The Hilton Garden Inn is a dream place to get married! I can’t say enough good things about it! First- it’s beautiful. The outdoor space was perfect to get married outside in, the ballroom is amazing. The windows overlooking the patio and river make beautiful scenery and natural light for your event. The staff is absolutely amazing! We worked closely with Jackie Berry to make all of our plans a reality. Matt Shaw helped us set up room blocks for our party, and the entire event day staff were great. They ensured everything went smoothly for our wedding. They also went above and beyond with simple little things that made our day that much more special. Whether it was a hand written note, champagne, or cheesecake in our room- it was amazing. I highly recommend this place! It is a great deal for everything involved, and an amazing place to get married in Maine!

The Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch did an outstanding job with our wedding. From our first meeting with Amanda in Sales to our last meeting with Rick in Catering and all the staff in between (Sharon, Meghan, Adam, Matt....) we felt like we were Royalty getting married there. The staff is AMAZING. They all went above and beyond our expectations. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Riverwatch to anyone looking for a class act venue to have not only their wedding at like we did but any function.

The Hilton staff did an AWESOME job with helping us plan our wedding. Meaghan was basically our wedding planner, from DJs and flowers to making our seating chart! There was no set up or picking up, they did it all! Food was excellent!

The staff at the Hilton in Auburn were awesome!! They really got into making my wedding perfect. From helping me find the right band to catering specifically for my tastes, they did it all.

The Hilton did a wonderful job making sure everything went the way we wanted it to. They know how to run the wedding so everything went off without a hitch.

When they say they will take care of everything and allow you to not think the night of your wedding...they mean it! They made sure all of the details were taken care of and also that we had a blast! They were very helpful. I would make sure you stay in contact though with them to insure all of the pieces are taken care of. A few things fell through the cracks until the week before. This may have been due to change in employees though. Overall great!

I had an almost completely positive experience with the Hilton Garden Inn. The coordinator was easy to get in touch with and always answered my questions (e-mail or in person) quickly. I loved having a day-of coordinator included in the package, and she was a huge help with everything! Everything looked beautiful for the ceremony and reception. The Hilton staff also provided the food, and it was delicious. I have received more praises from guests about the food than almost anything else regarding the wedding.
We hit a few snags along the way, but most were dealt with in a timely manner and in our favor. Having the wedding on Mother's Day weekend led to a small snag in the morning-after brunch, since they do Mother's Day brunch there that day, which meant that we weren't able to have a room set up for us and the main dining area closed early that morning for guests. But they were able to reserve a whole section of one of the brunch seatings for just our guests, and offered us a discount on the normal price of the brunch.
The only real issue that we ran into was that when we first reserved the wedding with the Hilton, we dealt with one event coordinator who (we didn't know then) was on his way out of the position. While they were in the process of hiring a new coordinator, we dealt with a different person. So we actually had three different contacts over the process of planning the wedding. This did lead to one major communication issue, as we were promised a shuttle between the Hilton and the Hampton Inn about a mile away. This ended up not being able to be provided to us as promised. It ended up working out as all of our guests stayed at the Hilton, but it was a very frustrating set-back, especially as we only found out about it about a month before the wedding.
Aside from that, we had a great experience, and the current event coordinator is very organized and wonderful to work with.
