We worked with Melanie at So Smitten for our October 2024 wedding and cannot say enough positive things! We went with the Darling Design Silver package (design + day-of coordination) and Melanie was thoughtful, creative, and a joy to work with! The spreadsheets helped us stay organized and sane and Melanie came to each design meeting bursting with ideas (while being a great listener to our ideas as well). Her generosity, professionalism, and enthusiasm made the planning process stress-free and our wedding day truly memorable. Even with a small hiccup with our videography day-of, our wedding day was PERFECT because Melanie handled everything like a pro (and we did not even know anything went wrong until the next day). I cannot think of a better compliment than this!

Catherine Rose Machado of An Event Two Be was absolutely perfect. She was fabulous at communicating with us, giving us money-saving ideas, heckling with vendors who wanted to overcharge, last-minute hiccups, and just making everyone feel great about themselves and their choices. On the day of, she was the best ever. When the junior attendants started whining because they wanted a flower girl basket with petals instead of the bouquets I had made for them, Cathy found a pretty bread basket to repurpose. When I realized that I didn't have a toss bouquet and the proper bouquet my florist gave me was heavy enough to brain someone with, Cathy quickly made one out of my ceremony decorations and unused cake flowers. She honed in on problem guests like a hawk, and did her best to keep them from rabble-rousing! She also saved us more money than she charged for her services, so I feel like I got a great deal. I have only wonderful things to say about her!

My sister had a destination wedding planned for June 2017 in CA. Myself living in Southern California, I was able to find Aimee at Sampaguita Events and she gladly took on wedding planning duties for an event a couple hours away from her office location. Aimee took the time to travel with my mom and I to the venue and also communicated well with my sister with frequent check-ins over the phone, Skype and email. Her commitment was strong those last few days as my sister and future brother in law flew into town a couple days before the wedding - coordinating minute by minute tasks ensuring the Bride and Groom were comfortable with all the details. On the day of the rehearsal, Aimee was warm and took charge of our large wedding party and took us through the parts of the ceremony. Then on the Big Day of she led our family crew of helpers to set up the venue in the time allotted, her staff took care of all the elements of the wedding, communicated well with the DJ and other vendors and kept the agenda going the entire evening all the way through clean up. We appreciate Aimee and she is definitely part of the family now with her excellent planning, coordination and execution of my sister’s beautiful June wedding.
