Hotel Wedding Venues in Portland

We recently had our wedding at the Westin on February 20th in the junior ballroom. Laura Lavigne was our wedding coordinator, she is so sweet, professional, and accommodating planner I had the pleasure of working with. She helped make our wedding vision come to life along with making sure everything went smoothly. All of the staff at the hotel, along with the food, and accommodations made our day so perfect, EVEN during a pandemic! If you are looking for a beautiful venue with friendly staff, amazing food, bar services, and reasonably priced, in gorgeous downtown Portland Maine, THIS is the place for you! You will not be disappointed! Looking back, I would choose this venue over and over!

It was truly storybook perfect - such a gorgeous setting and accommodating staff, and the food was fabulous.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a dream place to get married! I can’t say enough good things about it! First- it’s beautiful. The outdoor space was perfect to get married outside in, the ballroom is amazing. The windows overlooking the patio and river make beautiful scenery and natural light for your event. The staff is absolutely amazing! We worked closely with Jackie Berry to make all of our plans a reality. Matt Shaw helped us set up room blocks for our party, and the entire event day staff were great. They ensured everything went smoothly for our wedding. They also went above and beyond with simple little things that made our day that much more special. Whether it was a hand written note, champagne, or cheesecake in our room- it was amazing. I highly recommend this place! It is a great deal for everything involved, and an amazing place to get married in Maine!

Inn by the Sea is the most beautiful place to get married. My husband and I had a lovely time working with Hana and Caitlin planning our dream September wedding. Every detail I envisioned, Hana made it happen. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day because everything was being taken care of by Hana and the team. Wedding planning can be a stressful, long process but working with Hana through it all made it enjoyable. From coordinating vendors to selecting rental items Hana had it all under control. Don’t even get me started on the food, it was AMAZING. Chef did a fabulous job preparing our meal selections and hors d’oeuvres. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and make you want to stay for months on end! Everyone is just so friendly and accommodating at Inn by the Sea. If you’re looking for a stress free, coastal, elegant venue then this is your place. Thank you again Hana and Caitlin. We will never forget our day!

All aspects of the day were perfect, from the controllable ones like food, venue cleanliness, service to the uncontrollable ones like weather, humidity, etc....

I simply cannot say enough positive things about this venue. The entire process from staff to finish was phenomenal. The owners of the Inn are as accommodating as possible and were so sweet to work with on the day of the event. Chelsey, the wedding coordinator for the Inn is as fabulous as it gets. She is prompt, professional and has a calming presence which helps many brides. We had a unexpected thunderstorm come through 15 min before our ceremony and the whole staff worked with us just to push everything back 30 min to allow us to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. We were so incredibly impressed with their flexibility and accommodations. Our guests raved about the food, the quality of the staff and the gorgeous views this venue offers. The whole weekend was flawless from start to finish. Would get married here 10x over.

We immediately felt Genesis' warmth upon the first meeting we had with her at the Bar Harbor Club/Harborside Resort. Genesis took us on a tour of the beautiful property and we knew immediately that we had found our wedding venue. We had spent several months touring various wedding venues in New England and they all paled in comparison. Genesis is thorough, beyond organized, knowledgeable and incredibly patient. I truly do not know how I would have been able to plan such an event without her guidance and support. Our wedding guests still rave about our wedding weekend and how fun and well-planned the entire event was. Several of our wedding guests stated it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted. We look forward to returning for weekend getaways to the Harborside Resort. Thank you again, Genesis and the staff at The Bar Harbor Club/Harborside Resort for ensuring that our weekend was an absolute dream!

We got married at The Viewpoint in June and could not be happier with our experience. The property itself is stunning, and the look on our guests' faces as they walked onto the grounds was something we'll never forget. Camryn was incredible throughout the process, making sure we were prepared and hadn't forgotten anything leading up to our wedding. Our weather wasn't perfect, and she helped guide us, our guests, and our vendors through a perfect day nonetheless, ensuring that a little rain didn't dampen anyone's experience. We can't recommend this venue highly enough to other couples, and we can't wait to return to the Viewpoint for another stay soon.

Our wedding at The Lady Mary Inn was everything we dreamed of and more. From the stunning Victorian charm of the inn to the beautiful garden ceremony, this venue was the perfect backdrop for our special day. The entire event was an amazing mix of time on the gorgeous covered porch, standing in the garden surrounded by so many blooming flowers, and mingling in the many different rooms inside where people could sit and chat. The entire day was gorgeous, intimate, full of love, and better than I could have ever imagined! We worked closely with Ryan, the inn’s incredible owner, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, from helping us to find amazing local vendors for rentals, florals, and even my dream wedding cake, to designing and cooking the most unforgettable menu we've ever tasted. He was there to help with the entire planning process and even hosted our welcome dinner at his farm down the road! Instead of a sit-down dinner, we hosted a cocktail-style reception with heavily passed hors d’oeuvres, including lobster rolls, beef wellington, chicken satay, shrimp cocktail, and so much more. Our guests are still raving about the food! This did not feel like traditional wedding food, it was like eating in a gourmet restaurant. Ryan helped us design our menu and made sure we had everything we wanted! One of the most special parts of the weekend was having our families stay together at the inn in the 9 truly breathtaking rooms. This made the entire stay feel special and it wasn’t just one day of celebration, but the entire weekend. We were able to enjoy sit down breakfasts together and got ready for the wedding upstairs in the suites which made the day flow so easily and felt even more intimate and memorable. It was such a gift to have that time together before and after the big day. The remainder of our guests took a trolley ride from a local hotel which was so fun! Every detail we had in mind, Ryan and his team brought to life. Booking our wedding at the Lady Mary Inn was the best decision we made, and I truly could not have had a better day. I only have the best memories of the day, and I am so grateful we were able to get married here! I would recommend to anyone who would listen to have their wedding here because it is a magical place!
