience. Maria was so helpful leading up to the day and was amazing the day of the wedding. She is so organized and handled all of the details to make sure our day was perfect. The venue was gorgeous, the food was great, and the service was top notch. We can’t recommend the Bohlin highly enough!!

I can’t rave enough about how amazing it was to have our wedding at The Bohlin. If you are looking for a venue the encompasses all that Newport is this is your spot. You are right downtown and right on the water with the most beautiful Sperry tent- it’s truly spectacular. We had both our ceremony and wedding here and it was the best day our lives and I would not change one thing. Our wedding pictures are amazing because the views you get with this venue are on another level. We worked directly with Sara when planning our wedding and she was amazing. She is so organized and so much fun to work with! I was always so excited when we had meetings with her. She kept us organized and so excited during the whole planning process. We never had to worry about a thing day of- she was on site and taking care of everything and anything behind the scenes. She was so great during our rehearsal day as well, getting it done fast and productively. Sara was such a big part of our wedding being as perfect as it was and we can’t thank her enough for everything!

Also, all of my wedding guests are still raving about the food and saying its the best food they have ever had at any wedding!

I truly cannot say enough great things about The Bohlin. We had our absolute dream wedding there this past October, and the team at The Bohlin was amazing to work with, beginning to end. Sara was our event manager, and her patience, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible to work with! She made our dream wedding a reality, and really is the best in the business! Everything was absolutely perfect - the decorations/set-up, the food, the service, and everything in between! It also goes without saying that the location is to die for - right on the water at the Newport Yachting Center, which happens to be in the heart of downtown Newport! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. We will always cherish the memories made, and we give Sara and her team so much credit for making them happen. I could go on and on, but the point is that I really could not recommend any venue more highly!!!
