My name is Maryann and I am the owner of Missys Divine Desserts. As a child, my family called me Missy and that is how I chose the name for my business. I always would watch my mother and grandmother bake as a child and tried to help, when I could. I now have 13 years experience as a baker, pastry chef and cake decorator. I am self taught, and taught by other decorators and bakers and did not go to school for this trade. I currently work out of my home and hope to have my own store in the future.

I make cakes for all occasions, but specialize in Weddings. I believe what sets me apart from my competitors is that I prefer to use whipped topping, rather than butter cream and also use whpped cream based fillings, rather than preserves or jelly's. My cakes are not typical overly sweet cakes.
