We were referred to Bonny by my sister-in-law, and it was the best choice we made for our wedding.

Here’s all the amazing things she did:
1. She’s decisive, reliable, and responsive. We got the design package with her because I am super hopeless with anything design or aesthetic related. I asked her countless questions about colors (groomsmen/bridesmen look, guestbook design, stationary, etc) and she answered them all.
2. She knows where the deals are and she will make sure you will meet your budget.
3. She was a tiebreaker. Every time my husband and I differed on a wedding detail, we would always defer to her opinion because we trusted she knew what would work.
4. Expanding on point #3, it was great to work with someone who’s planned countless wedding events and have seen it all because you could trust her to tell you if a planning detail was going to work or not.
5. Super flexible—she always did her best to work in last minute planning details. For example, I asked my dad to perform with the guitar at my wedding, and two weeks before the wedding, he told me he wanted to do a singalong. She got the lyrics printed out in time, and when the singalong happened at the wedding, it was a blast. People loved that they had lyrics to sing to.
6. Vision wise, she made it all happen. The centerpieces and decor had the personal touch that I knew was very me.
7. She magically knew about the things I cared about and the things I didn’t care about. For example, she spent a lot of time with me making wedding favors. I’ve been told by other brides that either they regretted spending too much time on favors or that they went with simpler things because they didn’t have enough time. But instead of telling me not to focus on the favors, she instead went the extra mile to find the right packaging for the favors, I got my bridal party together to help me get it done within four hours, and they looked amazing. People told me they were excited to try the tea we specially packaged in the favors. Absolutely no regrets there.
8. She got the wedding going on time, without a hitch, and pushed it forward.
9. My family told me that I looked so relaxed and so happy at my wedding. That’s a first because I can get anxious when it comes to hosting a party, but Bonny took the weight and anxiety off my shoulders and made everything happen so seamlessly.

She’s upbeat, trustworthy, and empathetic. Best wedding decision I made, ever.

We're a couple from San Jose that tried to do their own planning remotely. Most of my family lives in the Los Angeles area and my wife's side would need to fly down regardless. Needless to say, it was more work and more stressful knowing we couldn't visit and look for vendors near our wedding location. We knew what kind of wedding we wanted, but had trouble tying all of the ideas together. We found B-Spoke Events through Wedding Wire, and after the initial consultation, Bonny took the load off our shoulders.

Bonny is warm, friendly, and very receptive! We didn't even have to think about the wedding planning at all and we hardly had to lift a finger. She would come up with ideas and we got to pick or add to our own. It was incredibly easy. Bonny is also bilingual in Vietnamese, which helped tremendously with the language barrier in my side of the family. Come wedding day, everything was WAY better than we had both dreamed for.

TLDR: B-Spoke Events was worth every single penny and would recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect wedding.

My husband and I hired Bonny to help us coordinate our wedding in June 2018, so this review is long overdue. I can honestly say that hiring Bonny was the best decision we made and yielded the greatest return on our investment of all the wedding expenses we incurred. Our engagement was short, barely 5.5 months, so we didn't have a lot of time to shop vendors and options. We hired Bonny immediately after we secured our date and venue, and she made herself available to answer questions and help us from day one. She helped us answer random questions about decor, colors, centerpieces (and more!) and provided some amazing vendor recommendations to help us get our planning done efficiently. She coordinated with all of my vendors so that when the day came, it went seamlessly...well, at least from our perspective. I honestly have no idea if anything went wrong on the day of or not, because Bonny was there Captaining the ship and taking care of everything. My photographer told me that she greatly appreciated how organized she was because she knew when/where all the key photo opps would be taking place. She single-handedly made the day go off without a hitch. I can't recommend her highly enough!!!

My wedding could not have happened without Bonnie! I'm totally the most indecisive person ever and she was able to work with me and help me work through all of my decisions even with me changing my mind all the time! Everything went super smoothly the day of and I didn't have to worry at all.

