Inn by the Sea is an oceanfront wedding venue in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. A short walk from the venue, the pristine sands of Crescent Beach await couples and guests. With outdoor and indoor venues featuring ocean views, couples will have the perfect backdrop wherever they choose to be married.
Facilities and Capacity
Just steps away from the Inn, the Front Lawn Boulevard offers a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean along with beautifully manicured gardens for saying "I Do", along with enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the natural beauty and seabreeze. A beautiful reception of dinner and dancing is enjoyed while gazing at the ocean from a luxurious sailcloth tent. Accommodating up to 160 seated guests, this space is the perfect location to celebrate the night away.
In addition, the indoor Crescent Room offers an intimate space with many windows and natural lighting, along with access to an outdoor deck area. Perfect for the smaller crowd or intimate wedding setting. Accommodating up to 50 seated guests, all will enjoy views of the beautiful gardens and oceanfront landscapes.

We love working at Inn by The Sea! It's a perfect venue with attentive staff. Not to mention a great view from the hotel and so many photo opportunities from the hotel all the way down the path to the pristine beach.
Inn by the Sea is one of our favorite places to photograph a wedding -- there are so many beautiful spots on the property for family photos, and with a well maintained board walk that leads right to Crescent Beach, you just can't beat it for sunset photos. The reception tent is on one end of the property, making your event feel private and separate. Guests can comfortably enjoy a nice cocktail hour out on their expansive lawn, with views of the water. And the staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating to us. We love Inn by the Sea for an outdoor, coastal, wedding!
