About this venue
The Bethel Inn Resort is a charming 1913 historical Inn Resort and scenic wedding venue located in the serene expanse between Oxford Foothill Mountains in the quaint little village of Bethel Maine. You and your partner can invite your nearest and dearest to celebrate your entire wedding weekend in the fun recreational-like atmosphere of the venue. From golf, mountain bike trails, hiking, lounging at the resort vintage Lakehouse, canoeing and kayaking, your wedding will be a weekend full of laughter, love, and incredible memories while you exchange vows in the idyllic setting. The serene venue is enveloped by lush green mountains and and only 20 minutes form Old Speck Mountain and the Appalachian Trail and is just 2 1/5 hours from Boston and 4 1/2 hours from New York City, making it an ideal space to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and share in the joy of your union.
You can invite up to 150 friends and family to mark the occasion with you, whether you choose to say your "I do's" in front mountain backdrop or in the vintage decorated formal Gibson Room or Main Dining Room. The venue can accommodate a tent or indoor wedding up to 150 guests in the 200-acre natural expanse. With two lakes on the property and endless rolling hills, your wedding photographs will be set to stunning backdrops as you go from ceremony to reception. The venue team provides buffet-style catering tailored to your preferences. The Bethel Inn is one of my absolute favorite venues! Not only is it right down the road from where I live but the wedding coordination, service, and beautiful venue are second to none. It really helps me get great photos (I am a wedding photographer) when the venue has their wedding services dialed in. The Bethel Inn certainly does! They provide delicious food and drink as well. Bethel, Maine is a gorgeous place to be married and the Bethel Inn is the perfect spot.
I was lucky enough to photograph an elopement at The Bethel Inn Resort, and the couple chose to use the lake house on Songo Pond on a rainy day. It was BEAUTIFUL! I can't overstate the beauty of the environment in Bethel, and at the Inn. It is a wonderful place to bring your family and guests for a wedding.
Dean and I love working with at The Bethel Inn Resort. Tammy does an amazing job coordinating the day and keeping everything flowing smoothly. She's always available to answer questions and is so helpful!
