Hiring Bonny was the best wedding decision ever.

We were referred to Bonny by my sister-in-law, and it was the best choice we made for our wedding.

Here’s all the amazing things she did:
1. She’s decisive, reliable, and responsive. We got the design package with her because I am super hopeless with anything design or aesthetic related. I asked her countless questions about colors (groomsmen/bridesmen look, guestbook design, stationary, etc) and she answered them all.
2. She knows where the deals are and she will make sure you will meet your budget.
3. She was a tiebreaker. Every time my husband and I differed on a wedding detail, we would always defer to her opinion because we trusted she knew what would work.
4. Expanding on point #3, it was great to work with someone who’s planned countless wedding events and have seen it all because you could trust her to tell you if a planning detail was going to work or not.
5. Super flexible—she always did her best to work in last minute planning details. For example, I asked my dad to perform with the guitar at my wedding, and two weeks before the wedding, he told me he wanted to do a singalong. She got the lyrics printed out in time, and when the singalong happened at the wedding, it was a blast. People loved that they had lyrics to sing to.
6. Vision wise, she made it all happen. The centerpieces and decor had the personal touch that I knew was very me.
7. She magically knew about the things I cared about and the things I didn’t care about. For example, she spent a lot of time with me making wedding favors. I’ve been told by other brides that either they regretted spending too much time on favors or that they went with simpler things because they didn’t have enough time. But instead of telling me not to focus on the favors, she instead went the extra mile to find the right packaging for the favors, I got my bridal party together to help me get it done within four hours, and they looked amazing. People told me they were excited to try the tea we specially packaged in the favors. Absolutely no regrets there.
8. She got the wedding going on time, without a hitch, and pushed it forward.
9. My family told me that I looked so relaxed and so happy at my wedding. That’s a first because I can get anxious when it comes to hosting a party, but Bonny took the weight and anxiety off my shoulders and made everything happen so seamlessly.

She’s upbeat, trustworthy, and empathetic. Best wedding decision I made, ever.

Creative, friendly, responsive, and professional!

We're a couple from San Jose that tried to do their own planning remotely. Most of my family lives in the Los Angeles area and my wife's side would need to fly down regardless. Needless to say, it was more work and more stressful knowing we couldn't visit and look for vendors near our wedding location. We knew what kind of wedding we wanted, but had trouble tying all of the ideas together. We found B-Spoke Events through Wedding Wire, and after the initial consultation, Bonny took the load off our shoulders.

Bonny is warm, friendly, and very receptive! We didn't even have to think about the wedding planning at all and we hardly had to lift a finger. She would come up with ideas and we got to pick or add to our own. It was incredibly easy. Bonny is also bilingual in Vietnamese, which helped tremendously with the language barrier in my side of the family. Come wedding day, everything was WAY better than we had both dreamed for.

TLDR: B-Spoke Events was worth every single penny and would recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect wedding.

Please do yourself a favor and hire Bonny NOW!!!

My husband and I hired Bonny to help us coordinate our wedding in June 2018, so this review is long overdue. I can honestly say that hiring Bonny was the best decision we made and yielded the greatest return on our investment of all the wedding expenses we incurred. Our engagement was short, barely 5.5 months, so we didn't have a lot of time to shop vendors and options. We hired Bonny immediately after we secured our date and venue, and she made herself available to answer questions and help us from day one. She helped us answer random questions about decor, colors, centerpieces (and more!) and provided some amazing vendor recommendations to help us get our planning done efficiently. She coordinated with all of my vendors so that when the day came, it went seamlessly...well, at least from our perspective. I honestly have no idea if anything went wrong on the day of or not, because Bonny was there Captaining the ship and taking care of everything. My photographer told me that she greatly appreciated how organized she was because she knew when/where all the key photo opps would be taking place. She single-handedly made the day go off without a hitch. I can't recommend her highly enough!!!

My wedding could not have happened without Bonnie! I'm totally the most indecisive person ever and she was able to work with me and help me work through all of my decisions even with me changing my mind all the time! Everything went super smoothly the day of and I didn't have to worry at all.

Bonny is, simply put, amazing.

