I have been in the wedding industry for 16 years. Professionally planning weddings for others. This fall, I got to be a Bride myself. With many years of experience, it was easy to choose who I wanted bakery wise. Getting to be a Bride with Beverly’s Bakery confirmed why I send my Bride’s there. Cake is a big thing in my family. My Grandmother and Mom are in the baking industry and have had cake be apart of every special occasion in our family. My bar for cake is rather high. My now Husband and I met with Maria to do the cake tasting and design - it was the sweetest thing ever! It was one of our favorite parts of planning the wedding. Such a special experience. You can tell that cake, and people are Beverly’s Bakery’s passion too. I even got to meet the magic makers who bake the cakes – they have an amazing team of ladies. It was so much fun tasting their different cakes, fillings, buttercreams and their design + kindness were top notch. I had a small vintage picture of my Grandma decorating the cake for my Mom & Dad’s wedding and asked that the cake have a similar style. Phenomenal cake and gorgeous to boot! Beverly's Bakery was super flexible with helping us bring our vision together! I had sculpted our cake topper and little pug to add to our cake and they were more than happy to apply them to the cake for me!
The tasting was wonderful and the consultant was very supportive and helpful when it came to figuring out flavors and styles. We ended up doing a marble cake with raspberry and buttercream frosting on the inside. We had our 2 tier for us to cut into and keep for our anniversary and a couple of sheet cakes for them to cut and serve in the kitchen. Every single one of my guests let me know how much they loved the cake!

Beverly's Bakery made our wedding cake for our wedding on 10/5/19 at the Summit House. They were one of the preferred vendors from our venue and we could not have been more pleased. We tried out two different bakeries and there really was no comparison to Beverly's Bakery. When we came for our cake tasting we had such a fun experience. They were very attentive and friendly to us while we were there and she completely captured our simple vision as she designed our cake. Plus, the flavors were absolutely yummy and they were very helpful & insightful in helping us make decisions. We ended up going with a strawberry cake that our guests raved about. It's not often that guests really eat the cake, but our guests really ate the cake and loved it. We also got a personal cake/top tier to take home. However, we knew how good that cake was, so we didn't even save it to eat on our anniversary. Nope, we brought it with us on our mini honeymoon to enjoy. Overall they were great to work with and I would highly recommend them, but keep in mind we did book them for our wedding several months in advance and it really helped everything flow.
