Wedding Cakes in Orange County

We knew of Patty Cakes reputation (there’s often a long line at the store) so we were excited to see our wedding venue was partnered up with them. The free cake tasting was delicious and the communication w them throughout the whole process was super easy and smooth. Everyone was so friendly! The day of the wedding, everyone enjoyed their cake :)

We got married on 11/22/2025 and searched many places before finding the perfect wedding cake. We wanted something elegant and beautiful, but most importantly something that tasted incredible, and Sweet Traders truly exceeded our expectations. Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, professional, and made the entire process feel seamless and stress free. She guided us in choosing the perfect flavors, size, and design, all while keeping us within our budget, which we really appreciated. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the cake was, and it added such a special touch to our celebration. Thank you, Sweet Traders, for helping make our wedding day unforgettable and so sweet.

We found Natalie at Sweet As Love because we were looking for wedding cake flavors beyond the standard (*ahem* boring) options, and Natalie certainly delivered! We ended up going with 2 flavors: blueberry lavender and almond dulce de leche. Natalie was also super willing to try out custom flavors for us, which we really appreciated even though we ended up not picking them! One of the standout qualities was that Natalie uses real fruit in her fruit-flavored fillings, which made the fillings taste so refreshing. I also knew very early on that I wanted to feature a figure of our dog and make it look like our dog had been munching on some of the cake frosting, and Natalie executed this PERFECTLY. We got so many compliments from our guests on the flavors AND on the adorable decoration with our pup. We had so much cake left over from the day (because we majorly over-ordered) that my husband and I ate some practically every day for a few weeks, and we never got tired of it!

Oh my gosh I can’t say enough for this cake!!! Creative Cakes was the cake shop that our venue has a partnership with. We had a tasting months before the big day and we could not be happier with how the cake looked and tasted. The cake to frosting ratio was perfect. The buttercream is out of this world! I asked for an extra serving of buttercream to go with my cake. Overall, the cake was a smash hit both in looks and in taste!

We did a tiered cake and bundtinis for our wedding. So so amazingly delicious! Our guests loved them! So easy, we ordered the week before and they even delivered to our venue on the day of the wedding!

EXTRAORDINARY CAKES!!! Outstandingly beautiful. Jackyln’s cake was everything I wanted and much more! It was aesthetically gorgeous and had the fall, modern, elegance beauty that completely went above and beyond my expectations. I would give way more than 5 stars!!! The level of customization and attention to detail is so impressive. She helped guide me to certain things I loved and what I envisioned in the style and design. The design was perfection and catered to the design of our venue. She asked us pictures and designs of our sweetheart table, the floral arrangements at our table and all of our guests centerpieces to get a cohesive design of the cake to the entire ensemble. She also paid attention to our wedding invitation and color palette! Please mind that I did not want an all white wedding cake. I wanted some color to add a unique flair to our elegant fall wedding color palette. Please check out ALL of her beautiful white cake designs on her site if you are looking to do an all white cake. They are extremely gorgeous!!!! The flavors and taste of the cake was DIVINE!!!!! It has a high level of standard to the level of texture and smoothness of the buttercream. ALL the flavors we had were so unique! Dark Chocolate with Raspberry buttercream on the bottom tier, Oolong Tea Cake with Oolong Buttercream, and Earl Grey Tea Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream!! The flavors were customized to what I liked. Jacklyn walked us through flavor samples and really engaged us in the process. It was an amazing experience to build a customized cake together with my fiancé.. now husband! I am 100% satisfied and extremely happy to share this review because this cake was epic. All my families and guests loved it.

Gina (Owner) was responsive, creative, very fun person to do business with. she followed our wishes and gave us ideas. Truly a great experience working with her.

We purchased our cake and pastries here based on the recommendation from our wedding planner. We found all of their sweets to be great quality and of very reasonable value. Several of our guests asked even us where we got our deserts from during our wedding. Well done Susie Cakes!

Julian was brilliant - we are so happy we went with him for our big day! We contacted Julian after finding his work on Instagram and he arranged a consultation and cake tasting session with us. Julian was down to earth and an absolute pleasure to work with - he listened to us and was able to provide us with 3 creative cake designs to choose from! The final product looked and tasted absolutely incredible!! I’d recommend Julian to absolutely anyone looking for a unique cake with that creative edge!