For our 7/7/18 wedding, we booked Bonny and her team for month-of coordination about a year in advance. She is professional, has great communication skills, and was so helpful in the entire planning process, always willing to be available for answers to any of our questions.

She has such insightful advice and great ideas for so many little aspects that you would normally overlook, and is well versed in Vietnamese traditions. Having her there for the day-of coordination allowed us to focus on having a great time, rather than on logistics.

Also, we booked her to decorate our sweetheart table with a backdrop of drapery and bookshelves, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous.

If you want to have your wedding be the best day of your life, book her now!

I hired Bonny as a day-of coordinator for our wedding on June 30, 2018. In hindsight, I should have just hired her for full service wedding planning. My husband was hesitant about hiring a coordinator at all, thinking that we really didn't need it since we'll have a full bridal party. Needless to say, by the first meeting with Bonny he was absolutely convinced - we are lucky to have Bonny. We had a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony, Catholic church ceremony, and modern Vietnamese style reception. That's a butt-load of moving parts for ONE day.

Even though we only hired her as a day-of coordinator, she worked with us tirelessly months before our wedding to make sure we were meeting important deadlines. She gave us numerous referrals to vendors who are "Vietnamese friendly," that is, they understood important details about Vietnamese traditional customs. Bonny herself is Vietnamese and knowledgeable about all the traditions and customs, which was very helpful since we weren't sure how to handle the Tea Ceremony. She also gave us ideas to modernize our reception.

Bonny was with me (bride) all day, except for when she needed to spot check the Venue for our arrival and for first look. Her real value is making sure things are progressing pursuant to the timeline, which is important when you have a full 20 hour wedding day herding dozens upon dozens of people, and a million things going on at the same time. How terrible is it for the newlyweds to have to problem solve on their special day? Although a bridal party is absolutely indispensable on a wedding day, sometimes the bridal party isn't familiar with the area or resources, and they aren't able to help. This is where Bonny comes in - she will handle issues, she will herd cats, and she will figure it out so that you don't have to. She will be the bad guy for you - which is priceless

Bonny and her team are amazing! We went through B-Spoke Events for day of coordinating and they exceeded our expectations. Planning a wedding was stressful, but Bonny always made me feel at ease. I felt very comfortable asking her any questions and she was always super responsive. I really don't think we could have planned our wedding without her. She went above and beyond throughout our entire planning process and I loved that during our last meeting, Bonny made it feel effortless while planning our day of timeline. We also went through B-Spoke Events for our wedding invitations, seating chart, and table numbers which turned out beautiful! It was also a plus that we didn't have to go through an extra vendor to deal with that. Thank you again, Bonny and B-Spoke Events team for everything you had done for us! We really could not have done it without you guys!

I hired Bonny to help with the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony portion of my big wedding day in Topanga Canyon. Most of my Vietnamese relatives live across the country so it was important to me to have someone knowledgeable close by to help make sure we were keeping in tradition for the tea ceremony. Bonny was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what I had imagined. She was able to give the proper guidance during phone calls to my mom, mother-in-law, and me on what to expect for the tea ceremony and how to make it our own. She went and checked out the site beforehand, rented/purchased, set up, and took down all of the beautiful decor and food items on the day of, and chose decor that was both simple but also enough to transform the room. She led the ceremony the day of with the help of her assistant (who gave me a good pep talk as I waited nervously to be "presented"), giving the groom and I guidance on what to do even down to the poses for the photos! I would absolutely recommend B-Spoke Events, especially if you need help planning a tea ceremony and don't know where to begin like I did! Bonny knows what's up!

