Church & Temple Wedding Venues in Portland

We held our wedding reception at Mariner's Church 9/20/2025 and were beyond impressed by the level of service provided by all of the staff, but especially Carrie. They went above and beyond to coordinate every single detail of our special day which allowed us to be hands-off and enjoy our celebration. Our guests were very impressed by the venue, the food, and the services provided by Carrie. I cannot say enough positive things about them!

A wonderful location, fantastic staff! We couldn't have selected a better location to get married. This area of Maine holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't thank the First Parish staff enough for all they did!

We're not from the area, but still wished to be married in the Catholic Church. Deacon Darrell was in charge of our ceremony, and he is amazing! He's a very down to earth guy, who always had us laughing. The church is also beautiful in the modern sort of way. They charge $400 for the witnessing of the ceremony, which I think is a bit crazy. The music was great too, although coming from a music background, we thought his price was outrageous!...and his communication wasn't all that impressive which I believe exceptional communication should be included in the booking proce. And if you have the option, and a little extra in the budget, book Timothy too! His voice is unbelievable...all of our guests were impressed!!

It was a beautiful church and it accomadated the 200 guest that we invited. The church is only 2 years old so it still has its new features. I would def recommend this church!

The Winter Street Center is gorgeous. We picked Bath as as our Wedding Town based on going and visiting the Center. The volunteers work very hard to make sure you have a unique experience. There is an on site kitchen for the caterers, and a built in dance floor! It was the most magical day because we were there.
