Truly the best value (optimizing for both price and quality) waterfront venue out there -- much more incredible than the pictures, you really need to see it in person to appreciate it. My fiance and I looked at over 20 waterfront venues in 5 different regions of the country, and decided on the Stage Neck based on what looked to be an excellent quality service and stunning location / views at a very, very fair Saturday night price. We were even more pleased with the venue than we thought we would be when we'd booked. Several things truly exceeded our expectations -- the food was actual nice restaurant quality standard (NOT like a big chain hotel room service menu -- trust me I eat a lot of room service for my job and did not want this for my guests), Dawn is incredibly organized and easy to work with and ran everything extremely smoothly day of, the venue is overall a very honest establishment (they let us make some last minute changes with no charges -- which I find to be rare in the world of weddings, didn't have a bunch of extra line item fees). Based on my market research Stage Neck is probably underpriced compared to what they offer. Would 100% recommend and repeat our decision, and I look forward to returning to the property in coming years to celebrate our anniversary. One minor thing to note -- at least for our year, tastings were only held once a year, and most but not all food choices are available to try, but we were able to return to the venue at a separate time and try the couple of items we weren't able to have then at no charge (again, the venue went above and beyond to accommodate us).Sent on 12/23/2016

The Stage Neck Inn was the perfect spot for our Labor Day Weekend wedding. We were searching for the perfect Seacoast venue for our wedding, and the Stage Neck Inn really had it all-- breathtaking location, indoor and outdoor areas with the ability to keep the party going until 11pm, amazing food, and friendly, helpful staff. Dawn Whittemore, the wedding coordinator, knows her stuff, is cool and collected, and made sure that everything ran seamlessly for our wedding. No question fazed her, she went out of her way to accommodate our requests, and her easy-going, professional manner kept us calm even when planning a wedding from afar. The rest of the team at the Stage Neck Inn is also wonderful. The wait staff during the cocktail hour and reception was so helpful and attentive-- and they even followed me (the bride) around to make sure I got enough to eat! Scott was particularly great. And the food was suburb-- we got only raves, and the chef made sure to accommodate our gluten free and kosher guests. Such an ideal location for a celebration in Seacoast NH and Maine! Thank you for a wonder time and great memories!Sent on 09/15/2018

My husband and I got married at the Stage Neck Inn on Saturday, 9/23/17, and WOW – we were so happy and pleased with our decision! We reside in NJ and looked at many venues in the Ogunquit/York area for our destination wedding. We both loved and decided to go with the Stage Neck – and we were blown away by everything! Impeccable grounds and view of the harbor for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, reasonable wedding package $, updated guest rooms, superior quality of food, beyond courteous service, and ease of working with Dawn, Stage Neck’s onsite wedding coordinator. We 100% do not regret our decision! Our guests, most of whom had never been to southern Maine before, loved the views, food, and service. I was so thankful to have worked with Dawn – she replied to every question I had with patience and urgency, took care of my vendors before and on the day-of, helped our families, wedding party, husband and I with everything, and made sure every detail was taken care of with the upmost professionalism. Further, I cannot say enough about the Stage Neck Inn staff who worked our wedding – Bob, the bartender, was awesome, and Katie and the other servers were top-notch – I was even notified that my dinner was served so it didn’t get cold sitting on the table (yes, I actually had a chance to eat, which I hear most brides don’t get that luxury). The price for the quality of food was insane – I am a self-proclaimed foodie and everything I ate (coconut chicken finger, lamb lollipop, poke wonton, risotto cake, oysters on the half shell, lobster bisque, dinner rolls, seafood stuffed haddock, NY strip and even the daily included breakfast buffet) was outstanding and so fresh. Finally, I had several guests, including my mom, with Celiac disease, and Dawn and the staff accommodated my gluten-free/no contamination requests, including supplying GF dinner rolls! Dawn and the Stage Neck – thank you so much for making our wedding day so incredibly special! -Adam and BlairSent on 11/12/2017
The Stage Neck Inn is one of the most beautiful venue's on the seacoast. The views are beautiful and the cuisine is excellent! Wedding celebrations are fantastic. The ceremony on the ocean and the reception in the Harbor View Room is an incredible experience!
Stage Neck Inn is absolutely one of my favorite locations to photograph weddings and events. I live only 15 minutes from there and I am very familiar with the whole area. This Venue has amazing backgrounds for portraits and the staff is very professional in every way from accommodations, coordination, guidance, you name it. Their location is very nice too. There is plenty little spots to choose for photos - on the ocean, beach, park, cliffs, just about anything you can ask for. Great choice for a wedding day for sure :)