We hired Bonny for her full service wedding package services. I was nervous that "full-service" would not actually be "full-service" and I would end up doing a lot of the work myself. I was so grateful, impressed, and truly blown away by everything Bonny did for us. From just a few pictures on Pinterest and trying to express my vision to Bonny during conversations, she somehow knew exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life on the big day. She helped us choose the BEST vendors for everything (pictures, deserts, flowers, DJ) and handled almost all of the communications and arrangements with the vendors. Thanks to Bonny, I was one of the least stressed out brides ever! I knew she had everything under control from our first meeting to the very end of the wedding (including the break down/clean up). Working with Bonny was an absolute dream! From helping us plan our entire tablescape to simply calling vendors to ask a quick question for us, Bonny was able to make our wedding planning process as stress-free and fun as possible. As someone who is completely inept in design, I was blown away that Bonny could take a few of my Pinterest pictures and turn them into the exact vision of my dream wedding. What I really enjoyed the most about working with Bonny was how personal she made the wedding planning process. While most event planners only see numbers, vendors, and decorations, Bonny truly gets to know her clients on a personal level and does all she can to include your personalities in the design. We can't wait to work with her again for our events in the future.

We used Bonny for "day of coordination" which really ends up being so much more than that! She was the first one on site and last one to leave. Through out the whole planning process, she was available to us, and she was super responsive. She made our wedding day look even better than we had imagined (she has a great eye for making your night look magical!). She was on top of everything each step of the way (and making sure you are on top of your stuff too while helping wherever she can). She is beyond organized and professional and makes you feel as if this was her wedding too.

We'll keep this short and sweet, but hands down, Bonny at B-Spoke Events is best! Everyone says that the bride and groom usually never gets to enjoy their wedding day because of all things that go on throughout the day, both upfront and behind the scenes. Needless to say, our wedding day became one of our most memorable and if not, the happiest day of our lives up to this point. If you ever need a wedding coordinator, Bonny is your girl! We were referred to Bonny from one of our friends and booked her for the day-of wedding coordination. From the time we booked her to the actual wedding day, Bonny was very proactive and made sure we completed all the necessary tasks in a timely manner. She was involved in our wedding decor, gave us ideas and suggestions for vendors, and met with us many times for walk-thrus at our venue to make sure everything is the way we wanted during the day-of. She created a master timeline for us, which was super helpful for all of us during the wedding day. Everytime I had an issue, she had a solution and took care of it right away for me. She was there to contact all my vendors whenever an issue arise. On our wedding day, Bonny and her team showed up on time and took care of all of us. We decided to book a wedding coordinator for the day of the wedding a little less than a month before the wedding and it was the best decision we made, especially with all the help we received from Bonny! She is extremely helpful, responsive, and very on-point. We didn’t worry one bit the day of the wedding, all the details and vendor coordination was handled. I love Bonny. She is amazing. It was a big pleasure for me to get a chance to work with her. She did my wedding amazingly beautiful. She decorated our church ceremony in a modern style. Instead of adding bowls in between the rows of benches, she put stands with lanterns and flowers. That made the church look more fancy. My family and cousins were aah-ing and ooh-ing when they came to our reception. The whole theme was so gorgeous. My wife and I are really happy. We will hire Bonny for our future events for sure, .

Bonny is very fast, talented, and professional. She made my wedding unforgettable. From the beginning, both my husband and I had no clue what to do and how to prep for a wedding. Bonny helped us with all her heart. She showed us steps by steps and explained the whole process patiently. She eased away all our stress and we love how she's always on top of everything. My wedding was beyond what we had expected. We could not believe in our eyes when we entered our reception restaurant. Bonny turned a whole regular looking restaurant into a wonderful fancy looking wedding reception. We enjoyed our wedding so much. All my guests loved the way Bonny decorated and how she put all the colors together. Some of them even asked for her business cards so they could hire her for their future event. That makes me a bit jealous though. Just want to keep her as my best secret event planner :)

B-Spoke Events was truly incredible! Led by the ever-focused and always detailed Bonny - B-Spoke Events made sure to create the perfect day for my wife and I. Our ceremony and reception was held at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church, where I have attended for over a decade. More than 100 of our guests and helpers are members of the church or have spent significant time there. It was amazing how seemingly every one of them made it a point to tell my wife and I that the Social Hall no longer looked like the dimly lit and cavernous space that it once was. Bonny took full advantage of her vendor relationships and her keen eye to transform WPC into a glorious place for my wife and I to begin our lives together. We could not have asked for any more! Plus, my wife and I did not worry about a single detail the whole day! Everything was handled behind the scenes by B-Spoke Events.