For our 7/7/18 wedding, we booked Bonny and her team for month-of coordination about a year in advance. She is professional, has great communication skills, and was so helpful in the entire planning process, always willing to be available for answers to any of our questions.

She has such insightful advice and great ideas for so many little aspects that you would normally overlook, and is well versed in Vietnamese traditions. Having her there for the day-of coordination allowed us to focus on having a great time, rather than on logistics.

Also, we booked her to decorate our sweetheart table with a backdrop of drapery and bookshelves, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous.

I hired Bonny as a day-of coordinator for our wedding on June 30, 2018. In hindsight, I should have just hired her for full service wedding planning. My husband was hesitant about hiring a coordinator at all, thinking that we really didn't need it since we'll have a full bridal party. Needless to say, by the first meeting with Bonny he was absolutely convinced - we are lucky to have Bonny. We had a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony, Catholic church ceremony, and modern Vietnamese style reception. That's a butt-load of moving parts for ONE day.

Even though we only hired her as a day-of coordinator, she worked with us tirelessly months before our wedding to make sure we were meeting important deadlines. She gave us numerous referrals to vendors who are "Vietnamese friendly," that is, they understood important details about Vietnamese traditional customs. Bonny herself is Vietnamese and knowledgeable about all the traditions and customs, which was very helpful since we weren't sure how to handle the Tea Ceremony. She also gave us ideas to modernize our reception.

Bonny was with me (bride) all day, except for when she needed to spot check the Venue for our arrival and for first look. Her real value is making sure things are progressing pursuant to the timeline, which is important when you have a full 20 hour wedding day herding dozens upon dozens of people, and a million things going on at the same time. How terrible is it for the newlyweds to have to problem solve on their special day? Although a bridal party is absolutely indispensable on a wedding day, sometimes the bridal party isn't familiar with the area or resources, and they aren't able to help. This is where Bonny comes in - she will handle issues, she will herd cats, and she will figure it out so that you don't have to. She will be the bad guy for you - which is priceless

Bonny and her team are amazing! We went through B-Spoke Events for day of coordinating and they exceeded our expectations. Planning a wedding was stressful, but Bonny always made me feel at ease. I felt very comfortable asking her any questions and she was always super responsive. I really don't think we could have planned our wedding without her. She went above and beyond throughout our entire planning process and I loved that during our last meeting, Bonny made it feel effortless while planning our day of timeline. We also went through B-Spoke Events for our wedding invitations, seating chart, and table numbers which turned out beautiful! I hired Bonny to help with the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony portion of my big wedding day in Topanga Canyon. Most of my Vietnamese relatives live across the country so it was important to me to have someone knowledgeable close by to help make sure we were keeping in tradition for the tea ceremony. Bonny was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what I had imagined. She was able to give the proper guidance during phone calls to my mom, mother-in-law, and me on what to expect for the tea ceremony and how to make it our own. She went and checked out the site beforehand, rented/purchased, set up, and took down all of the beautiful decor and food items on the day of, and chose decor that was both simple but also enough to transform the room. She led the ceremony the day of with the help of her assistant (who gave me a good pep talk as I waited nervously to be "presented"), giving the groom and I guidance on what to do even down to the poses for the photos! I would absolutely recommend B-Spoke Events, especially if you need help planning a tea ceremony and don't know where to begin like I did! Bonny knows what's up!

We hired Bonny for her full service wedding package services. I was nervous that "full-service" would not actually be "full-service" and I would end up doing a lot of the work myself. I was so grateful, impressed, and truly blown away by everything Bonny did for us. From just a few pictures on Pinterest and trying to express my vision to Bonny during conversations, she somehow knew exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life on the big day. She helped us choose the BEST vendors for everything (pictures, deserts, flowers, DJ) and handled almost all of the communications and arrangements with the vendors. Thanks to Bonny, I was one of the least stressed out brides ever! I knew she had everything under control from our first meeting to the very end of the wedding (including the break down/clean up).
