From our very first meeting, we knew we were in great hands with Matt Towey from The Music Man DJ Service as our DJ. He was attentive to detail, accommodated special requests, and even practiced difficult name pronunciations until they were perfect, all while staying professional and friendly.

On our wedding day, he handled a tricky venue setup across multiple rooms with ease and made sure everything sounded great. But the highlight was the dance floor. We asked Matt to recreate the feel of a high school Homecoming dance (2006–2012 vibes), and he absolutely nailed it. Guests kept commenting on how fun and nostalgic the music was, the energy was amazing, and the dance floor stayed packed! We wish we could have kept the party going longer. We can’t recommend Matt and The Music Man DJ Service enough!

From Day 1, The Music Man DJ Service was the easiest and most responsive company to work with which was a no brainer for us when it came to picking a vendor.

We got Jeff Foran as our DJ and we can’t even tell you how incredible he was to work with. He was so patient with us since we were planning our own wedding and he knew how time consuming everything would be. He was helpful and respectful and listened to what we wanted and offered the best suggestions and really went above and beyond for us and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders when we weren’t sure how to curate the playlists or what we should use when we didn’t have any ideas of what else to add to our playlists. The final timeline and playlist was even better than we could have asked for.

During the actual wedding he did a wonderful job of keeping it organized, music was always flowing and he really kept the day and events on time and moving. The dance floor was full and cranking all night and we really had the best wedding of our lives and even our guests are still commenting on how much fun they had dancing all night and what a great time they had.

We hired DJ Shawn to emcee and DJ our wedding reception, and was that ever a good call. We were wary ahead of the wedding that not enough of our thirty attendees would be interested in taking to the dance floor. Turns out that after the first two beats of ‘Dancing Queen’, every single guest was on the dance floor. Shawn did a great job of managing the flow of the event, announcing all of the components of the reception expertly despite some moving timelines, and making us feel completely at ease that he had things under control.

We didn’t have to worry about anything, Shawn came well prepared, played a great setlist that was the desired blend of special requests and timeless classics. Would recommend him to anyone, really made our lives easier and facilitated a great time for all.
