Sunday River Wedding Co. in Newry, Maine provides couples numerous wedding ceremony and reception venues. Close to the retreat town of Bethel, Maine, Sunday River Wedding Co. exists within the Sunday River Resort. This collective of venues are nestled in the Mahoosuc Mountain Range and the forests of Maine.
Facilities and Capacity
Absorb yourself in the beauty of nature as you exchange vows on one of their three outdoor ceremony spaces. The sublime Jordan Terrace boasts a wooden arbor on a pavilion that overlooks a valley of trees. Receptions can then be held at the Sliders Restaurant, which can hold up to 170 people. Medium-colored wood walls give off a bucolic and relaxed vibe. The Jordan Terrace and Sliders are all part of the resort’s Jordan Hotel.
At the Grand Summit Hotel, you can also host wedding ceremonies embracing nature under a chairlift for a venue with a distinctive touch. Within this hotel are two indoor reception areas, the Grand Ballroom and Camp Restaurant. Up to 300 loved ones can be accommodated in the Grand Summit Hotel’s ballroom. Large windows and light neutral-colored walls make this a classic and airy space. Camp Restaurant can host up to 200 people in a woodsy, cabin chic design. Log accents and rich browns and golden hues adds to this overall atmosphere.

Our Wedding Coordiantors can assist you as you put together your nuptials, making the planning process smoother. For cuisine, the resort offers a range of dinner packages that include an array of hors d’oeuvres, soups, salads, and main courses. Their professional staff can also help with setup for your big day, as well as employing professional servers and bartenders during your reception.
Accommodation
At Sunday River one can choose to stay in two hotels, the Jordan Hotel or the Grand Summit. The Jordan Hotel possesses a spa, giving you the chance to unwind from all the wedding festivities. Spa amenities are also available at the Grand Summit Hotel. This hotel is located in the midst of all the resort's activities, giving you not only comfortable lodgings but easy access to the many exciting things to enjoy around the resort.
