We worked with Melanie at So Smitten for our October 2024 wedding and cannot say enough positive things! We went with the Darling Design Silver package (design + day-of coordination) and Melanie was thoughtful, creative, and a joy to work with! The spreadsheets helped us stay organized and sane and Melanie came to each design meeting bursting with ideas (while being a great listener to our ideas as well).

Her generosity, professionalism, and enthusiasm made the planning process stress-free and our wedding day truly memorable. Even with a small hiccup with our videography day-of, our wedding day was PERFECT because Melanie handled everything like a pro (and we did not even know anything went wrong until the next day). I cannot think of a better compliment than this!

From the very beginning, Marni and her team were prompt in their communication and always approachable, helping us seamlessly integrate a lot of spontaneous ideas and requests from our parents into a cohesive, bright, bold, and fun weekend. If anything, she had to chase us on occasion (sorry Marni!), but she always maintained a calm and supportive attitude. To be honest, Marni was more than just a planner; she was a true friend throughout the entire process and that truly meant so much to me.

Everyone on her team exhibited the utmost professionalism. From the administrative side to the execution of events, they truly took care of everything, ensuring that we and our families could fully enjoy the celebrations. A BIG SHOUTOUT to that wedding planning spreadsheet - it was fabulous! It covered all the bases and ensured that everyone (including us!) knew exactly what to do and where to be. Marni's attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and creativity were evident in every aspect of the planning, from the little touches to the overall design vision of multiple events - she took care of it all!

There were a few minor mishaps, but anything that did come up got resolved quickly and without question. When the stress of the weekend started to get to us, Marni was there as a genuine friend and supporter, even suggesting a mobile IV vitamin drip, which I really wish I had taken her up on! Some things you just cannot plan for, but the team were always on top of everything. Everything was handled with such grace, pulling all the strings together to make everything work out. Marni definitely prevented us from getting lost among all the ideas, vendors, and plans for multiple events!

Our wedding weekend was beautiful, filled with love and laughter. Friends and family from across the globe joined us to celebrate our marriage, and Marni and her team made that possible. We know it was hard work, and we are incredibly grateful beyond words. It may sound clichéd, but it's so true - none of it would have been possible without Marni and her team. She was our fairy godmother throughout the whole process from start to finish. We would wholeheartedly recommend Marni and her incredible team to everyone. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are also the kindest, most thoughtful people out there. Words cannot describe how grateful we are, and we're very sorry that this review is so long overdue!

There are so many good things that my spouse and I have to say about So Smitten, it's hard to know where to begin. They have many packages available that make it easy to scale up or down how much involvement you want from them. However, we want to in particular speak to the remarkable work that our wedding coordinator Shaunte did. Throughout the planning process, Shaunte was our rock, a great sounding board when it comes to logistics, aesthetics, and the practicality of how we wanted our wedding to be. She always reassured us in our decisions and she always came with thoughtful suggestions when we were stumped. She never steered us wrong in any part of the process. On our wedding day, Shaunte was incredibly organized and calm in the face of some unexpected delays and surprises caused by our guests. She was always on top of things and quick on her feet to make sure our day went smoothly. After our wedding, we faced some difficulties with our venue with unexpected billing that we were not prepared for. Even though their duties were over, Shaunte and So Smitten stuck with us to help us communicate with the venue about resolving the issue. My spouse and I were truly in awe about their integrity, kindness, and their absolute desire to help their clients. I honestly have no idea how we would have handled our wedding day without them.

I could not possibly be happier that we hired So Smitten for our destination wedding in Palm Springs. Sabrina was amazing and with the DIY package she was able to execute my vision exactly as I dreamed. I had a very specific aesthetic I wanted and I was floored when I saw how she brought it all together. Truly amazing.

Everyone in the family and wedding party was impressed with Sabrina, both on the day and leading up as she communicated the timeline and then kept it on track. She always answered my emails right away and was so helpful every time which gave me a lot of peace of mind. During our venue walk through she asked so many questions I never would have thought of. During the wedding itself she managed all of those details and the vendors so well, I was never approached with any issues myself so everything felt perfectly smooth as the bride. Plus she handled wedding crashers more than once!

I highly recommend So Smitten, I can't imagine our day without Sabrina. Both my husband and I agree booking her team was the best money spent.

So Smitten is seriously amazing! I worked with Marni and Sabrina. They were both wonderful and so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and in the months leading up to the wedding. We are so thankful for Marni and Sabrina!! Our wedding day, pre wedding, planning and just a helpful group when we had questions. We kept saying “we just don’t know what we don’t know” and both Marni and Sabrina are beyond helpful, quick to respond and super knowledgeable. We are so thankful we had Sabrina at our wedding and know we wouldn’t of been able to pull off our dream wedding with out her.

Groom review: I wasn't involved when selecting So Smitten, and honestly wasn't sure what to expect throughout the process. In meeting with Marni to go over the details of the day, I was blown away by how organized she was. She had the wedding day planned to the minute and knew all the right questions to ask when speaking with the person managing the venue. On our wedding day, Marni and her team of coordinators made sure everything was perfect! We didn't have to worry about anything. They were so communicative to the wedding party that none of our friends and family had any excuse not to know where they should be and when. There were only a few minor hiccups and So Smitten handled them flawlessly. For instance, our venue made sure we picked how our napkins should be folded. We wouldn't have cared but after they made us choose, we designed an insert specific to the napkins describing the meal and with the names of the wedding party, etc. Unfortunately, all the napkins were wrong when we first looked at the room. We wouldn't have cared but they made a big deal of having us select a style. We mentioned it to Marni and she took care of the whole situation. They started to say that this is what we choose and Marni knew exactly where in the contract it listed the napkin fold and showed it to them. Marni and the team's attention to detail was fantastic. They were making sure my bride and I were happy the whole day and had to worry about as little as possible. I can't recommend them enough!!!

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience! Marni is not only a consummate professional, but a fantastic person, to boot. For every question or problem we ran into throughout our planning process, she had a solution. She knows her business so well, and has excellent relationships with all of the best vendors in the area. Everyone loves Marni, and it shows!

On the day of our ceremony, she and her team were invaluable. Everything went so smoothly for us; we were able to relax and enjoy our reception knowing that everything was in Marni's capable hands. She is, simply put, the best at what she does.
