Sebasco Harbor Resort

Sebasco was the perfect venue to host our 100-person late summer/early fall wedding in coastal Maine. We fell in love with Sebasco the first time we visited based on a combination of factors: (1) Phippsburg was the perfect location for us, (2) the resort offers a variety of accommodations, allowing guests to be centrally located and within walking distance of all wedding events, and (3) it feels like stepping back in time in the most charming way. We especially loved the old school Clipper (where we held our welcome BBQ and ceremony due to windy weather) and the Quarterdeck, a rustic arcade that offers candlepin bowling, shuffleboard, and more. The welcome events we held at those two locations on Friday night were so much fun! The look and vibe of the venue was exactly what we wanted - simple coastal Maine. Yes, the cabins are outdated and a bit rundown, but that is part of the charm! We didn't receive any complaints from our guests, who stayed in the lighthouse, main lodge, harbor view suites, and various cabins. There are no bells and whistles here, but the excellent event staff kept all our wedding weekend events running smoothly, even when there was rain and wind in the forecast on our big day. Sebasco's laid back vibe ensured that all our guests stayed happy, even when there was something left to be desired (i.e there was only one bar during our cocktail hour and reception, which led to long lines). The on-site wedding planner Allie Conant was super organized and very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole planning process. We had a fully plant-based wedding and Sebasco was able to come up with plant-based versions of the classics to make sure the food was delicious and approachable for all our guests. I am so happy we got married at Sebasco and I look forward to returning to this special place for years to come!

Sebasco is a gorgeous venue. The outdoor space is beautiful! Allie was phenomenal walking us through the whole entire planning experience, she never got stressed and always had a smile on her face. She and her staff made our wedding perfect, especially since we were planning it from 8 hours away!

How do I begin. They turned a crazy rainy day into a spectacular experience. Their attention to detail was spot on. Allie was able to make a very nervous vouple at ease. The wait staff was very friendly and didnt miss a beat. Lee and Nelly Lafasos.

Incredible experience. Super-responsive staff. Just a perfect layout for a wedding - different multi-unit buildings for different groups - the bride's family, the groom's family, the college friends, the parent's friends. Tons to do - boat tours, kayaks, beaches, hiking. Spectacular scenery on the Maine coast. Terrific food - our friends raved about the wedding reception and the restaurants. Wonderful site for a wedding.

I loved having my wedding at Sebasco! I had a small affair and all our guests were able to stay on property. The staff was very helpful for months beforehand, helping me plan and get everything set. They had great recommendations for local activities and we even got our wedding cake from a bakery they recommended. Our officiant through them was unable to make it due to medical reasons, and Michael, the general manager, stepped in and was really great! You'd never know he only found out the day before! All in all, a very unique, intimate, beautiful place to get married.

If you're looking for a venue in Maine, I highly recommend Sebasco Harbor Resort. Working with Justine and Melissa was a dream come true. They were professional, helpful and extremely responsive. They made everything easy! My favorite part - during our cocktail reception when our guests were enjoying apps and cocktails, my husband and I were off with our bridal party taking pictures. At one point Melissa brought us hors d'oeuvres to enjoy while we were taking our pictures. We never went hungry. Food was amazing, staff was great. Definitely look into Sebasco!

Knowing that we wanted a destination wddding, Maine was a prime location for us. We looked at so many places in Maine, but Sebasco truly won our hearts, and will forever be there. They entire planning and payment process with them was incredibly smooth, and their customer service was top notch. We had 140 people at our wedding, and most of them stayed on the property for the long wedding weekend. Not one person had any complaints about the lodging, and everyone raved on the food. We choose to have a rehearsal dinner lobster bake in the Clipper (boathouse) what a beautiful, old world feeling in that building. We decided to open our rehearsal to all our guest for shores and cocktail hour. Unfortunately, due to the hurricane, we had to skip the smores, but Sebasco was top notch in transporting our guests in the downpour. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Everything was in perfect place, and I can not say enough good things about the people who work on the resort. From opening doors, driving my elderly grandmother across the resort any time she felt like a tour, or making sure that the bridal suite was impeccably clean after we'd spent all morning getting ready and having breakfast the Sebasco staff is wonderful. Sebasco was one of the best decisions I ever made, and they truly made my wedding weekend, the best weekend of my life.

Simply put, our wedding at Sebasco Harbor Resort was wonderful! It was the best decision we’ve made. Maryanne and Melissa (the two wedding planners) were so great to work with. Sebasco made us all feel like our wedding was the only wedding they had all year. The resort worked with our guests to arrange rooms and almost everyone stayed on property. The rehearsal dinner at the Pilot House was superb. The staff were wonderful and after dinner the wedding party went down to Ledges Pub and hung out with all of the other guests who were on property. The next morning (the day of the wedding) the guests enjoyed the resort before the wedding by hanging out by the pool and enjoying all the amenities Sebasco has to offer. It was a mini vacation for everyone who came to the wedding. By the time the ceremony commenced everyone felt like they knew each other and they were friends. Maryanne and Melissa helped plan every detail; organizing the ceremony, picking the entrees while taking into account specific food allergies, and ensuring pizzas were ready in Ledges Pub after the reception. The wedding ran very smoothly and on time. The food was superb. Every guest had a blast!!!

The day of the wedding was amazing but everything leading up to it was so stressful between room block booking issues to bad communication. I loved my day of coordinator but everything else was so stressful. The day of was so smooth but I hated the fact that I felt stressed for months leading up.