PLUS, she worked within our budget the whole time...I like that ;)

My wife and I cannot stop talking and reflecting on how special our day was and how important it was that the space looked as it did, the day flowed as it did, and our guests enjoyed as they did. Without Bonny and the rest of the B-Spoke Events team (+ all of the vendors that are readily leveraged), this would not have been possible. It was the best day of our lives and we would not have done it any differently.

Bonnie and her team are true professionals, we definitely recommend booking at least the day of coordination package if not more!

We actually were not planning to hire a coordinator until we found out it was a requirement from our venue to have a day of coordinator. And thank goodness for this! I found Bonny through our florist and contacted her immediately, unfortunately she had already been booked for that day, but she put us in the very capable hands of her second coordinator, Allison, to be there for the big day. We booked B-Spokes events about 5 months prior to our wedding date for the day of coordination package, but Bonny helped us starting from the very first day. She was available via email or phone, and if she wasn't she would get back to us within the day. We truly appreciated how responsive and proactive she was and kept us on track in terms of planning and helping us think of the little details we would have overlooked. Bonny created the timeline for both the rehearsal and the day of, then contacted each of our vendors to make sure they knew their roles for the day of. After doing all the leg work, she relayed everything to Alison and Liz (our assistant day of coordinator) who executed everything perfectly on our wedding day. Thanks to Bonny, Alison, and Liz, our day was totally stress free and smooth. Knowing that everything was taken care of, we were able to really enjoy our day to the fullest!

We booked Bonny for day-of coordination services for our wedding on October 1st, but she helped us with way more than just day-of services! From the very beginning after our first meeting, she was available via phone, text, or email if we had any questions or concerns and she had many recommendations for other vendors that we hadn't booked yet. The "day-of" coordination package actually extended to the "month-of" as she was constantly in touch with me to figure out vendor coordination, decorations, table seating, and working on the timeline.

Bonny was always ready to answer any questions and fix any problem that may have arisen. When I came across a problem with my venue's vendor meals being extremely overpriced, Bonny went out of her way to coordinate with the other vendors to get vendor meals from a nearby restaurant instead! And on the day of, when we ran into parking issues at the venue, she went above and beyond to make sure that I wouldn't have to stress about it and handled the situation like a pro!

We were so happy with our choice to have a day-of coordinator and Bonny did a fantastic job keeping everything on track and making sure that we had nothing to worry about the entire day- all the way up until the end of the night! They really helped make our special day unforgettable and stress-free!

We hired a day-of coordinator to set up the reception, but the team at B-Spoke ended up being indispensable. I could not make it through the day without them and they deserve major credit for my wedding being perfect. The high level of service at such a reasonable price is a no-brainer – I totally recommend booking them.

During planning, we met with Bonny twice to go over the info and to keep me on schedule. She gave great referrals for the florist, make up artist, and photographer. She provided a detailed day-of schedule and sent it out to my vendors and wedding party.

We found out a couple of weeks before the wedding that Bonny would not be there due to health reasons. She said this was the first time she had ever missed a wedding. We were not happy about this change at first, but working with Allison from her team was a dream.

Allison started at our first look and didn’t leave until the end of the reception. She was so sweet and helpful the entire time, in a way that was unobtrusive and not demanding but still totally on top of everything. She took care of everything we expected and went above and beyond. She kept our dog company so he wouldn’t bark throughout the ceremony and ended up taking one of our favorite pictures of him. She kept us moving from table to table during the photos so that we wouldn’t run out of time. Without me thinking of it, she used my cell phone to take a video of our first dance so I could have that keepsake. When the groom’s boutonniere fell apart, she made a new one.

Doug did an amazing job setting up the reception site with little direction from us, everything was perfect. Our gifts and card box, as well as décor we were taking home, all made it into my sister’s car without me having to say a word. I literally didn’t have to pay attention to anything except the present moment because Doug and Allison took care of everything. I also appreciate that they're Asian and can manage my crazy Asian family.

If you’re reading this review, you might be thinking about hiring a wedding coordinator, in which case I’ll sum it up: hire Bonny!

