Sophia from The Special Day was a gift from heaven! We were so overwhelmed with the options for planning a wedding on top of full time jobs that we found her through the hotel we wanted to get married at. Before even meeting with us she was already helping us out - which thoroughly impressed us so much we signed her as soon as we met her. She made wedding planning easy and fun and at the end we not only got married but made a lifelong friend. Our guests and families are still talking about our amazing wedding! She is detailed oriented, prompt, organized, helpful, generous with her time and ideas, and most importantly so kind, loving, and patient. Lana was my sister’s coordinator in January and me and my family loved her so much she coordinated my wedding 2 months after in March! To say the least, 2019 was a crazy busy year for me and I couldn’t have survived the first quarter of the year without Lana. I’m fairly experienced with wedding planning and I always thought I didn’t need one...until I met Lana. She is more than just a coordinator - she instantly makes you feel cared for and listened to. She is a friend and confidant that you absolutely didn’t know you needed. The most special experience I shared with Lana is that we prayed for each other during my wedding planning journey. It can get stressful at times and both me and my husband just got promotions so our daily lives were extremely hectic. Lana understood my pressures and delayed email responses and embraced with me love and prayers. I will always feel so blessed and thankful to Lana and her heart so being the perfect wedding coordinator for me. We were referred to Bonny by my sister-in-law, and it was the best choice we made for our wedding. Here’s all the amazing things she did: 1. She’s decisive, reliable, and responsive. We got the design package with her because I am super hopeless with anything design or aesthetic related. I asked her countless questions about colors (groomsmen/bridesmen look, guestbook design, stationary, etc) and she answered them all. 2. She knows where the deals are and she will make sure you will meet your budget. 3. She was a tiebreaker. Every time my husband and I differed on a wedding detail, we would always defer to her opinion because we trusted she knew what would work. 4. Expanding on point #3, it was great to work with someone who’s planned countless wedding events and have seen it all because you could trust her to tell you if a planning detail was going to work or not. 5. Super flexible—she always did her best to work in last minute planning details. For example, I asked my dad to perform with the guitar at my wedding, and two weeks before the wedding, he told me he wanted to do a singalong. She got the lyrics printed out in time, and when the singalong happened at the wedding, it was a blast. People loved that they had lyrics to sing to. 6. Vision wise, she made it all happen. The centerpieces and decor had the personal touch that I knew was very me. 7. She magically knew about the things I cared about and the things I didn’t care about. For example, she spent a lot of time with me making wedding favors. I’ve been told by other brides that either they regretted spending too much time on favors or that they went with simpler things because they didn’t have enough time. But instead of telling me not to focus on the favors, she instead went the extra mile to find the right packaging for the favors, I got my bridal party together to help me get it done within four hours, and they looked amazing. People told me they were excited to try the tea we specially packaged in the favors. Absolutely no regrets there. 8. She got the wedding going on time, without a hitch, and pushed it forward. 9. My family told me that I looked so relaxed and so happy at my wedding. That’s a first because I can get anxious when it comes to hosting a party, but Bonny took the weight and anxiety off my shoulders and made everything happen so seamlessly. She’s upbeat, trustworthy, and empathetic. Best wedding decision I made, ever.

We hired Dena David as our DOC and it was hands down the best wedding-related decision we made. I cannot adequately describe how much we owe to her - our wedding was a dream and she is 100% responsible. She goes so far above and beyond - she will make you think you are her one and only event for the entire season, even though you know she is throwing several every weekend. She put up with so many questions, requests, last minute changes, bridezilla freakouts ("DENA WHERE IS EVERYONE WE ARENT GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR PICTURES OMG AAAHHH!"), and rambunctious wedding guests (there was double dutch happening on the dance floor at one point) and did it all with the biggest of smiles. She remembers and thinks of EVERYTHING. Including tiny but important details like thinking to untie my great-grandmother's priceless pocketwatch from my bouquet and stick it away safe after I've had several champagne flutes of fancy beer and zero idea where I left my flowers. When I walked into the venue, it was all so much prettier than I had envisioned - she totally got my vision. Also, she knows EVERYONE and everyone knows her - several of our vendors instantly knew her by name and had the most wonderful things to say about working with her. Nothing put me more at more ease. Dena truly enjoys weddings and truly loves planning them... Thank you, thank you, thank you Dena! Best wedding ever!

We are sooo appreciative and grateful for her calm and efficient manner. She was kind and professional, made us feel so in control and as mom of the bride I was not the least bit stressed!
