We used Abbey Catering for our 5/31/26 wedding at the Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla and they made our dream wedding possible. We chose to use Abbey exclusively for every aspect of our wedding – rentals, catering, photography, DJ, and florist. Their all-inclusive package made wedding planning very easy (especially as two medical students planning from out of state) and customizable to what you want. Our wedding coordinator, David, made planning very easy and answered any questions that came up. Using all Abbey vendors made it very easy to plan as they were all familiar with the venue and team so they were able to provide a lot of guidance and suggestions. The package was also budget friendly for a beach side wedding especially compared to our caters allowed at Scripps. On the day of the wedding, everything went very smoothly from set-up to clean-up. All of our guests had a blast and David led us through the day seamlessly and felt like we could enjoy each moment (including being able to actually eat dinner and cocktail apps). Every detail of the wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious! Of our Abbey vendors, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Chris Wood (photographer), Cameron (DJ from Wedding Entertainment Collective), and Mishele (Florist, Emerald & Ivy). We would be happy to work with Abbey again and 10/10 recommend them for a wedding at Scripps Seaside.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have connected with Rabbi Yael for our wedding, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From start to finish, she exceeded every expectation we had. Our pre-ceremony sessions with Rabbi Yael were transformative. She created a welcoming space where we could explore what was meaningful to us and have thoughtful conversations about our values, our relationship, and how we wanted to honor our heritage. Those conversations shaped not just our ceremony, but our understanding of what this day meant to us. The ceremony itself was nothing short of beautiful. Every detail from the Ketubah signing to the final moments under the chuppah felt intentional and deeply meaningful. Rabbi Yael has a remarkable gift for creating sacred space. She wove together Jewish traditions in a way that felt authentic and heartfelt, making our intercultural ceremony feel cohesive and celebratory rather than disjointed. Our guests were moved, and we heard repeatedly that the ceremony was their favorite part of the wedding. Several people told us they'd never experienced a Jewish ceremony before and how much they appreciated the reverence and beauty with which Rabbi Yael presented each tradition. What we appreciated most was Rabbi Yael's commitment to honoring Jewish customs while making the ceremony feel personal and accessible to everyone present. We will carry the memories of working with Rabbi Yael and the ceremony she created for us always. If you're looking for a rabbi who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, collaborative, and truly invested in making your ceremony special, Rabbi Yael is the perfect choice. I was traveling across the country for my son’s wedding and found Doris through Thumbtack. Being 3,000 miles away with no local referrals, I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did. From our first conversation, Doris was professional, warm, and incredibly responsive. I sent her photos of myself and what I was hoping for, and on the big day, she came to my hotel and worked her magic. When she handed me the mirror, I was blown away. I looked elegant, radiant, and truly beautiful—something I don’t say lightly. Throughout the wedding, strangers came up to tell me how stunning I looked. My hair and makeup held perfectly through tears, hugs, and dancing. Doris made me feel like Cinderella for a day, and I can’t thank her enough. If you’re on the fence—don’t be. Doris is a gem!

Lykai was my planner for my March 2026 wedding, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. I chose partial planning because I love being involved and tend to be very type A, but I needed someone with real industry experience to guide me through the details and she was exactly that. She made planning from out of state feel seamless and stress-free. Lykai brought my vision to life while also offering thoughtful advice whenever I felt stuck or overwhelmed with decisions. I never once felt pressured, and always felt comfortable being honest about what I wanted (and didn’t want), which made the entire process so much easier. One of the biggest highlights was the vendors she recommended. Every single one was within my budget, and I genuinely loved working with all of them. I don’t think I would have found many of them on my own (& likely would have had to sacrifice quality or cost which I didn’t have to do thankfully). On top of everything, I felt her pricing was incredibly reasonable for the level of service she provides. If you’re looking for someone who can step in as much or as little as you need, while keeping you calm and confident throughout the process, I highly recommend Lykai and the Moments Remembered Events team.

We ordered the "Sherwood Forest" Chuppah with draping for our May 20th wedding down in Carlsbad. The reservation was done quick and easy, communication was clear, they arrived on-time and took care of the setup and take down without interrupting a single person. The Chuppah was MUCH MORE impressive in person, the drapes were soft and flowing, and we could NOT have asked for a more beautiful ceremonial accent. Thank you Arc de Belle for a memorable day! We appreciate your work and service!

I worked with Cheryl for our wedding signage - welcome sign, seating chart, bar signage, table numbers, etc. and she did an INCREDIBLE job! The gorgeous vintage mirrors elevated the decor and made everything look so elegant. Cheryl was super responsive and easy to talk to, and took so much stress off of my plate. If you're thinking about booking the Sweet Studio, just do it; it was worth every penny!

Michael and his team at Tapenade were fantastic! Michael was in constant communication with me prior to the big day. He was great at keeping me informed of plans, asking me questions about stuff I had never thought of, and working with my constant last minute little changes and requests. The team also provided our bar service as well as rentals. I do think you might be able to get rentals cheaper through someone else, but dealing with one less vendor made things that much easier. The food was absolutely delicious and we had tons of people comment how much they enjoyed it. They also easily accommodated a few guests with special dietary needs. A huge thank you goes out to Michael and the Tapenade team!

Dannielle was fabulous! She came to my home for my spray tan trial, which I loved, so I booked myself and the bridal party for my wedding. All 6 girls commented on her professionalism and expertise. Dannielle adjusted the spray tans to our individual needs and wants. She worked around my hectic schedule and catered to all of our requests. All of us looked very natural and had a beautiful glow for the big day! One of my bridesmaids recently booked her for her upcoming wedding. I'm extremely picky, but as you can tell, I would recommend her to all! Thank you so much, Dannielle! You are truly talented and I'm lucky to have found you! Ashley

Our wedding planner, Amy from First Comes Love, was phenomenal. She brought our vision to life with grace, organization, and heart. From the earliest planning stages to the last dance, she managed every detail seamlessly, kept us calm, and made sure everything ran perfectly. Her experience and relationships with other vendors and venues were absolutely priceless, every recommendation she made turned out to be exceptional. On the wedding day, she was everywhere at once coordinating, supporting, and making sure Kyle and I could truly enjoy every moment.