Bonny is AMAZING, in addition to being organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and creative (and also bakes delicious cookies!). We hired her as a day-of-coordinator for our April 2016 wedding, but she’s guided us throughout the entire planning process. She’s so personable and sweet and really makes an effort to get to know you and your vision, and also works with you (and your budget!) closely to help you brainstorm and achieve your dream wedding.

On the day of our wedding, Bonny made sure everything ran smoothly and on-time, and was quick on her feet to resolve any last minute changes or mishaps. Honestly there are so many extra details in the wedding process that we would have totally missed or messed up, but instead we had a fantastically stress-free experience. Thanks to Bonny, we simply spent the day enjoying the wedding we dreamed of, relaxing with family and friends, and just having the most beautiful and perfect day of our lives!

Bonny at B-Spoke Events was such an integral part of my daughter, Faith Klein's wedding to Brian Klein. Faith and I truly had no idea what we were doing regarding planning a wedding and were feeling a little bit lost. Bonny came on the scene and the wedding planning became a fun event rather than an anxiety producing process. Bonny offered us different levels of her service and we chose the one that fit us best. Bonny totally understood my kid's vision for their special day and she made it happen in such a magical way. Right before the big day the weather took a turn for the worse. The kids had chosen outdoor venues for both the wedding and reception. We panicked, but Bonny didn't. She calmly arranged for tents, heaters, up lights, chandeliers and adorable umbrellas for the wedding party. It was a seamless transition and looked unbelievably gorgeous. By the day of the wedding Bonny felt like family to me! I would gladly use Bonny and B-Spoke Events in a heartbeat for any other event that may pop up in my family's future!

Bonny was more than wonderful! She was so helpful and saved our butts from a bridezilla break down a few times ;) She was willing to work with me on everything from timelines to invites to our budget. Bonny was able to provide realistic and knowledgeable insight and opinions which my husband and I truly valued. She has provided great suggestions for vendors and was really able to listen to what we wanted and was able to execute. I bought some moss a few days before the big day which did not go well on the escort table, and she went out of her way to go find replacement moss for the table - she truly cared about the details as much as I did! Bonny is incredible! As soon as my (now) husband and I met with her, she listened to all of our ideas, looked at my Pinterest board, and was able to take those elements and design and the wedding of our dreams. She is extremely detail oriented and made the whole planning process almost effortless. Thanks to Bonny, we didn't have to correspond with ten different vendors; we could work just with her. I cannot rave about Bonny and her team enough for our actual wedding day. They were on top of everything; even picking up a bottle of blue champagne in the morning because I forgot to bring it. I never had to stress about timing or keeping up with a schedule; they made it happen for everyone. About 30 minutes before our evening rooftop ceremony, it started to rain heavily. We couldn't have music, we were limited on the amount of lights we could have on, and everyone had to stand because the chairs were wet. This easily could have been a disaster, but Bonny and her team made it work. They bought clear umbrellas earlier just-in-case, and stood out in the rain while getting everyone else up to the roof to cheer for us as we practically ran down the aisle. I know if Bonny wasn't at the wedding, it would not have been as amazing and memorable as it was. I look forward to working with her again at future events.

I wish I could give Bonny at B-Spoke Events 50 stars out of 5! Pretty much right after I said "Yes!" I contacted Bonny and flooded her with my excitement of questions! I had NO idea where to start with all of this planning. She didn't hesitate to join in my happy excitement and helped me strategize, organize, and bring clarity to the suffocating mess of a million Pinterest+traditional ideas I had flying around in my head!

This summer, I had an outdoor destination wedding in Hawai'i. Even though Bonny wasn't as familiar with my island venue as she is with local So Cal places, it didn't matter- nobody could have ever known she wasn't the local on-site coordinator! She flew to Oahu knowing exactly what I wanted and needed, and used her gift of tasteful creativity to bring harmony and balance to our outdoor venue decor. Bonny stayed true to the vision and passed on additional details that were distracting and unnecessary.

