My sister and cousins gifted me Kayla’s services for my wedding. I originally had planned on doing everything myself, but after seeing how much work actually needed to be done on the day of the wedding, I don’t know how I thought it would have been possible for me to set up, coordinate with vendors, get ready, and eat/breathe on my wedding day. Kayla is phenomenal. From our first zoom meeting together, to getting to meet in person, the day before the wedding, and day itself; every question was asked, every moment was planned, every detail outlined and executed perfectly. We had to change reception venues a month out and Kayla was ready to roll with the punches and to help keep me calm. She is so kind, cares about her clients and their families, and it is so clear that she loves what she does. I cannot recommend Kayla enough, she exceeded any expectations I had. If you want your wedding reception, or any other event, to run smoothly and to happen without panic; if you want to actually have moments to enjoy your wedding and not sweat the small (or big) stuff; please consider Kayla and “Not Your Basic Bride”. My wedding was the perfect day, and a big part of that was thanks to Kayla’s expertise and skill.

We're SO happy we made the decision to hire Kayla as our DoC. The actual day ran without any kinks, and Kayla's help leading up to the wedding was invaluable (she goes way above and beyond a DoC!). She helped us communicate with a tough vendor so we didn't lose our minds and kept us on track with all the little details. She even took the time to find an amazing allergen-friendly baker for the wedding, after I struggled to find someone, which truly meant a lot!

Kiss the Ring took a vision of a dark academia garden wedding and turned it into something out of a dream this summer in the Berkshires. We worked together hand in hand to produce the entire event, which was an immersive experience for all guests. I barely lifted a finger through sourcing the top of the line vendors, coordinating tastings with the incredible Heirloom Fire team who created a dining experience like no other (including a full pig roast, themed attire, enchanting cocktail hour display, and unbelievable food), the event and floral design, and incredible vibe. It was a day I could only have dreamed of. Her hustle (physically setting up 100 chairs when need be) attention to detail, calm and caring personality, can-do spirit, creative eye and experience are second to none. I am eternally in awe!!

I attended my aunt’s wedding last weekend. I am so close to her and wanted her to have the perfect day. I believe Kayla went above and beyond in understanding what my aunt wanted— listening to her and getting her ideas to look just perfect!!! I was wowed by the centerpieces and flower arrangements especially. Even though this wedding was simple, Kayla elevated everything to look just so special. What an amazing day!! And she was so kind and easy to work with, as my mom helped with planning too. Just a lovely experience! 10/10

As my sister was starting to plan her wedding, she just didn’t know where to begin and had a hard time making decisions. That’s when she hired Kayla who owns Kiss the Ring. From the very beginning Kayla put her at ease. She had asked many questions to see exactly what the bride was looking for even though she didn’t know herself. Kayla was very good at communicating, quick to respond, and a perfectionist to detail. The wedding was this past Saturday and it turned out absolutely spectacular! She eased the bride and grooms stress. This made it so easy for them to enjoy their beautiful wedding day!

I debated for a long time whether or not to get a day of coordinator. With all the stress of the month and day of, I am so happy to have had Kayla. I didn't have a thing to worry about with her there.

Kayla and her team (Cara was with us on our wedding day) were the absolute best. I could write an essay on how unbelievable of a job they did and I’d give one million stars if I could. Leading up to our wedding day, Kayla was so organized, communicative, and helpful. She listened so carefully to my requests and preferences for the day while also giving her extremely useful perspective on everything. She is so good at what she does. Her presence is incredibly calming which is so needed for the wedding planning process. Our wedding was at my mom’s home and therefore there were a lot of details to think through and plan. I felt completely confident that things would go well with the day in Kayla’s hands - and they sure did. She made sure the day was amazing and was prepared for any scenario - including having liquid IV ready for me when I got dehydrated on our 95 degree wedding day!! I would trust her to coordinate any event, big or small, and will be recommending her to all of my friends and family who have any wedding and event planning needs. Simply the best.

We booked Kayla for our wedding this past week (7/14/22) a year ago and she has been nothing but amazing from our first talk to the last! She is the nicest, most calm professional I’ve ver met. I guess you have to be working with nervous brides :). I especially liked all the follow up meetings we had to ensure I never forgot anything and to ensure she was prepared. Kayla was so helpful with the day-of coordination for my wedding! The day went so smoothly (or appeared to) and I know it was all thanks to her work and her team's work. She was also accommodating leading up to my wedding day and was always willing to chat or bounce ideas off. I wasn't originally planning on having a day of person, but after going through it all, I couldn't imagine not having one. Very much worth the money!

I cannot find the words to correctly describe how incredible Kayla and her team are. Kayla is kind, responsive, creative, and has an exceptional creative eye. Our 15 person wedding in Salem, MA on Halloween was incredible. She transformed a historic site (The House of the Seven Gables) into a stunning, intimate, and romantic venue for my husband and I to enjoy with our loved ones. If you are considering a planner - do yourself a massive favor and pick Kayla. She will get the job done and make you feel like a badass the whole way.