B-Spoke Events went above and beyond what I thought an event planning company could do. When it started pouring rain RIGHT before my procession out, she ensured our guests were safe and dry under the tent, and stayed with me in the Bridal Suite of the house. She took a photo of me smiling in my dress holding my bouquet as I was waiting for the rain to pass over, and THIS was one of my favorite photos of the day! It was clear to me at that moment that I made the right decision to work with Bonny as my coordinator. Since the rain ruined some paper items that were on the registration table, she took what could be salvaged and worked with our DJ to make announcements during the reception instead! Bonny truly cares for her clients, and in my experience, has always put herself in the right place at the right time.. LITERALLY!

Bonny is amazing, flat out. I was given her information, recommended for her attention to detail and boy is that right. From the first time we spoke she never pressured me, even when I told her I was working within a particular budget and wanted a particular, eclectic look -- there were lots of details to work out since we were having it at a private venue, but Bonny went above and beyond to make sure it was how we envisioned and still on budget. The wedding was so absolutely gorgeous and bohemian, just as we wanted it! Everyone commented on how transformed the backyard was, just amazing :)

She was extremely responsive through-out the entire process, no matter the question I had. She also had some great vendors that were able to meet our needs. Bonny had an extremely detailed timeline that really kept everything and everyone on track.
As a person, Bonny is so so sweet! She even got us a small gift for our wedding, totally a surprise.

The best part is her day-of service... I remember arriving and simply being told there was no need for us to worry about anything, such a relief! Everything went off without a hitch, all on time, perfect :)

Bonny helped me think through every detail and moment of the wedding, from the arrival of my out of town family to the last song played. My husband and I were filled with many unique ideas and she helped us integrate them flawlessly into the schedule. Bonny helped us find themed decorations, an expert florist and the day of schedule and coordination was seem less. Our wedding even started on time AND we had time to take nearly 100 family and bridal party photos before the ceremony. Birthdays, anniversaries, I don't care what the event... Bonny was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! My now-husband and I were planning our wedding from across the country - so we knew we needed someone we could trust who could help us through the process. Bonny was awesome from the beginning. We started with a skype interview so she knew exactly what we imagined for our wedding day. She was always on top of everything - emailing us and texting us to make sure we didn't miss any details or forget anything. She communicated with all our vendors. She helped us with paper goods and other tiny details. She made the most detailed timeline I could ever imagine and coordinated with our vendors and bridal party. I never worried or stressed about my wedding, because I let Bonny worry about it for me!! The wedding day itself was fabulous!! Everything came together and everyone had a blast! Bonny was wonderful as our wedding day of coordinator. I communicated with her often and thoroughly and she was able to capture my wedding vision perfectly. Our venue was very bare and she was able to put up all the decorations and setup in a timely manner. Any vendor you are missing she has a contact for. She made us a naked cake at a reasonable price and even provided some last minute confetti for our ceremony. Bonny even had a contact for a projector screen and a clean up crew. She worked with all our vendors and provide a schedule so that everyone was on the same page. The nights before we would be able drop off decorations for her to bring to the venue. Overall I would recommend her service!

B-Spoke was AWESOME! I had no idea what I was doing when I was planning my wedding! It didn't help that I was working full-time and going to school full-time too. B-Spoke was super helpful making sure everything was organized before and during the wedding. I've heard horror stories of couples who had to manage major catastrophes on their wedding day, but mine was perfect! B-Spoke made sure everything ran smoothly and if there were problems I didn't know about it! Most weddings often run late, but mine was actually ahead of schedule so we didn't have to rush!!

I came to Bonny as a blank slate... I only knew the colors I wanted for the wedding as well as wanting a simple Chevron pattern. She took my two very simple and generic ideas and turned it into the most beautiful wedding filled with details and personalized it to my husband and I . She was able to bring many great ideas to the table to help us plan our big day.
Bonny - the owner of B-Spoke Events was not only extremely reasonably priced, but also helped me stay within my budget. She was mindful of my needs, wants, and situation, and was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process! :) Bonny and her team went FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND what I contracted her for. She was also extremely prompt with her responses to my Emails, phone calls, and texts (...yes... I was THAT bride). haha. Many days when I would be having moments of FREAKING OUT... Bonny would assure me that everything was taken care of and that it would all be perfect in the end...... she was absolutely right. :)

1) Chez Rose Floral Design did my bouquets and decorated my church for me. It was amazing and also extremely reasonably priced.

Bespoke events played a key role on the wedding planning. There are many details that goes into planning a wedding and I definatley want to emphasize that a planner is not a vendor you should overlook. Unless you have the schedule that permits the planning on your own I highly recommend looking into a planner. Our guests enjoyed themselves very much throughout the day of our wedding which was an all day affair. We still get compliments on how the flawless our wedding was... Bonny did an amazing job even when we had a few unanticipated issues. She made me feel at ease and I enjoyed my wedding day knowing that there was someone by my side taking care of the details... I mentioned in another review that B-Spoke Events, Chez Rose Floral Designs, and Royal Restaurant & Banquet were the holy trio of my wedding. The three vendors have such a great working relationship, and it really gave us a sense of confidence that everything will go smoothly. =D

I knew I needed a wedding coordinator when my husband and I first planned our wedding. My husband (then fiancé) was much more difficult to convince. He was adamant that family and friends would be able to help. As much as I love my family and friends, I did not want to depend on them for many reasons. First, I want them to ENJOY our biggest day. Second, my husband and I can be picky, and we can't afford to get upset at family if something went wrong. As much as friends and family would like to help, you still need a central person to tie everything together. And Bonny was our savior! Please let Bonny take care of the details!! You will not regret it!!!!

My husband and I got married at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Cal State Long Beach, and had our reception at the Royal Restaurant & Banquet in Westminster. Since my ceremony venue already provided on-site coordinators, we thought we only needed a coordinator for our reception. Bonny was able to work with me to cater a package that fit our needs. Although this worked out fine, a big part of me do wish that I hired Bonny for the entire day. I've told Bonny before, and I want to tell all the yelpers out there - Bonny was hands down the BEST investment we made in our wedding. Bonny has always been proactive in helping us beyond her line of duty, yet never being intrusive or pushy.

Bonny was way more than just my reception coordinator. We worked directly with Bonny [owner] and her attention to detail leading up to the wedding was simply wonderful -- she kept us on track with our deadlines, hooked us up with a fantastic photographer and florist, and made great suggestions along the way. Bonny knows when to push to get things done on time, and when to hang back and let things ride while the bride/groom figure out what they want to do.

However, when Bonny really shined was during the weekend of the actual wedding. The day before the big event, we found out that there had been a huge underground fire in Long Beach and there was NO POWER for thousands of residents and businesses. No power for the rehearsal. No power for the following catered rehearsal dinner. No power at the entire wedding venue (The Loft on Pine) for THREE DAYS. Kind of a disaster. However, Bonny didn't let it phase her. She jumped right in, helping us morph the rehearsal dinner into a charming backyard barbecue at our rented family beach house down the coast. She helped procure and cook the dinner. Helped us wash up afterwards. Stayed on top of all of the vendors, making sure they knew what happened and made contingency plans. On the day of the wedding, Bonny pulled in extra folks to help set out candles, helped us move hair/makeup to a nearby powered hotel and worked with the electricians on getting generators. She even fanned the wedding party when we were about to melt from the mid-summer heat in the bridal suite.

Needless to say, this "little glitch" in the planning process was not ideal...but with Bonny, we all felt like we were taken care of and everything was eventually going to work out just fine. Which it did...in spades. We had loads of guests tell us it was the most memorable, romantic wedding they'd ever been to...and we agree.

My husband and I chose Bonny after interviewing several potential coordinators. My husband is in the entertainment business and produces large scale shows and he had a specific plan and idea for our wedding and the correct person for the job. Bonny took our vision and created a wonderful event. Her and her staff were very attentive the day of and everything ran smoothly. The timelines she created for the day of went off without a hitch. The services she also provided leading up to the day also were amazing. Thanks again for making our day enjoyable!

Bonny is for sure on top of her game. She is a big reason of why my stress level was practically at zero on my wedding day. She was super responsive and helped guide me as I planned my wedding. Collaborating with her was super easy, and her attention to detail was great. What I liked best was how she kept everything ahead of schedule, allowing for adjustments, and how all of the vendors I was working with her coordinated so smoothly. She was great at making sure everyone was on the same page. I would absolutely recommend her services!
